Gives you a chance to appreciate the drinks and company. If you're walking on the street you won't see the bar - it's tucked away in the back of a building upstairs. It was almost all empty seating when I arrived, with a good amount of to go orders being made periodically. The music is a little loud and the tables are an uncomfortable height to work on, so not the best for a remote work location. As for the coffee itself, I was fan of their Brown Sugar Honey Latte. It had a healthy coating of tantalizing cinnamon atop a salted honey cream. Would come back just for this! My friend tried their scone, which was a bit more of a biscuit, and wasn't a fan. I know when it was Neighborhood Cafe, they used to order pastries from a local bakery. Not sure what they do now. This was honestly probably my favorite Caesar salad I've ever had, period. The dressing had a little bit of a kick to it, it was peppery and just so flavorful, and the kale was perfectly marinated. I don't know, it was just great. The chicken was amazing. It was kind of a lot of dressing, so next time I might get it on the side, but it was still so good. This might just be a personal thing, but I will say one downside was that I got an awful stomach ache about an hour afterward. What maybe should have been a more private conversation between the servers was louder than expected that affected my views of their professionalism as one shared his anger and made several comments about a party due to receiving a tip on the lower end of the scale. My duck ravioli came with a thin, almost watery white sauce that had very little flavor. My date's cauliflower was described as very spicy by our server but arrived with virtually no spice or flavor at all. It also felt more like a small plate than an entree. Overall, it feels like you're paying a premium for the spaceship gimmick and atmosphere while getting fairly average, and in some cases below-average, food.
