The bartenders were in full swing busy mode and it was fun to watch them work. We ordered the fig manhattan, which was fantastic with a light fig foam, and the drunken monk that had a different flavor with each sip. As we drank, we enjoyed the lively crowd, the dimly lit ambience and conversation with the bartenders. They were all mixologists who had witty banter. We really enjoyed our time here and will be back to try the food!

Both cocktails were excellent. The happy hour menu is a genuine steal: everything with a star is half off. We got a big basket of fresh-cut fries with house-made ketchup for $6, and they were delicious -- hot, crisp, actually made in-house, not thawed. Marciele behind the bar was great (apologies if I've spelled her name wrong) -- attentive, knowledgeable, and made the whole stop feel easy. Great drinks, real value, gorgeous room. We'll be back.
