I have a bad back an had to sit in the most uncomfortable chair for over and hour waiting for this girl to setup the phones and do all the crap she had to do. It was nothing more then a piece of plywood on legs. I'm not real crazy about the way they explain the new charges and fees I will be getting with the new phone or what the new phone will be costing me in he end. I did ask her several times to explain it but every time I got the same answer. I feel like I got ripped off but I do realize its my fault for not following up better an ask again until I understood everything. I truly hate the fact that they have you by the balls. The gentleman immediately questioned why I had two phones, regardless of whether they were for work or personal use. This was irrelevant because I had come specifically to upgrade my phone. I hate to bring race into it but I'm a African American female that is highly educated. Furthermore, since I no longer share the same last name as my father, who is the account holder, my account was flagged as fraudulent. Despite this, there were no security questions or any attempts to verify my identity or assist me. Manager Joe was equally unhelpful. He informed me that my account had been flagged as fraudulent the day before, even though no order for a phone had been processed that day. When I contacted the fraud department, they confirmed that the account had not been flagged until today. Despite the fact that the fraud department cleared my name and approved the online order I had made, Manager Joe refused to give me the phone. This was despite the fact that my order clearly stated that my phone was ready. This Verizon location fails to provide the essential customer service that is expected. There is no professionalism or willingness to assist a loyal customer.

My plan included 3 family members who were not in the store with me but Karem was so helpful and video called each of them to help set up the service on their phones. I was there for about 2 hours and he was so patient the whole time, even when we had to wait for my family to be available while they were at work. I had no idea it was such a process but he answered all my questions and took the time to explain everything to me. It seemed to get busy while I was there but I never felt rushed and I was so satisfied with my experience there!

But the attitudes and overall decorum of this store location that my mother and I encountered today was just abysmal and ruined our day. First of all, we entered and no one greeted us or asked if we needed help. We were hoping to get a new phone case that would fit my father's outdated I-phone 11. I knew we probably wouldn't come up with anything and that it would be too out of date, but we'd gotten multipurpose cases here before. We made our way over to the phone case area and it was a mess, there didn't seem to be a real order to anything, things were mismatched, etc. Then an employee walked past my mother and let out a loud, disgusting belch. A nearby customer, who was waiting for said Verizon employee to come back and attend to him, even responded in disgust and annoyance saying with immense sarcasm, "Charming." I then made my way over to an older gentleman employee, saying excuse me and apologizing if I was interrupting him as it looked like he was in the middle of helping someone/doing something on his tablet. Said gentleman rolled his eyes, huffed, and said in a deeply annoyed tone of voice, "What's up?" I asked if they had any cases that would fit an I-phone 11 and he interrupted me before I had time to finish my question and said, "We don't have that. It's too old and out of date. Happy Holidays." before going back to what he was doing. While I knew it was a long shot that we could get said case, I believe we could have been treated more kindly and that overall demeanors of the employees and the store could have been better and more professional. As a customer there for almost 20 years, this was very very disappointing and made my mother even consider switching service providers due to how everything went.
