This restaurant is average at best another overpriced corporate restaurant that cuts cost on food so that it's a lower quality. I just don't see the Wow factor here. There is nothing bringing me back. The beer is just ok for the hefty price, and the food is not exceptional either. I love a good French dip and this sandwich just had that old taste to it or microwaved feeling like you just know it was microwaved instead of put under the broiler. I'm just not impressed for it being a 16.00 sandwich. I just want better. Maybe if the decreased the size of their enormous menu they can focus on quality instead of quantity. However, the atmosphere is always nice here, you can just come here after work and enjoy a few beers or an appetizer but plan on spending at least 50 dollar bill. I don't know why places like this don't offer a service industry night it would bring in business from others around the community who know food the best. Also, I know these peopleI'd rather go to Chili's get a great burger for half the price amazing chips and salsa and a happy hour beer. read more

A little underwhelming. New building, modern look. Was thinking this would be top notch microbrewery/restaurant. I failed to realize that some microbrewery,s have chains. Like this one. Defeating the whole idea from the start. It's a chain restaurant that makes its own beer. And the beer was horrible. I got a golden flight of beers. From pales to a stout. They had other flights to choose from so results may vary. But the beers I tried were in my opinion just bad. Non rounded flavor profiles. Had a cloudy pale that tasted skunkey. I have had much better Comercial beers. And much better small brew beers. Beer was very amerturish. Told the manager my opinion, and she brought me more to try. Just not good. She was friendly though. Wife got a peach Margarita, that was overly sweet, a weak screwdriver. And a spicey sobe noodle dish. That was absolutely nothing special. They had a large varied menu. With vegetarian options. Got a seared ahi salad. It was OK, but common. Only been here once will update my review if my opinion changes. read more

BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Executioner row - New American Near Me - Boardman, Ohio

Went there for lunch on Sunday. The appetizers that we ordered where gross. Avocado egg rolls. Told our waitress that they where gross and she never removed them off my receipt told me she gave me her employee discount? Party of 3 and only ate 3 and left 6 on the plate. They where brown and mushy. Certainly didn't look anything like the picture in the menu. Got sliders all it was a cut hamburger x4 and the lettuce was brown and looked like the just threw everything on the plate. Poor display of food! Very disappointed with the whole visit won't ever return! Don't waste your money eating there! So yay :/ read more

Only getting three stars bc of the food. Service was spotty after the first engagement and teamwork from the service staff was seriously lacking. Managers and servers walked by my poorly prebussed table multiple times, this lack of attention to detail included obvious need for beverage refills. read more

Food was amazing and excellent service for being the 1st day open. Great service. Will definitely be back. read more

We sat at our table for nearly 30 minutes for someone to take our order. It was another 30 minutes to get our order, but the fries did not come out with our dinner. We had to wait 10 minutes more for those! The waitress came around as we were ready to leave to fill our water glasses as they sat empty throughout the meal. We will never eat here again. read more

The only reason I'm even writing this is to let people know how TERRIBLE the service was. Walk in to a filthy bar, like the whole bar and atmosphere at the bar was disgusting. Glasses piled up nobody trying to actively clean it up glasses and food all over the bar top. Anyway we sit down she cleans the bar by where we're sitting and leaves water all over the counter, she wasn't very knowledgeable about the beers which.. it's a brewery. Come on. We order our drinks, & my beer glass was dirty, on the outside which I was gonna let slide bc she seemed stressed but then as I'm drinking there was food on the INSIDE of my glass as well and the other bartender got me a new glass which.. was also dirty.. she called the manager over without me saying anything which was nice and I thought everything was gonna get turned around because he was so kind and he got me a glass from the kitchen not the bar lol but then the bartender took our order and we had questions she couldn't answer simple things like does tomato come on this sandwich and I asked her for no onions on my mahi mahi tacos and then it took a good hour to even get our food and when we did my boyfriends was BURNT and they literally gave me 4 chips for my side of chips I was mad but like whatever bc the runner brought me more but then I bite into my food and it was covered in raw onions, I HATE onions and at this point I'm livid. I ask for the manager again and explain what happened and he got me a new meal quick I will add and didn't charge me, and took my other food and beer off the tab but I literally got the easiest thing on the menus , shrimp scampi bc that's pretty hard to mess up right? He offered me a free desert which I declined because honestly at this point I didn't want anything from them. Then I asked the bartender for a box, she said okay walked away from me then the people next to me ask for a box she brought them a box and forgot mine so I asked for the check and a box AGAIN to which she only brought the check :)))))))) we paid online so we could leave and I will never ever be coming back. I appreciate the manager trying to fix the mess his employees made but he couldn't fix that. Just be prepared for bad service at the bar. :) still tipped 15% bc it's the right thing to do but I'm never going back. read more

This place has the potential to be 5 stars. I went here with family. First, our server Eddy was on it. Ask for him. However, our food didn't live up to the hype. Now this place is mostly known for their pizza, my sister got that and it was good. I got the parmesan crusted chicken. It was dry and hardly had any of the lemon sauce it's supposed to be drenched in, my mom's steak was overcooked and my brother in laws was way over cooked. Drinks were great: Alabama Sunset, American Mule, Watermelon Mojito.. Their drinks are all good. They removed the two meals off of the bill which was nice and offered a free drink. Manager stopped by and he was good to us. Eddy though, the server, handled everything really well and he was busy. Had the salted caramel dessert and that was DELICIOUS. It was free because it was my birthday. My expectations were a little higher..I'll try this place again in the future. read more

Bj was so good, our server summer which I recommend greatly was excellent , I can't wait to come back here again , the service is great , food is gourmet , this is definitely a competitor with PF Changs and Cheesecake Factory , And may I say , it blows it out of the water , I got the chicken lettuce raps and I got a pizookie as a desert, can't wait to come back read more

There was 40 of us passing through town from Chicago to Philadelphia. We were a group of lineman heading home from helping out after a winter storm. I called ahead and gave them word to expect 40 of us. They were more than accommodating for everything that we needed. The wait staff and the management went above and beyond to feed us. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!! read more

This place is good, not great. The pizza is good and will probably be the only thing that I will get there. The two other times I went, I got a sandwich and something that I can't remember and they weren't very good. Their soup is good. The beer is great. We have always had very good servers. Their menu is so very large. The atmosphere is cool but the noise level is high. read more

Considering the name of the restaurant I was expecting a little more. The closest thing I got was a mozzarella stick but I wanted more bursting in my mouth. Also they are very rude to me for asking if they did Footjobs when I got there. I gave them 2 stars because the waitress was wearing open toed shoes. read more

We've ordered take out a few times from here, but dined in for the first time today. Austin was our server and he absolutely made our experience! He was funny, engaging, so polite, gave us recommendations but first asked our likes and dislikes first. He has is passionate about your product, and it absolutely comes through. Promote him soon before someone else swoops in and snags him, because he was fantastic and next time we come in we're requesting him. Food was amazing. read more

Top shelf place. I usually sit at the bar and the bartenders are phenomenal. They are very attentive to all your needs. They all go beyond good service. I go there at least two or three times a month. Never a disappointment. Everything I've ever tried has been fantastic. They have great clam chowder. And you can get it in a bread bowl. Friday and Saturday they have prime rib that is killer. I would highly recommend this place. And by the way, their brewhouse blonde is a fantastic beer. read more

I wasn't too impressed with the food here, I'm not sure what all the hype was about. It was expensive and the portions were small, our waitress had an attitude as well. I'm not sure if i will be returning here. If i do return i hope I'm blown away like everyone else! read more

Our first time there last night left something to be desired. Let me say first that the beers we're very good, it's cool atmosphere, and the staff was pleasant. In general though the kitchen struggled. We sat at the bar since it was very busy, ordered beers and got them quickly and asked for a water at this time. Ordered our food including a salad, appetizer, and two entrees. The salad was brought out, followed about five minutes later by our entrees. When asked about our app the server seemed confused. Our bartender came to see what the issue was and wet back to the kitchen to try and recitfy it. Then a manager came out with our app apologized and said it was taken off the bill. Much appreciated. So now we have a salad, two entrees, an and beers on the bar. It's a mess. Then we go to eat and my husband's up charged fries are wrong and my avocado on my soba noodles it oxidized and brown... So again or bartender runs back to get the correct fries. My meal though oxidized is good so I let it go. The bartender asks about dessert and we decide to split one. We wait twenty minutes trying to flag her down to order this, still can't and end up getting another bartender to order it for us. So needless to say this will not become a regular stop for us. It's not bad at all, but you have to ignore the disorganization and if I'm spending $100 on dinner for two I don't think you should have to deal with it. read more

Will never be going back! Food was typical chain restaurant stuff and the server was probably the worst I've ever had! Had such an attitude and any time we asked for anything she'd roll her eyes. And never checked on our table from the beginning. Very very disappointed read more

Try one of theres or maybe even two as both my varieties were delicious. Very casual so there is no need to get dressed up. If you have the app, you can check in and beat the line... read more

We had a great meal. Jalapeno burger, honey mustard chicken sandwich, small deep dish pizza (sized for a 10yr old), and kids chicken tenders. Everything was very good. The fries were great. Beer and root beer was really good. Great atmosphere and staff. We'll stop by when we're in Boardman again! read more

Very disappointed. Came here last year. Didn't like one thing. Typical 2nd rate chain food. Couldn't eat one item.

I just had the best burger in a long time. It was called the Brewhouse burger and t was awesome! The burger was cooked perfect and the bun held all the juicy condiments in ! I recommend this burger to anyone who is hungry for one! The host was very friendly and my server was great also! Thanks BJ for the wonderful experience! read more

Great service. Excellent food. Brussel sprouts appetizer is well worth it. Fantastic beer menu.

NO BRISKET ON MY BRISKET BACON BURGER. DRY MEAT TERRIBLY OVER COOKED. I have eaten at BJ Brewhouse in Canton and now four times in Boardman,OH. They have Omission beer on the menu but never have it in stock. I have eaten the hickory brisket bacon burger on another occasion and it was very good. Today I ordered the same meal and received a burnt burger that was as dry as the bun it was served on. I asked where the " brisket" was and the server brought me a two (2) OZ cup of brisket and said the manager said that's all the burger is supposed to have. I said thank you but originally it had NO brisket. The server was kind and helpful with our kitchen issues. Our chicken sandwich was supposed to have honey mustard and came plain. We never received napkins or silverware during the entire dining experience. Very poor kitchen and lackluster service. Poor management overall. Not worth the price. I'll be picking a different lunch spot next time for sure. Look at this dry burger. read more

Always a great experience at BJ's, somehow we always get the most friendly and great as servers whether we go with our kids or we go by ourselves, we consistently have an excellent experience. One thing I would say and it's not quite negative for some people but the menu is so diverse and there are so many options that it it's difficult to choose sometimes. However, that could be a good thing for some read more

Today was my last visit to BJ's in Boardman. The service has gone down that bad. They are not under staffed by any means, however the staff could care less about you. Mainly the front that seats you or takes orders to go. I ordered a tavern cut pizza (spicy pig) and when I got home , there was no pineapple on it. It was cold and awful. The guy in the front was so rude and lazy. Tried it again and waited 40 minutes for a to go burger that they said would take 15 minutes. It's not even that it took so much longer than they said... it's that they didn't care. I even said my lunch hour is almost over and got no response. The 2 girls in the front were uncaring and had a not my problem attitude. Got back to work with my order and the lettuce and tomato that was supposed to be on the side wasn't there. Fries supposed to be crispy...not!! It's very disappointing because I used to really like it there Atmosphere and all!! Not anymore!! Something is completely different?? read more

I called ahead when they opened and the hostess said there wasn't a need to call ahead. The manager seated us quickly once we arrived and diverted our 1 hour seating wait. The waitress didn't know what was gluten free. We ended up getting the baked potato for a side after the waitress reached out to management...again..because she didn't know what baked potato toppings were gluten free. The manager was great. The food was amazing and the staff was courteous and prompt. Well worth the wait and hassle in the beginning! read more

Great food, drink selection and atmosphere. I really enjoyed the summer patio but didn't like it being first come/first serve. You find yourself lined up to get a dirty table and sit there waiting for service. Wish they treated that part the same as the rest of the restaurant. read more

Wow, incredibly EXPENSIVE! Not sure what they think they have, that other places do not have at a lower price.

Frozen grocery store quality food for upscale prices. Beer selection:meh. If you're a basic person with money to blow, you'll love this place. If you expect something actually high quality for the high prices, be forewarned. read more

We went to BJ's for a corporate dinner, it was to treat some long-standing employees. I was one of them. I ordered the Jambalaya. Big Mistake! 140% of your daily sodium intake in one meal! It was so salty so as to be inedible, and I love ramen noodles! It would have been better to have put a salt lick in my dinner dish, it would have been less salty. There is no reason to have had a 'blackened' dish so salt-loaded. You could have accomplished the same, or much better, flavour without so much salt. The only reason I was able to tell the shrimp from the sausage from the chicken was the texture. So over the top saltiness, this menu item should never be offered to the public. My first thought at my first taste was this meal was wholly inedible. And my second thought. And my third thought. And so forth. You can serve a 'blackened' Cajun dish with far much less salt. Will I ever go back? No way. If I could give less than 1 out of ten, I would. read more

Saturday afternoon in July. Patio is open seating. Sat right down at 5p. Waiter came to us in 5min. Ordered in 20min. Wife's sliders were missing the added cheese. Had to tell three people to get it. You have one waiter but he doesn't bring food nor drinks so at times you don't know who to ask. Had to ask for water refills. Jeremiah red was delicious. Wife had the blonde, also delicious. I had the Nashville hot crispy chicken sandwich. Pretty good, good size not overwhelming. Crispy warm fries with little too much salt. But still good. Slow service on the patio. Beautiful space and patio. Would come back in hopes of better service. Everyone was very nice though. read more
