We had their special which was a prime rib sandwich and omg I died a little. I could have drunk the au jus but I had some wine instead lol! We each had a wine flight and dessert, which was phenomenal. My mom had the cannolis and I had the tiramisu and both were delicious. Our service was excellent. We took home a bottle of the Malbec and Pinot Gris :) definitely recommend checking out for lunch or dinner. It's such a nice ambiance whether dining inside or out.

Once inside the walls are covered with stone to look like a cave the ceiling is covered with plastic. Beverage orders were taken and I ordered a fresh brewed ice tea and received a glass of iced coffee - what kind of mistake is that! Appetizer was spinach artichoke dip which was very runny the bread accompanied the dip was very good. Also had vegetables and dip. I had the Cesar lettuce wrap which came with a basic salad. The wrap must of been made to far ahead of time because it was soggy. Enjoyed meeting up with friends and family.

We were in Zelienople for a musical and stumbled upon this newly opened winery. Apparently, there…read morewas a winery here in the past, but this one just opened up. We were warmly greeted by Todd and Gina, the owners, who couldn't have been friendlier. Todd told us all about their wines, including the awards they've won, especially in California, and generously offered us the chance to try any of the wines at no cost. We started with the Gruner Veltliner, a bright, citrusy, and crisp wine. It was extremely dry compared to other Gruners we've had, which are usually more fruit-forward, but it was still quite enjoyable. Next, we tried the Riesling, which was also very good. My wife moved over to the semi-sweet side and tried the Traminette, which I eventually sampled after trying all the dry wines. We both really liked it. I then tried the Cabernet Franc, which was a medium-bodied wine with notes of raspberry, blueberry, and a light mocha oakiness--delicious! The Chambourcin was also quite good, without the typical bite or tartness. Lastly, the Flagship Red, a classic Bordeaux-style dry red, had a pleasant hint of pepper and was definitely a standout. Todd shared that they exclusively offer wines from Stony Run Vineyards in Breinigsville, PA, which has a wide selection. They're also planning to offer Old Fashioneds soon, as their winery includes a distillery, and they'll be featuring a "drink of the week" as well. What really sets this place apart, though, is Todd and Gina themselves. They're genuinely kind people who are dedicated to the community, and it was heartwarming to learn that they both served in the US Military--Todd in the Navy and Gina in the Air Force. We're already looking forward to our next visit when we're in the area again. Don't forget to thank them for their service when you stop by!

We visited on a chilly February evening and all the fireplaces were in use. I love it when there is a fire, the aroma just adds to the ambience. We had the Bruschetta, which was quite marvelous. Very tasty. There is a wine list, but it used to be better. A bunch of lower tier options, with a smattering of maybe 4 quality bottles. We did order a bottle of the house red, and it is sweet, flat, and heavy. My wife gave up on her glass and got a house Cab Sauv, which wasn't much better. We should have gone with the Stag's Leap Cab like she wanted. Dinner was the Filet Mignon and the Steak and Cake. The Filet was excellent and the Maryland Crab Cake was delicious. The Steak with the crab was good, but underwhelming. Desert was a strawberry chocolate cake. It was good. Overall. Great place, great ambiance, good waitress, and good food. Final price was @$217 plan accordingly. That said, we planned and were looking forward to splurging. Yes, I should have splurged more for the better wine too We will be back.

Within the tavern you're greeted with original artichetic from the 19th Centurary. If you're interested in seeing the tools they used to build it, they're on display! With an ambiance that screams romance, the candle lit dinner certainly sets the mood. The food does not leave you wanting. You can taste the natural flavors that are complimented and enhanced by great seasoning. I've personally come to love the bruschetta and the beef wellington. Their staff leaves no room for desire! While I'm not a big alcohol fan myself, I've found that their staff is great at accomidating this fact. I have no idea what was in my drink, but I can only describe the taste like a raspberry tootsie pop. This is a restuarant worth revisting over and over.
