Love having this bakery and coffee shop in this part of the west loop! Super convenient to grab something and have it at the park across the street. All the pastries that I've had were delicious. Staff are nice and seating available.

Such a cute new spot in west loop! Very speedy with the coffee! Indoor and outdoor seating too. The best part is that they are dog friendly! I didn't get a pastry but next time I have to. Everything looks delicious from ube tarts to croissants. I did get a cinnamon honey iced latte and this was just what I needed! Not too sweet yet very flavorful. The pricing is reasonable too. 6.50 for a signature latte. I also got a pup cup for $1. Such a cute spot!

I loved Bittersweet when they were at Time Out. I went to their Pilsner location but it was so far. Love this location. The person helping me was so nice. Their pastries are fantastic. The place was really warm too. They have a mystery box for $7. There's a good amount of seating.

The atmosphere is decent -- nothing fancy, but comfy enough to hang out for a bit. Service was okay, no complaints but nothing standout either. I tried a pastry and honestly? Also just okay. Prices are a bit on the pricey side, which made it feel a little underwhelming. A nice perk: after 6 PM they offer a buy-one-get-one-free deal on pastries, which definitely makes it more worth it. I liked how the place has lots of windows, giving it a bright, airy vibe. Its proximity to the West Loop is convenient, so location is a plus. Overall, it's not a must-visit for me, but it could be a nice spot if you're nearby and want a pastry .

Just stopped in and got a white chocolate pistachio matcha and it was probably the best matcha I've had in years! The barista was really nice and the shop was so cute! I would choose this place over Starbucks any! It also looks like a great place to hang out have lunch and work, or have a drink and walk the dog around the park near by! 10/10 will definitely be back with my husband as much as we can before we move!

Good to go pastries and coffee. Enjoyed the cinnamon roll heated up. Nice outdoor seating when the day is nice, a bit too green inside.

Great experience. Friendly staff and best scones in the West Loop. Will go back for sure.

Located near the Merchandise Mart and overlooking the Chicago River, this location has floor to ceiling windows with amazing views in every direction. Considering the layout, I am sure this place is frequented those who work and/or live nearby. There are plenty of table/chair combos; the perfect setup for laptop and tablet work. I stopped through on Saturday morning and there was a number of people already setup with their respective devices. They also have music playing in the background (at a very acceptable volume level) which for me, just added to the vibe. The staff, were friendly and helpful. Add to that, they did an awesome job of managing the line as it never got too long. As for drinks and food, no complaints here. It's consistent with the Blue Bottle level of quality I have come to expect and appreciate. Overall, I highly recommend checking out this location.

They have a variety of seating types for those sticking around. Overall, a positive experience!

I wasn't particularly impressed by the selection, and the freshness of the donuts left something to be desired. The presentation also took away from the experience. Seeing donuts sitting exposed in boxes where customers can easily view them isn't particularly appealing and doesn't create the freshest visual impression. I tried the maple pecan glazed donut, which was overwhelmingly sweet. Even after just one bite, the intense sugar rush was immediate and overpowering, making it difficult to enjoy the other flavors. The vanilla donut was the better of the two--pleasantly doughy, though it still lacked the freshness I was hoping for. Overall, this was an average experience. The donuts were serviceable, but neither the selection, presentation, nor freshness gave me much reason to return.
