Stopped here on our trip to Portland. Everything was great! Delicious burger, friendly and attentive waitstaff, very awesome atmosphere. The indoor section was decorated with sports memorabilia. Good spot.

Great service, awesome seared sesame tuna, fattoush salad with prawns, after pita, hummus and falafel. My husband had the 9 hour bolognese and the blueberry crumble. The outside dining was excellent with so many eclectic things to look at and marvel at, too. Like the antique motors atop the fence and the baseball bat bench, to pique your interest. We will return as we met friends there and it seemed halfway between Cumberland and Kittery. A lovely suggestion by our friend's foodie friend Deb.

Fun, funky venue for eating, drinking and live music! Hang out on Adirondack chairs listening to music while you wait for a table. Food good, portions, not too big. Not a whole lot for vegetarians but I made do with some side dishes. .

Had a late lunch here with my friend this past weekend. The place was fairly full, but we were able to get 2 seats at the bar. The bartenders/servers were super nice and attentive - I think we had Olivia and Alastair. I love a good chicken pot pie, and the Bitter End's did not disappoint. I got a heads up that the topping was puff pastry instead of a standard pie crust, but I preferred it that way. The filling was hearty and delicious without being too thick or overwhelming. It had the perfect amount of puff pastry, which was fluffy and fresh. My friend got the bolognese, which she loved. My only regret was not having enough room for the brussel sprouts - they looked and smelled amazing. Next time!

I love this restaurant. Owner and staff are awesome. Menu is limited. I recommend the chicken pot pie and spaghetti and meat balls. Eat outside and enjoy the landscape. motor motors and wooden boats. Pets are allowed in outside dinning. My grand nephew love to play yard. Lots of things to climb on.

Surprised I haven't tried nor heard of this place before! Excellent service, everyone was super friendly, possibly the best fish and chips I've ever had. I asked for Parmesan truffle fries instead of chips with the lobster roll, 10/10.

This place is amazing, so rustic to the vacationland theme, food is excellent, the service is friendly and easy, I've been here before and always enjoy my time. Indoor and outdoor seating I primarily sat outdoors.

We wanted a casual, fun, typical Maine setting for our out-of-town guests and The Catch exceeded our expectations. The food was excellent - lobster rolls, grilled swordfish tacos, mini fisherman platters and of course...New England chowder! And whoopie pies for dessert! The new backyard patio provided beautiful views of the marsh and the fire pits and cornhole games added to the ambience. Our guests had such a good time and we're still getting compliments a week later. Everyone was so accommodating and easy to work with. Service was excellent! Thank you for a fun and memorable "night before!" Looking forward to visiting next year!! Fran, Josh and Lorianne

I'd been coming here for at least 20 years, and in recent years it had been a favorite spot to eat outside when traveling with my dog. But now, we are not allowed to eat outside with a dog. Instead we had to order to-go and then walk down back to a 'dog area' which is a spot to the left of the building, below the parking area with one picnic table and some chairs in the woods. It was a beautiful sunny day, but we were getting eaten alive by no-seeums, which is not a nice experience when paying $100 for 1 meal with 6 scallops, 4 small pieces of fried fish, fries and slaw, an order of onion rings, a small clam chowder, and 2 beers. And $50 for a small lobster, an ear of corn, and an iced tea. I get that this is a tourist area, but $12 for a beer in a plastic cup and a $7.50 up charge for 6 scallops while being banished to a buggy spot that made eating very uncomfortable is a big no thank you for me. Crossing this place off my list, sadly. The upgrades and changes to this place are not a bonus at all. I'm sad that a place I always felt was friendly and welcoming is now overpriced and we all felt like we were being treated as second class citizens.

We drove down the road a bit and sat at some picnic tables overlooking the harbor to dine. It was really windy, but I was happy with my bisque. The service is quick and the line backs up so you had better know what you want when you get to the front. The gals were efficient and friendly, what more could you ask for? When it was finally our turn to enter the establishment, we were directed right to the counter to place our order. I wasn't quite ready as I was expecting table service, but I can roll with it... just felt a little awkward having to scan the menu so quickly. It was a bit odd to see 5 vacant tables when the line was 15 people out the door, but okay... again, they must have a system. Order came out shortly, no issues. Food was great! Deducted 1 Star because the bathroom was pretty sub par and didn't have a mirror. Great place to take a break and take in some local seafood in Perkins Cove.

The highlight for me is, without question, the two-foot lobster roll. It's huge, loaded with fresh lobster from end to end, and served on a perfectly soft sub roll. Every time I order it, I'm reminded why I keep coming back. It's not just a novelty because of the size. It's genuinely delicious, generously filled, and an incredible value for the amount of lobster you get. It's easily one of my favorite lobster rolls anywhere. The restaurant has a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere that's great for families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxed meal. The staff is consistently kind and attentive, and Barb always stands out. She's warm, friendly, and genuinely makes guests feel appreciated. It's refreshing to find a place that's been so consistent over multiple visits. Great food, generous portions, and people who clearly care about their customers keep me coming back. If you're in the area, don't leave without trying the two-foot lobster roll!

My parents live in New Hampshire and have been ranting and raving about this restaurant in Maine…read morewith a 2 foot long lobster roll for months, and after hearing about this thing non stop, I was finally visiting New England and just had to give this thing a shot for myself. We came here at around 5PM on a Monday, you know, prime time dinner hours, and the place wasn't too busy (it definitely got busier). This place screams New England from the second you walk in to the second you leave. The cozy environment and seafood based menu kind of makes picking what to order pretty easy, especially when a two foot long lobster roll is a menu staple, so that's exactly what I ordered. The lobster roll came with chips that I wasn't even able to touch since the giant roll and lobster consumed every inch of my stomach (I really should have gotten a smaller one). I gotta be honest here, I ordered the giant lobster roll hot and with butter and I couldn't even tell if butter was used or not. I think my main issue is how dense the roll is, at some point I had to just start taking the lobster off since the bread was so thick. Overall, Bull N' Claw is a solid seafood restaurant in a state built on sea food restaurants. I totally get why my parents love this place, but the lobster roll itself was pretty bland compared to other ones I've had in the area and I probably won't be returning on future trips to New England. The staff was great, the place looks really cool, and this place is definitely somewhere worth checking out because it might just be a favourite for you.

My Mom ordered a cup of chowder, thank goodness she didn't order the bowl because she said it was absolutely awful. To be fair, their menu does explain how theirs is different from typical chowder. My Mom said it was really watery and had no flavor. Luckily she also ordered some shrimp, whichi took a while to come out but were great. I ordered the chicken breast plain sandwich with no tomatoes, fried, and a side Caesar salad with blue cheese dressing. They brought it out with the tomato, good thing I am not allergic to tomatoes. The sandwich was great, tons of chicken and it wasn't too dry. I learned about "buckie" rolls and that they are soft and break easily. I ended up eating my chicken with a fork!! I needed more dressing and the server didn't bring in a timely fashion, the lettuce being wilted by the time she brought it. The pickle on the plate was good, but the fries were just OK. We were able to get a window seat in the bar, which made for a nice start to our Maine vacation. I would come here again, and would probably order the same thing. My mom, however, would probably not!!
