The food was also not well seasoned like 100s of past visits. My wife and I have been dining here since we bought our home in Seaside in 2015 and have always enjoyed New Garden Asian Cuisine's large portions of fresh food and fast service from Candy and her attentive staff. I have not seen Candy here in the last 3 months during 5-6 visits and I can easily attest that the food quality and service is "off" and we strongly suspect that this restaurant has changed ownership. Current staff claims Candy is on a "vacation" in New York? Consider us extremely disappointed! After our latest meal at what was once our favorite restaurant in Seaside, I will think twice about dining here again as our food was very bland and service was not attentive like it always was when Candy was running it.

There is also a good level of fish sauce. The flavor was awesome! I had the cornmeal-crusted tofu, which was excellent. The portion is also nice and large, so I was able to enjoy my pad thai a second day. We'll definitely eat here again next time we're in the area.

We ran in to pick up but I still got some photos. Food was good. We got two vegan bang mi's and they were super tasty especially the crusted tofu but we did get some super spicy jalapeño that we ended up taking out because it was overwhelming and taking away from the flavor. The clam chowder was truly so good! But the hot and sour soup was so different than what I thought I was getting and at a later point not appetizing. It was also spicy so hard to eat both items. Seemed like a quick make up, simple space and simple service.

What a fabulous addition to Molalla's eating-out choices! I've been here several times before today…read moreand each time the food has been excellent. Flavorful and delicious, Fire Foods delivers the best in Asian food here in Molalla. I haven't had their burgers yet but after reading the reviews here, I'm thinking I need to try one! In any event, with the cold grey day we are having today, a bowl of hot ramen soup was the perfect thing to send the overcast blues flying out the window. Today, I had the Veggie Ramen Soup with shrimp & egg along with a cup of jasmine flower tea. The bowl of soup was so big I had to ask for a container to take home what I couldn't eat at lunch. With big huge shrimps and a perfectly poached egg, the noodles and veggies (broccoli, cabbage, bean sprouts, carrots, onions, bok choy) hit the spot. The broth was delicious with the perfect amount of spiciness - my lips were tingling with the heat! (Tip: I asked for a "1" on the spiciness chart and it was spicy. I think it might have actually been a "2" because it was spicy! I like my food spicy but if you don't, maybe ask for a "0".) Ordering is accomplished at the counter, which is on the left when you enter the front door. When I said I needed some soup for a chilly day, the man who took my order suggested the Veggie Ramen. He then asked if I wanted to add anything to it and I requested chicken, although I got those huge beautiful shrimp. (I'll be asking for those shrimp from now on!) Prices are comparable to or less than any other place these days - veggie ramen soup was $12 and the pot of tea that I got at least 3 mugfuls out of was $2.50. Add-ons to the soup like chicken, beef or shrimp are an additional couple of bucks. All decked out for the holidays, my favorite decoration was the Grinch Christmas Tree! Fun and festive! I'll be going back soon - maybe to try a burger but I love their Asian food so it might be hard to choose.

The white curry (roasted cauliflower + coconut cream) was delicious, but did it pair well with the Brisket Burnt Ends? Not really IMO. I don't think the flavors match. I'm not exactly sure what would pair well with the white curry, maybe some veg or tofu...but BBQ fusion with the curry wasn't the best. 2 unisex restrooms available, the one I used was clean. Service was a little scattered. We got the Yu-Choy first, followed by the ceviche a few minutes later. But the Fried Chicken and White Curry took a while to come (about another 10-15 mins. to come). We were lucky to find some street parking in the neighborhood nearby.
