The service was excellent, and the food was good too. I would definitely go back. Located down the road from the beach

I was here for the first time on my birthday a few nights ago. It felt like comfort food. The two appetizers we had were really great. The fried calamari was my favorite out of the two. The shrimp pad thai I got was massive. It had a really good flavor as well, which tasted like lime, and the noodles had a great texture. The service was solid here. From start to finish, everyone was very attentive and polite. Inside, it was light and bright. There was a decent amount of room with an ample number of tables. Next time I am in town, I'll be back again to try some of the different food options. Overall, it was a charming experience.

Delicious food! Very kind staff. Small family run place with limited parking but so worth it!

Solid overall. Some takeaways: -Clam chowder decent but too salty -Hot and sour soup wasn't great, not the best flavors -Fish tacos were decent

Mandatory 15% added to take out orders. Surprise surprise when you pick up your order.

We liked the food we ordered just fine. We were less than impressed by the customer service though. A woman took our order over the phone and was helpful and welcoming. A young man greeted me while picking up the order and told me about a mandatory 15% add on which was also posted on their counter. I am a former food server and am all about tipping for service. If this is truly a policy for take out orders, that is something I should have been informed about on the phone while placing my order. Not after Ive ordered and you've cooked the items and I am hungry picking them up. It felt predatory at best. If my family weren't as hungry as they were, I would have considered walking out leaving the items for your staff to enjoy.

We just ordered appetizers for lunch because we had just gotten off the beach and wanted to get something quick and easy. The appetizers were good but the prices seemed pretty high for what I would consider something I could get at Costco and air fry myself, but I suppose I pay for the convenience. Other reviews suggested that this place was really good. I did not eat any of the entrées, I think that is my mistake.

My bf & I came in 15 mins before closing (We hate to be those people )): so sorry) but we were coming from Seattle going back home to LA so we were starving & our hotel room was around the corner so we wanted to make it before they closed. The working there was still very welcoming (: & the food there is very yummy! Definitely recommended!!

5 stars and all we had was the pad thai! And by we, I mean me and my family of 6! We all ordered either the pad thai chicken or pad thai shrimp. The service was great; everyone was friendly and we were seated so quick! The food was 100% the star of the show and as a family that came from Cali, we all have said this was the best pad thai we've ever head in cali and in oregon. they make it not sweet, more so citrusy and savory, which is what we love! the shrimp was cooked perfectly. we would not change ANYTHING about this and my sister in law even told the owner this. I cannot wait to be back, i'm just sad this place is an hour and a half away from us or i'll be going every weekend!

Beach Walk or "Beach Wok" was the first time I've ever tried Asian-American fushion! Located in Pacific City, this restaurant offers a dining experience like no other and an endearing story. This place has a great interior and ambience with fun colored plates and an option for either indoor or outdoor seating. Let's talk about the menu - there's a ton of character and personality. After I read through the menu, I was curious about the pad thai so I decided to give it a try. How it was described on the menu was accurate - it was sweet, sour, spicy, and soupy. Least favorite dish I've ever had, but this is just my opinion! We also ordered the popcorn chicken with gochujang sauce which was great and a cheese steak which was a little dry. Other than the food, the service at Beach Walk was AWESOME. The staff is friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure that every diner has a memorable experience. Don't miss out on the opportunity to experience this fusion for yourself - it was worth the experience! :)

Amazing find on our road trip down the Oregon coast. Great service. Generous portions! Kitschy setting and lots of locals showed up while we were eating so you know it's good!

Such a cool place. Food was amazing. I had tacos, my husband had the chicken sandwich, and we shared Korean meatballs. Also, ordered takeout coconut shrimp, crab ragoon, and potstickers to share with my mother in law back at the house. Everything came out quickly and was flavorful. Service was very good, too.

We sat in the upper area just behind the bar, which was fairly empty at the time. Probably a smart move by the waitress, keep the kids a bit isolated haha! It was nice, there are big windows letting lots of light in, tall ceilings with dark wood beams, and everything feels worn and comfortable. They haven't leaned too heavily into any particular theme for this place. Yes, there is fishing gear and memorabilia (hence the name) and local historical pictures and such. But they didn't over do any of it in any obnoxious way. I enjoyed the fish/crab pots re-purposed as tall tables. Anywho, we ordered for the kids first because they were positively wilting away from hunger, at least that's how they made it seem. The kids menu was so cute. If your kid says "I don't know" to asking them what they want, then they got let's say - mac and cheese. If they said "I don't like that", then they got a corn dog. (I'm not certain if those were the exact items they got for those responses but that's the gist - it was very cute). I ordered the turkey BLT, except without the T (I'm not a fan) and a Tumalo Cider. I was nervous that the focaccia might be stale but it was soft and easy to eat. My picture doesn't seem to do it justice, it was a sizable sandwich. The turkey was carver's cut and bacon was thick. I enjoyed the pesto immensely, instead of the usual condiments. It was a very good sandwich. The cider was delicious as well, very little carbonation which I prefer. Our server was very nice and accommodating to a larger group with kids. She brought us a booster seat and coloring pages and crayons for the kids, which was great!

*NOT VEGETARIAN/MEAT SENSITIVITY FRIENDLY. Incredibly poor customer service when issues arise…read more Spoke to some rude young guy at 8:54p on 6/20/2026. **UPDATE 06/27: Upon this response I am glad to have made the decision to no longer dine at this restaurant as most of what the business is claiming happened is inaccurate and being relayed to them from a now terminated employee that they are choosing to believe the narrative of versus a customers. I would imagine your phone lines are not recorded otherwise you would have verified that is not how the call played out at all. I did mispeak at the beginning of the call and tried to clarify that my order had been called in over the phone but the calltaker was too busy arguing with me to let me get a word in. I will absolutely admit to using a singular F bomb at the end of the call prior to disconnecting out of frustration, but only after being talked over, argued with and ridiculed for the entire duration of the phone call. It was at that point I realized that the man on the other side of the phone call did not respect me nor my situation and was more concerned with being right than about resolving the issue at hand. I had a long day and after driving for 8+ hours was hoping to just support a local restaurant / employees and eat some good food. Someone shouldn't have to speak to a manager to order something without an ingredient and then still be given that ingredient. I hope the next person you hire has better customer service skills. -Hey so I'm never one to leave reviews unless I feel other people could benefit from my experience, so I wanted to save someone from hopefully going through what I just went through tonight with this restaurant. I ordered a cheese enchilada with no meat, as I haven't eaten meat for almost 15 years and it makes me incredibly sick to consume it. I placed my order over the phone and everyone was incredibly nice at pickup and besides them forgetting my horchata there were no issues. (Genuinely could have cared less about this but now it's just the icing on the proverbial cake, I guess). I made sure to tip near 20% in cash, as I appreciate the hustle of the food service industry and wanted to support local. I was halfway through my enchiladas when I noticed specks of what looked like meat on the top and in the center of my food. Concerned, I called in to verify what food I had been given as I ordered cheese and had what looked to be chicken in my food. Instead of being apologetic for messing up my order, I was told "well it should be obvious if it has meat in it or not" and then when I told the person on the phone I could get sick if it's chunks of meat he then ARGUED with me about how it's pork and not chicken?? And then informed me that's "just how their green sauce is made", as if I should have had insider knowledge to that. I told him I was not informed of this and I was practically shrugged off as he argued again with me about "how it's just on top and not inside", as if I was some overreacting child who just needed to scrape the top off of the food I just paid for. (There was also meat sauce inside but I just dropped the issue). Then he "sort of" offered a solution by requesting I drive all the way back to provide in- person proof of the food, again not at all sympathetic or even remotely apologetic, even after I told him I may need to seek medical attention and was just calling so I could get info on what I consumed. I couldn't even drive back to give him the half eaten enchilada and get my money back because by the time I finally got to eat half of a dinner that will likely make me vomit, I was 45 mins south at my destination. ***What makes me so mad about this whole ridiculous event is a simple apology would have sufficed. My money back would have been nice but I just wanted to get clarification on the issue and get a freaking apology the food I paid for was screwed up and likely going to make me sick. But I was instead belittled over not knowing their kitchen recipes, despite saying multiple times over the phone "no meat". There was no confusion when the order was placed and it was read back to me multiple times, so it really just comes down to them just not caring. I expect no special treatment over my food choices but a little respect and basic human decency would have been real nice. Guess that's too much to ask for from Los Caperales. Have a better night than I'm going to

While there aren't a huge number of dining options in town, we never felt like we were settling. In fact, we looked forward to coming back each time. If you're a beer lover, you'll be in heaven. Their selection is extensive, with everything from crisp pilsners to rich stouts, making it easy to find something that suits your taste. The location is simply unbeatable. Nearly every table offers a view of the Pacific Ocean, and if you're lucky enough to grab a seat on the patio (my favorite spot), you're practically sitting on the beach. Watching the waves roll in while enjoying a meal is hard to top. Despite being incredibly busy, every server we had was friendly, attentive, and worked incredibly hard. The only minor downside was that the restaurant appeared to be a little understaffed. There were times when empty tables were visible, yet the wait was still 20-30 minutes. Honestly, though, we didn't mind. Any excuse to sit outside, people-watch, or simply stare out at the ocean is time well spent. The food was consistently excellent throughout our visits. We sampled the clam chowder, fish and chips, Backyard BBQ burger, cheeseburger, oyster shooters (both the Mignonette and Spicy Mary), and the cheese curds. My favorites were easily the clam chowder and the fish and chips--both were outstanding and exactly what you hope for when dining on the Oregon Coast. Even if beer isn't your thing, the cocktail menu is worth exploring. I ordered the Tsunami Warning, a refreshing blend of rum, pineapple and lime juices, ginger beer, and Pelican's Tsunami Stout. It's definitely a unique cocktail that won't be for everyone, but I'm glad I gave it a try. My biggest regret? Never saving room for dessert. Every time I saw one pass by our table, it looked incredible, but I was always too full to order one. That's just one more reason to come back. If you're visiting Pacific City, I highly recommend stopping by the original Pelican Brewing Company. Between the incredible oceanfront setting, excellent food and drinks, and welcoming service, it's a place that's easy to return to again and again.

We came in through the door that said please wait to be seated and as we're standing at the entrance about five or six workers were standing there looking at us and talking and we were expecting somebody to come up but instead they stood there for about 10 minutes and then when we approached one of the workers, they said, yeah you have to go to the other side to be seated which made no sense, but it didn't end there once we finally got seated we had to wait for a while to to ask to order our food and when the food came out, we were expecting hot food, but it came out lukewarm. The atmosphere was very unwelcoming.
