I have two Chinese restaurants that I have tried in the past in Tillamook ones on the east side of 101 ones on the west and they're near each other over the last few years. The food at the one on the east has gotten a little bit worse soup taste like they're using vegetable broth rather than pork or chicken broth so I've started going to Lynn's 95% of the time because they have the best hot and sour soup in the area but I felt like seafood on Friday so I ordered the shrimp chow mein and shrimp egg foo young and wow, both were probably the best Chinese takeout I've had in years. Food is excellent service is excellent and I walked in ordered at the counter sat down. They brought me a glass of water and 10 minutes later. I was getting in my car with my food. The restaurant interior is pretty much what you would expect with a Chinese restaurant but it's an impeccably clean tables are always washed off when the parties get up and leave and I think I may have found my number one restaurant in Tillamook for Asian food. read more

Highly recommend the Chicken Almond Chow Mein - it was flavorful and well prepared, absolutely amazing (!), and the Crab Puffs made a great appetizer. However, I would not recommend the General Tso's Chicken (too sweet, lacking spice) or the Sweet and Sour Chicken. We visited the lounge but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. That's what I'm talking about for American Chinese food. I was suspect of the high rating but this is darn good for American Chinese. I got the combo with fried shrimp, bbq pork, general tso, fried rice and crab puffs. The shrimp were a little small and greasy but still good enough and not offensive. Bbq park had good texture and flavor. I hate when they are too dry Fried rice has good texture, not too dry not too mushy. All the requisite items without getting too cute General tso was great. I hate when it has like a metallic taste or it's too acidic. This had the right amount of sweet heat and pungent. The general would be proud. I also liked how the chicken pieces were uniform and tender. Also a fan of the batter ratio and adherence to the chicken. Best tso tso far (see what I did there) I don't get crab puffs. I don't usually get Chinese food when I am not in a major metropolitan area with a significant AAPI population. But I needed vegetables (preferably Chinese style because I'm a little homesick) after a few days of road tripping the Oregon Coast and Lin's Restaurant popped up as one of the two only options. We ordered the tofu and mixed vegetables stir fry and the sautéed green beans. They are DELICIOUS and well portioned for the price. They 100% tasted like the restaurant take out from my old family's Chinese restaurant and I'm super happy we stopped by here! It's a teeny bit greasy but the fresh vegetables hit so hard. If you're craving Asian style veggies just like how your favorite Chinese mom and pop restaurant does it, then this is the place! It's family run, has its own parking lot, and super friendly service. Wanted to visit a restaurant after visiting the Tillamook factory. Was craving for Asian food and found found great reviews for this Chinese place. Went around 1pm and it was relatively less crowded. Parking was not an issue and the food options are typical and had a long menu. All the food we ordered, Orange chicken, Kung Pao chicken and the fried rices were flavorful and the quantity was also very good. The service here is great and very friendly. Service is very good, the ladies are super kind, very fast, and always checking in on you. The place looks like a dump on the outside but surprisingly the restroom was sparkling clean. Inside the restaurant it's clean and fine but not fancy at all. The food though, surprisingly good considering it's in Tillamook, a place knows for constant cow crap smells. Review of food only as we picked up dinner to go. For the price, you get a good amount of food. $55 got three entrees and two containers of steamed rice. It was enough for dinner plus lunch the next day. I will say the food the following day tasted better because I reheated it on the stove which boiled some of the excess water/sauce off and made the chicken a bit crispier. Food quality could be better but it tasted good. It's definitely "Americanized" style Chinese food, lots of salt, lots of sauce. Service was fine and I was greeted well upon arrival. All the food was packaged properly and was ready within 15 minutes of calling. I think upgrading their ability to take orders via an online app would be helpful just to get past language barriers. I can depend on the food tasting delicious every single time I dime at Lin's Restaurant. I recommend this Chinese American restaurant. My middle daughter was wanting Chinese food when we rolled into Tillamook. We weren't sure how it would be considering we've never been to Oregon before, but holy cow it was amazing. The sesame beef is probably the best or close to the best I've ever had. The house lo mein was pretty spectacular too. The portions were huge and we had to get to go boxes to enjoy the rest of this food at our hotel. The service from the family was spot on, they were constantly checking on us to make sure all of our needs were met. They even had a pic with the family and Andrew Zimmern from Bizarre Foods too. The weirdest thing was our fortune cookies. Mine and my oldest daughter's were spot on. Stopped in for an early dinner. My husband ordered the curry chicken and it was delicious. I ordered chicken lo mein. I nearly cleared my plate and had several bites of his curry. The staff was friendly. Comparatively speaking, the tea and egg flour soup weren't the greatest. I'm glad I trusted the other reviews for this place, we were very happy with our take-out from Lin's. The friendly staff pushed this up to five stars. The dining area is clean and bright, with a large window along one whole wall. There is also a lounge area that I did not go into; this is separated from the main dining area. My crab puffs were perfectly super crunchy with a generous ball of cream cheese in every one. The won-tons were a different texture than I was expecting and the wrappers are a little thicker than I'm used to but definitely give them a try - once I got past my expectation I really enjoyed them, especially the ginger flavor shining through. They seemed hand-made which I love; I make my own won-tons at home and I appreciate the effort it takes to do that. The orange chicken was tasty. Szechuan beef was a bit sweeter than we hoped for and not spicy (to us) so that was a little disappointing, but only a little and this whole container disappeared just as quickly as the others. Our to-go food was fresh and HOT, and they included fortune cookies, soy sauce, chopsticks, and forks, ready for a beach date! A great experience! A wonderful surprise from a little pplace everyone just flies right past. Even though we didn't know to order ahead, we placed our order over the phone from their parking lot and it was ready in less than 20 minutes. We watched about 10 other patrons come picknup orders. If this place is so popular with the locals, you know it can't be bad! So being our first time here we were blown away by the sheer number of items you could order. And you can even mix and match for a combo of your voice! Amazjng! The fining room is closed of course, but we took our food to the jetty and ate on the tailgate. The order was neatly packed in containers, tgere was plenty of sauce and cookies, and they even included eating utensils! (It may be strange to u that I was shocked by thus ....but we have experienced so many places that forget this common decency!) We ordered the coconut prawn apps, a bbq pork app, and our two dinner combos. OMG there were 10 prawns in this appetizer and what seemed like a pound of tender bbq pork! Little did we know that our combos actually came with pirk, egg drop soup and so much food we were stuffed beyond belief! I could make a meal out of the prawns and pork apps alone for Pete's sake! Great find in Tillamook from Yelp. Fast and tasty lunches. Good quality chicken for both my sweet & sour chicken and husband's chicken and broccoli. Flavorful fried rice rounded out our lunch.
