Worst $207 i ever spent. All the Food was extremely saucy. They did pile the food high but we left all of our food in our plates there. Didn't take anything home. We weren't going to eat it anyway. Pot stickers needed some more frying, the sauce was not great tasting. A new cook is a must!!! The food presentation was not inviting. I didnt take anything pictures because the food didn't look or taste good. We went in there thinking we were going to have a good dinner but left short $200 and left hungry and broke. My husband still tipped the server. She was the only descent thing there. Had dinner at the taco truck across the street. Safeway has better Chinese food than this restaurant. One four year old twin spent the whole dinner saying yum yum yummy while devouring my pork fried rice. The other twin wanted to try everything on the table and approved of it all. My 2 year old couldn't stop eating her lo mein. It was my husband's birthday and we ordered several dishes. Everything was delicious. The staff were so kind and helpful with our kids. The restaurant decor was so sweet and detailed. Love the Chinese music and lanterns. Very nice setting. Best restaurant experience I've had here at the coast. So happy to have found this gem. Not the best I have had but good value for the money. Food was served hot, fresh and piled high...be sure to come hungry, there will be leftovers. Also be aware that the sesame chicken is naked (no sauce) just has sesame seeds added to the breading. That was a bit strange, I've not previously had sesame chicken prepared this way. Also, I didn't really care for the strange orange sauce identifying as sweet and sour. Staff were pleasant and attentive. On a trip with my kids and I needed to find a bite fairly late on a Monday. We stopped in around 9 and were welcomed. Picked a booth and had very attentive service. The woman who welcomed us answered all my kids questions about their food and even went to the back to get an item to show my son exactly what was in it. The restaurant is very 90s and dated, but I loooove that aesthetic, so I think it's very cute. There's a door separating the restaurant and the lounge which was nice because it felt very family on one side. The bathroom could use some work, but it fits the rest of the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were very large. The spring rolls and egg flower soup were my favorite, the chicken & vegetables dish was also really good. read more

This little hole in the wall was pleasant surprise and now our new favorite Chinese spot in the area. A hidden gem if you will! We tried quite a few dishes on the menu and all were AWESOME. Absolutely. Amazing. This is the first Chinese place in a long time to take me seriously when I said I wanted it hot. The server looked at me and said "really?" and my wife and I said "really." And she took it seriously. I didn't even need the chili oil. Brava! Plus the crab puffs were utter heaven, and the portions were HUGE. Also, she kept bringing free stuff! Tea. Soup. Egg rolls. Now the fortunes weren't fortunes (they were aphorisms) but they never are anymore. Oh well. We'll be back! We might even come back here just because of this place. For real. read more

This place doesn't care about the food they put out. We ordered our food without any onions because of a food allergy. Not only did it come out with onions, they put them on everything. Upon calling about the issue, they tried to state we had not ordered without onions. We were offered to get our food replaced, so we took them up on the offer. We get home with the replacement food, only to discover we had less food than before. Not only was it less, they only replaced part of it. We have never been treated so poorly by a restaurant as we were by them. All I can say is if ordering take out, check it before you leave, otherwise if they have to replace anything, the rest of your food will be cold by the time you're ready to eat. I give the two star to this place! Hot and sour soup was sweet and not good! Pork fried rice was bad and no flavor!

The food we bought here was very disgusting. The meat is tasteless, like it was steamed not fried, which made it very disgusting to eat. I don't recommend this place to anyone! All their meat is very bad! We wasted a lot of money, and had to trow most of our food away, because no one just wanted to eat it... this place cooks even worse then any buffets do. Buffet's food instantly came to my mind when eating this restaurant's food, except that in buffet their food is even tastier... I don't know how the service is here, because I e didn't have time to go back to the restaurant, since we took this food out. But I do hope that the chef and who helps him will do a better job at cooking, and actually fry the meat, not steam it. read more

Really good chinese food, their portions are huge. We always like to try the family dinners and share it with our friends. But it's usually just the two of us. We always eat twice with their portions I see they were trying to be safe by wearing facemask and keeping the place clean. If I was in the area I would definitely eat here again. read more

This is the first time visiting Chinese Garden and we were so surprised at how good the food was. I say surprised, as we were disappointed by other Chinese food in the area. The portions were large and the food tasted like the ingredients within them. We had puffed shrimp and were served 14 shrimp, which we promptly finished with the hot mustard sauce. Mixed chow mein had lots of vegetables and a delicious sauce. They even make their own bbq pork, you can tell because they don't use red food coloring to make it red. A huge portion - served with the crab wontons. This Restaurant is a keeper for Tillamook, we will be back again and again. Rest rooms were spotless and the interior of the Resturant and tables were very clean. Thank you for a delicious dinner and leftovers for the next day. read more

We always give a place at least two chances in case its a one off the first time. We won't for this place. Family before us got their food and the teen who got orange chicken said it tasted wrong, the server argued. Server then offered something else, the teen declined and asked her to take it and take it off their bill. Server argued more. Dad interjected and said it tasted off to him and the others, too, please just take it off. She refused. He went up to pay for the drinks and all other meals to take to go, server argued even more and wanted to charge for everything. At that point he said he'd only pay for yhe drinks and soups since everyone had a couple bites each. More arguing with "everyone else says it's good." He's rightly pissed she wouldn't listen and eventually just pays for drinks. Looking at his table the entire time his family took may 3 bites each, everything is still piled high. Now our food. We asked what angry dragon was, then for a moment to decide. Ordered the angry dragon combo but got the first combo and it was luke warm. It wasn't worth bringing up after what we saw. read more

Friendly staff, fast food, and ridiculously good prices. The portions are so large you can easily share a plate between two or three people. In addition to your entree, each person gets an egg roll (not at all greasy), tea, and soup of choice. I recommend the egg flower soup, my favorite part about it is the crunch! The hot and sour is also very flavorful though. It is wonderful finding a place where you can arrive hungry, leave full, and not break the bank in the process. Very good flavour wit perfect mix of a crunchy batter and tender meat inside. The Triple Dragon is the perfect mix for me and my favourite. Obviously, the Pacific Northwest (especially the North Coast), doesn't set the mark for Chinese cuisine. It is all pretty much the same with minor variations in quality, flavour, and price. Most places serve what I call "Ho-Hum" Style food. Chinese Garden is the place to go if in this area. Get the combo for two, and you are promised leftovers for at least two more meals. Beer prices are the best around (regular prices are comparable to Happy Hour prices in the Astoria area). read more

I live in Vancouver area but every time we go to the coast we never miss a time to stop by and eat some Chinese food here, glad there's Chinese restaurant in the area and food is always delicious and we've been here 3 times! I'd give it a 4 for value. The restaurant itself is a little shabby, but clean and the staff is friendly. If I had one small gripe it would be that I got on piece of broccoli in my lo mein and the rest was the usual carrots onions and cabbage. Beware of Food Poisoning. We ate there during our visit to the Oregon Coast. The food tasted pretty good with generous portions. However, we got food poisoning from one of the entrees on our dish. We got massive diarrhea within two hours and was up all night in the bathroom. We sure could have used two bathrooms. Our leftovers went into the garbage. Do not ruin your vacation by getting sick at this restaurant. My husband ordered a margarita with salt on the rim. He got straight margarita mix and was charged $8.50.
