Portions were plentiful, and the food was tasty. I like the versatility of the combo (can order 2, 3 or more--most I experience only do 3+). Food came to us quickly and was delicious. My husband had the Beef Tomato Curry Noodle; he liked the broth and the noodles especially; enough spice he could taste it without burning his mouth. The service was attentive and quick. AMAZING. Stopped in here on our way home from the beach & decided to give it a try. I'm a vegetarian & I'm always worried trying new places because options tend to be limited for me..this was not the case here and I audibly got excited at the table finding an entire menu section dedicated to vegetarian options!! The general tsao tofu was unbelievably delicious..crispy, breaded & sauced just like chicken is. I was beyond happy. The sautéed string beans were delicious too! Crisp, fresh, & sauced really well in a garlic flavor with onions. Very generous portion sizes of everything & the service was top notch, always on top of everything and very fast! I ordered twice cooked pork but received barbecue pork with vegetables despite the waiter telling me that some Chinese restaurants prepare it differently when I mentioned that there was no cabbage or green onions and it was nothing like twice cooked pork. This dish had barbecue pork, broccoli, snow peas, celery and zucchini. Sorry, that's barbecue pork with vegetables. I wish the guy had just admitted the mistake. I ate it and it was just ok. The other restaurant in town apparently has the recipe down: Pork, cabbage, carrots, bamboo shoots and green onions in a spicy sauce. That's what I was looking forward to. What happened?? Two weeks ago I ordered take out. I got the usual fresh tasting food with large portions as I have gotten from other orders. Yesterday I ordered two meals, same as two weeks ago at 5:30pm. When it was brought home..yuk is all I can say. The rice was hard and old with a huge piece of egg hard as well. The Chicken chow main tasted like it came from a can, the shrimp was hard and chewie, and the sweet and sour chicken was stringy and hard. Not done yet..all of the deep fried food was obviously old and over cooked in oil that was dirty. And much much smaller portions like it was at the bottom of the pan. I used to brag about this place and I surely hope this isn't going to be the norm for $35 read more

I ordered $140+ dollars worth of food for my family when we were staying at an Airbnb and ALL of the food was delicious. It was the best Chinese food that I've had in years. Tasty Chinese in a town with minimal options. My first takeout, I ordered Szechuan chicken and was a bit disappointed. The dish is basically deep chicken with a spicy/sticky coating - a bit like sweet and sour chicken. I called and inquired and was told this is their standard recipe. All good, but NOT Szechuan chicken (chicken breast in sauce with peppers by standard Chinese restaurant recipe). I also ordered the wonton soup, which was super tasty and hit the spot on a rainy night. The portions are great for the price. My second take out, I ordered Mongolian Chicken, spicy. Excellent dish, with a healthy portion of chicken, a deliciously spicy sauce, and enough veggies to balance. I will order again when I'm back in town! read more

Ordered takeout from Lin's on a vacation through Tillamook. This was really the only place open late so I can't say it was our first pick, but I'm happy we stopped by (also thankful they weren't closed by 8 like everything else) ! Food was cooked well, not overly greasy or drowning in sugar sauce. The egg flower soup was really tasty, as well as the fried shrimp and crab puffs. Accessing the building was super easy, they have a large sign out front so you can actually see where the driveway is (for anyone with bad eyesight like myself.) Overall would definitely recommend, especially since tillamook doesn't have many options open late. read more

Not sure what kind of monster you have to be for a place like Lin's to disappoint you. Probably a monster that loathes a quick no-fuss lunch with a free scoop of salted caramel ice cream to boot. For 7.50 you get a huge plate of General Tso's and a big scoop of pork fried rice, the aforementioned ice cream, a crispy egg roll and a little bowl of hot-and-sour soup. 7.50! This is an exceptional price for an admittedly unexceptional Chinese lunch special offering, but the chicken is hot and crispy-slimy and the rice is cooked, which is all I ever want from that side of the menu anyway. That, and its prompt delivery to the half-inch glass pane above my lap. The dining area is cozy and quiet, though I can't speak for the "lounge." The waitresses don't speak much English, but they have been very pleasant in all my visits. Pay when you're ready, have a little tea to help the digestion. It's a simple system, but Lin's has it down pat. Another reviewer laments how there aren't better options for Chinese in a small town like Tillamook. Meanwhile, I dearly wish there were more joints like this on the Eastside of Portland - you don't know how good you have it, Miss B!!! read more

We have always gone to their competitor across the way. Changed things up a bit on a mate's recommendation and so glad that we did!! Dined in the lounge (quiet with fairly attentive service.) They own their own chicken farm, so anything with chicken is really eggsceptional. Fresh eggs available as well. Don't let the dated appearance fool you. Nice variety of options offered on the coolest menu with Egyptian hieroglyphs (wtf?!!). Large portions at fair prices. Pork lo-mein was a standout. All flavours were spot on. Really, really bad (Americanized) Chinese food. The egg rolls were soaked with oil, so much that they were leaking it. The hot and sour soup was neither and tasted nothing like any other hot and sour soup I've had. The service was not good. When I asked if I could get a dish with tofu, i.e., I wanted no meat, he said I could get it with tofu, but the tofu comes with shrimp. I explained I didn't want shrimp, but just tofu with the dish, and he said the tofu could come with shrimp or chicken, but not by itself. I didn't stick around for an explanation. As an aside, and in the interests of full disclosure, there are a LOT of people in Tillamook that love Lin's. I have no idea why. None. It is not good by any stretch of the imagination. I kept on trying to think of a reason how I could give it two stars, but came up with nothing. Also, the owner of Lin's bought Fei Ying's (another Chinese place in Tillamook), and I've heard it's just as bad or worse there now than Lin's. Your best bet for Chinese in Tillamook is The Chinese Garden (on North Main/101). read more
