We went here for breakfast the other day and it wasn't as great as bagel stores on the east coast. I was very happy to see pork roll on the menu, but when I received my pork roll, egg, and cheese, there was only one piece of pork roll! I could not believe that they would sell a sandwich with only one slice of meat that only covered 2/3 of the sandwich. Never in my life have I received a sandwich where the meat did not cover the entire sandwich. Dee ordered an egg and cheese with tomato which she said tasted good, but she did not like the onion bagel. Needless to say we will not be returning, especially since the cost of two breakfast sandwiches and two coffees came to $16. read more

There bagels are pretty good. My husband had the Asiago bagel with bacon egg and cheese and he really liked it! I had that French toast bagel with bacon egg and cheese. The eggs had a little bit too much pepper for me but overall my sandwhich was good. I also had the cheesecake which was really tasty! They also serve nonbreakfast items like subs, pasta, and pizza. If I could give Bite the Bagel 12/5 stars, I would. I lived in New York for 4 years, and these are the best bagels I've ever had. And as good as the bagels are, the cinnamon rolls are even better!! Every employee seems to sincerely care about their customer. The owner is super involved in day to day operations. True NJ bagels!! Bagels anywhere else but east coast are really soft but real bagels have substance to them. Really good!! I met the owner, he's usually at one of the locations, and talk with him for awhile, he's from NJ like me. Bagel sandwiches are really good and Italian sodas. I love this place for their bagels. They're actually real New York bagels as compared to the grocery store or Starbucks. But waiting 20 minutes for them to make a bagel and cream cheese is ridiculous. I always get here with at least 40 minutes to spare before I have to go to work and sometimes because of the wait, I cut it close. I love Bite the Bagel. My husband and I have been going to the Harker Heights location for morning bagels for a long time and we have recently been going to Clear Creek for lunch. They make one of the best Italian subs I've ever had, and I'm from the Northeast and have eaten A LOT of tasty subs. Their ingredients are fresh, and their service is fast and friendly. This might seem weird but it was so hard to us to find Poppy seed bagels around here! haha we don't get it at all. I mean its hard to get good bagels in general considering we came from NY but all in all this place is the closet we could find to what we like. This was our first visit here. The staff was very friendly and patient. We had bacon egg and cheese bagels. The bagels were delicious but the reason why I gave it three stars is due to the consistency of the eggs. The yolk wasn't cooked all the way through. Most places we've been to for bagel sandwiches have the egg "well done" without having to ask. My family and I like our eggs a little less runny. We'll just have to ask them to cook the eggs a little longer next time. Yes there's going to be a next time. read more

Stopped by for a quick iced coffee and bagel and wow . The coffee was a million tomes better than starbucks and my bagel was sooo good! Hands down the best bagels in town! Great food overall, doesn't matter what you order it's well priced and delicious!!! Worth the stop if you're in town or just on the go. Best to order if you have a few minutes to wait tho, since they get busy quick, but honestly worth the wait. read more
