Very tasty bagels. Authentic. Excellent price. There was a good sale & we brought back several to split & freeze.

Plain bagel, with bacon, egg and cheese.

I've been ordering the same item for a couple of months now. Located in Killeen's south side of town, right in the heart of Clear Creek Rd one can easily drive past the location if they do not know what to look for. The place is very quaint, it occupies several other businesses as well as apartments. This is also the home of the Big A** Pizza, I believe it is a 40 inch? But that's for another review. The goal is to order the sandwich and to get it when it comes hot. Otherwise, you are just eating dry cardboard with bacon, egg and cheese. This was actually the first time the sandwich was made to perfection. It was nice and hot, the even toast on the bread on both sides, the melted cheese, the perfectly cooked egg and bacon, I couldn't have asked for anything better... well I believe I could have. Being a New Yorker, I am always critical about this type of sandwich. Baconeggandcheese is a well-known commodity in NYC, and if not made properly, you will have a revolt against you. This is no NYC bagel, this is a Texas bagel. So for them trying to recreate a staple in NYC food, I believe it is very decent and will continue to buy from this establishment this very same sandwich.

Best bagels in town. Worst coffee, but Duch Bros is around the corner, so not a huge deal.

Doesn't taste very authentic. I think they need to make stuff fresh. When I got my bagel it was hard as a rock

Seems like a mom and pop shop though I am not intimate with the owners. The menu is simply delicious.

I was handed my drink cup and a number to place on my table. I had barely gotten my drink and set it on the table and the soup, salad bowl, and a plate with two corn muffins was available to pick up. The salad bar had a lot of fresh options! The iceberg lettuce, salad greens, and the spinach was fresh with no wilted pieces that I could see. To name a few, they had Kalamata olives, beets, thinly sliced cucumber and radish, artichoke hearts, pepperoncinis, many different freshly made dressings, crisp, buttery croutons and even a few desserts. There also a large variety of fountain drinks and several different tea varieties to choose from. Employees were constantly wiping down the salad bar and replenishing items. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch and will be back next time I am in the area!

Schlotzsky's at Harker Heights, TX 76548…read more The dining area was spotless, and the staff was very attentive. It's clear they truly care about customer service, which for me is something very valuable. They come across as a customer-oriented, well-established place. Let's go straight to the point about what brought me here. At first, I was a bit skeptical because I had read a review that left me with some doubts. But since I'm the type of person who prefers to judge based on my own experience, I decided to give it a try. I love cinnamon rolls, that's the main reason I came. I also wanted to give Cinnabon a fair chance to be evaluated based on my taste. I ordered a Classic Roll and a "Center of the Roll" (for those unfamiliar, it's the same cinnamon roll but cut into pieces and served in a bowl). Each was $5.59, which I found fair. The taste was exactly what you expect from a good cinnamon roll, and the bake was solid, maybe a little firm on the outside for my liking, but the inside was soft and flavorful, with the cinnamon and dough blending perfectly. You can choose to have it served hot or at room temperature; I went with hot, and it was great. The sugar cream was well-balanced and added that signature Cinnabon flavor. The only downside, and this is big for coffee lovers like us, is that they don't serve coffee here. I'm sure they have their reasons, but for me, that's the only thing keeping this from being a 5-star review. Overall, for our first visit, I was pleased and will definitely be back for more cinnamon rolls.
