Have only done the drive thru. Seems family run?? Various younger and older folks greeting you at the window. Every one of them smiling and seem to be enjoying each other's company. We've had some functions going on in the Belton area since Christmas and have had the opportunity to stop by several times each week for to-go. This will be short but I'll highlight the important stuff. Walk in and drive thru service are both available. They have a detailed long menu full of choices. I go here now for my Bavarian filled Chocolate Iced long johns. Drinks have varieties, even boba milk teas! They're not pricey. They have high quality and softness in their donuts in my opinion, compared to the chains in the surrounding areas. Plus they don't just sell donuts. OMGOODNESS, they have the best kolaches and donuts eva!!! Far better than Shipley's and Dunkin any day. Their croissants are great too. Always light, & flaky, never heavy, or greasy. Great prices, friendly service, & 2 locations. I can't speak to the ambiance, as we always hit the drive-thru, but I would definitely give them a 10/10 for their food! read more

The kolaches are really good. We went somewhere else this morning to try something different & were highly disappointed. We should've stuck to what we were happy with. Picked up some donuts this morning. I really like donuts with fillings, so I ended up getting donuts with three different kinds of fillings. The chocolate and Bavarian creams were delicious. Unfortunately the glazes were all melted by the time I was able to eat them, but they were still delicious. Cinnamon roll was okay, but it tasted more like a glazed donut than a cinnamon roll. There is not much cinnamon taste to it. The cinnamon foil tasted better after microwaving for 10-15 seconds. Will definitely stop by again for a fresh donut if I'm in the area. read more

Kolaches are the best I've ever had. Definitely better than Shipley's and the doughnuts are just as cheap. Ask for large kolaches too, they serve some massive, mouthwatering kolaches. Update: I had mentioned Shipley's in my review a while back. I update this to notify that Shipley's shut down and was replaced by a Daylight Donuts which also shut down just a few months after erecting. Yet, Jack 'n Jill's is doing just fine. When I was a kid, I remember going to Jack 'n' Jill Donuts when it was next door to B-Bar-D Western Wear on Central. Memories of those early Saturday mornings with my mom & brother will forever be with me. As I got older, I tried other donut shops out. Some made donuts that had Tang on them while others had donut hole bags made up as if they were dime bags. Call it what you will - a trip down memory lane or right place at the right time - but I've rediscovered this place. Correct me if I'm wrong, but these guys have the best sausage/cheese/jalapeno kolaches in town. They're not the size of your baby brother's hand. No, ma'am. Consistently fast friendly service and delicious FRESH kolaches! What can I say other than I'm in love! Everywhere it seemed like the quick breakfast solution was Shipley's or McDonalds! I have two little boys and one big one who are in love with the sprinkle donuts! I myself am not a donut fan but they have one of the best old fashioned donuts I've had! Their meat and cheese kolaches are my breakfast staple and they had my sweetheart at jalapeño kolache. The way to a man's heart is through his stomach and well he's in love with Jack and Jills too! Welcome to small town Belton, where there's 3 donut shops and 2 of them are Shipley's. Now I've never been a huge fan of Shipley's; I had them all the time growing up but I've always found their donuts too dense and the glaze too flaky. JNJ's is the best donut stop in Btown. The classic Glazed is light and sweet. I'd recommend the Chocolate Glazed Old Fashioned, it's pretty bomb and has a nice cake-y twist. The Cake Donuts are *GASP* not. dry. Which is quite the feat for most shops. Kolaches are OK, the bread is good but there's a bit too much of it in ratio to the filling. The prices are right, only $0.65 for a glazed and the lady behind the counter is polite. Overall I'd hit this place up over Shipley's any day! read more

I went to this location at 11am and they are open until 1pm. There was nothing left and the place looked pretty dingy.

Their prices are fair and the glazed donuts are much better than anything else you can find in Belton. The kolaches though? That's a big negative. They're overly dry and crumbly, pretty much the equivalent of eating a a 5 day old stale biscuit. I don't much care for the kolaches at shipley's, but the take the cake in comparison to these. read more

Definitely not my favorite donut...the donuts are rather small, which is fine, but the chocolate glazed I had was neither soft nor mouth-melty. The apple fritter was all surface area and no depth, so it was all crunch and no tender bite. The predominant flavor was from the sugar-coated glaze. There are a few places nearby to get breakfast, but J&J has become our favorite due to the excellent croissants and apple fritters! I mean maple long johns..! The apple fritters are the worst, don't buy them, save them all for me!! ;) Everything is great and I'm proud to have them close to home! To the guy mentioning them starting to stack chairs and make you feel rushed at 12:30 when they close at 1... It is what it is when you drag yourself out of the house at noon to go buy donuts. Can't knock them for getting a head start on cleanup after putting hundreds of smiles on your community's faces. =) Side note, prices are excellent as well. read more

Horrible filled donuts. Got the marshmallow filled and it was a hard lump of sweet icing. Got one cream cheese filled and it tasted sour... not sure what happened to this place, it was the best donut shop about 5 years ago. Will be looking for better donuts for sure.
