These are the best donuts in the United States. I am not exaggerating. You can order ahead on the App and rack some rewards points.

Do not order from this location. The quality of their food is poor and what's worse is going in to see employees in pajamas like they just rolled out of bed. When you call to speak to someone in charge, you aren't given to anyone who actually cares about quality employees or food. I'm attaching a photo of the crap I received today from Belton. I am also attaching a photo of the same roll I purchased from the West Adams location. I will never go back to Belton. West Adams is also cheaper. read more

I must say that this may be the best donuts and ham rolls I've had in as long as I can remember. The ham rollls were a surprise as I'd ordered sausage rolls. But once I bit into them I was not angry at all. Yum! Hot, fresh and yummy. I'm just glad you're not near me. read more

This place looked like a great place to stop and grab a bite, boy was I wrong. The donuts were super dry and barely frosted. I won't be returning. ‍ read more

Growing up in Belton, we always went to Jack-n-Jill Doughnuts. But they've moved to Sparta Road, leaving downtown Belton in need of a doughnut shop. This is where Shipley comes in. My first experience with Shipley was in Temple at their OLD location (in 1999) that was across the street from Scott & White. The doughnuts were good and reminded me of the ones you could get at H-E-B. As time went on, Shipley opened more locations in the Temple-Belton area and I started to frequent them more and more. While I don't live in Texas anymore, I still go here when I'm in town to visit the family. Just as my mom took my brother and I to the doughnut shop when we were kids, I take my niece to get doughnut holes on the last day of my trip. She likes having her own little bag of (one dozen) doughnut holes and small chocolate milk. I get the same thing but with a large chocolate milk. The Belton Police Dept. would probably not like the idea of me calling their bags of doughnut holes "dime bags". But they are a lot like crack because you'll want more. They don't have short straws for the small chocolate milk but if you ask, they'll cut a straw in half for you. Overall, love this place and will keep coming back when I visit. read more

Shipley Do-Nuts - Donuts Near Me - Belton, Texas

This used to be the go-to spot for consistently good donuts and kolaches. While Temple locations have historically disappointed, this one never did until this last visit. Was unpleasantly surprised with the discovery of old kolaches and donuts. I drove out and waited in line and was greeted by a seemingly overwhelmed and unhappy employee. Got home to the taste of rancid pastries and off tasting kolache meat. First thing I noticed was all the kolaches were rubbery and chewy in texture. They had obviously been nuked too many times. What is going on with this chain? A couple of locations have shut down. Service and quality in Temple and Belton have spiraled down hill. read more

Shipley Do-Nuts - the outside of the store - Donuts Near Me - Belton, Texas

Tried to like them 3 chances worth, same sad results. Received a coupon in the mail and went to the location it was mid popular time so I did not expect to have a bunch of product to choose from which was the correct result. I purchased a kolache and a donut I'm going to submit the pictures that I took of the kolaches while the dough on the first one was clearly old that it's been sat for awhile the second one the breading was not bad these are purchased commercial products that are heated up nuked whatever and rolled out as fresh cooked if not they're using commercial products to get that like a slice of cheese and a previously cooked sausage the donuts weren't bad however both HEB and Walmart serve equally better and fresher I would not recommend Shipley's. read more

I love the product, but when workers cannot understand basic English, the service suffers tremendously.

This location has really gone downhill. No doughnut holes at 9:45 on a Friday? Then the glazed doughnut you give us isn't warm which is kind of your claim to game. read more

Our family loves to come to this Shipley's for their big, buttery sausage filled yeast roll known as the sausage and cheese kolache! They are the best fresh from the oven but can also be easily reheated and taste great! Shipley's also has glazed donuts and the beloved cake donut that are always hits with our kids. Friendly and fast service make each experience pleasant when visiting the Belton Shipley's. read more

Shipley Do-Nuts - They're always so nice. And funny. - Donuts Near Me - Belton, Texas

I am giving 1 star only because of the end result. This store is ridiculous, they do not know what customer service is. I went there, asked for a variety or mixed dozen. We paid, drove out of the parking lot and began to smell a overwhelming oil stench. I opened the box of "mixed" doughnuts and realized their idea of mixed.consisted of hot greasy doughnuts on one side, and some cold squished doughnuts on the other side. This was a pathetic attempt at best, of making their food look appealing. I immediately called the store and spoke with a girl who said the manager was not in. I asked get if I would have any issues returning the doughnuts for a full refund. She stated there would be no problem and to come back up. My husband drove up and went inside just to be told that the owner wants to be there but that he won't be back for another 30 minutes! Are you kidding me?! I called the store and spike to the same girl who had just told me I would have no problems. I asked her what the issue was and what her name was...she didn't feel comfortable giving her name out on the phone,(Funny thing, when she answers the phone she said it, I just didn't catch it) so that was a blaent lie. I will say that the reason they get one star is not only because I can't give 0 but because the store on loop 121 has a very professional and customer service oriented employee who tried get best to help in any way she could. When the owner did show up he spoke with me assuring me this would be handled and refunded me the money and offered free doughnuts. I took the refund but politely declined the free doughnuts. I will just drive the extra distance and go to Jack and Jill's on Sparta. read more
