Decent food for a hotel restaurant! Suzy was awesome and makes a bomb old fashion. Sucks she wasn't there during my whole stay because none of the other servers/bartenders were as friendly and attentive.

Me and gf came kind of late and tired from parks and choose this restaurant cause of being lazy to move from our hotel Waitress so rude to us(may be we were that impudent and want meal at 10 pm). Quasadilla was dry like a hell and cobb salad i not even touched and directly sended back.(meat cold, presentation horrible, huge peaces of salad and not even heard about cuting blue cheese So so bad

I didn't expect much from the hotel restaurant but was pleasantly surprised. Great service and a quiet place to wind down from the day. Christina took great care of us, was super professional and responsive, and remembered every detail of our order from the day before. Had a great experience. Totally beats trying to find a restaurant around town. This place does this trick.

    Looks great! Tastes CRAPPY. $24.

Real good vibes. Orlando obviously has no shortage of places to eat, drink, and gather, but Alfie's belongs to that rare category of venues that feel equally at home in a major metropolis. It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list. Go after 9 or 10 PM and plan to stay for at least two hours. That's when you really see the scene develop and come alive. Bring your ID: they card at the door. Even at my age, I still get carded. No complaining about that ! lol

The energy was just right, and our server, Savannah G, made all the difference. She was warm, sharp, and so in tune with what we wanted before we even said it. We started with the Filet Carpaccio; paper-thin beef with that bold coffee spice rub, horseradish crema, and fried capers that gave it such a great crunch. The Crab Salad was next, and those jumbo lumps with pineapple and lime! So fresh, so bright. We added roasted chicken to the Squash & Burrata; the kabocha was spiced just right, and the burrata made it feel like a treat without being heavy. And the Ropa Vieja; wow. Tender braised short rib, rich sauce, and that Cuban bread on the side! My husband said it was one of the best meals he's had in a while.

They were playing classic Cuban music the entire time. The appetizers were all solid! Loved the Pastelito the most. I knocked this down one star because of my entree - the description noted it came with congri but this is definitely not congri. It was yellow rice with a handful of black beans, so that was disappointing. The flan was 10/10 & so was the Cuba Libre cocktail. We'll definitely be back, just maybe not plan my dinner around my congri craving

We looked over the happy hour menu (good all day on Monday nights and Tuesday through Friday 5-7pm). We ask Mel about the "Bartender's Choice" selection under happy hour drinks. She said the bartender will mix a drink of their preference. The customer cannot choose the alcohol or any mixers as the bartender makes the decisions all by him or herself. Mel asked if we had any allergies or any other issues that might affect the drinks the bartender would like to make. We said we did not and we decided to take on this "choice" experience. Serena was the bartender of the evening and she did an amazing job. She mixed up various concoctions for us throughout the night (we ordered a second round after the first one) and we enjoyed every drink she prepared. The presentation of the drinks were also well done. Serena's cocktails consisted of bourbon, rum, and various ingredients which could include bitters, lemon, agave or other cocktail mixers. She was the bartender extraordinaire of the evening. For food, we ordered the half dozen chicken wings (2 orders since they were so good) and the pizza empanadas to start. The two empanadas had mozzarella cheese stuffed inside and were served with a warm marinara. From the main menu, we ordered the Faroe Island Salmon, which was served on a bad of risotto and tomato butter, with capers. The portion of the salmon was somewhat small for the price of $28, but it and the risotto were cooked perfectly. We ended the night with their signature drink, "Death in the Afternoon" which contains absinthe and is one of my favorite drinks here in Orlando. It was another five star experience and my friend found a new restaurant she now loves. All in all, a great night thanks to the attentiveness and easy-going attitude of Mel, our server, and the exceptional cocktails from the bartender, Serena. Thank you both for a job very well done!

We ordered the buffalo chicken egg rolls and the deviled eggs (with no bacon) as appetizers. For our new drinks we got margaritas, I got a regular margarita and my partner got a passion fruit margarita. For entrees, I had the famous fried chicken and my hubby had the meatloaf. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, relaxed, they keep the shades lowered during the day to reduce that sun intake and it's lovely. It feels nice and relaxed in here no matter the weather outside. Again, we enjoyed the experience but the service was fairly slow. We had to pretty much know what we wanted by the next time we saw our server or flag her down to get her attention. She was waiting about 4 tables on our area. We were party of two.dd

It was literally bitter sweet, with the sweetness coming from the fruits, and the bitterness most likely from the liquor. It was still a good and refreshing drink. For the appetizer, I had to try their unique and popular pork belly s'mores. It looked like a dessert, but a sweet and savory dish. The pork belly was braised nicely and tender, with the marshmallow adding the sweetness. The homemade crackers were very nice, and the jalapeno added a nice kick. The main dish was the bourbon chicken. It was nicely tender and had a hint of sweetness from the bourbon. The rice went well with the chicken, and the broccolini was perfectly grilled. For dessert, the bread pudding with ice cream was a perfect end. Moist and delicious. It was getting full, so I was able to save some and enjoy at home too. The service was attentive with my bartender checking up with me occasionally. They were quite busy, but still friendly. The dining area looked dark and a bit more formal than last time I visited. But still social and relaxing. I didn't get to see the outdoor patio, but it looked nice from the inside. I parked at the UCF/Valencia garage, which was 3 dollars per hour. Sadly, they don't validate parking. I am so happy I ate at the Monroe for my last magical dining. It's been a while since I eaten there, but the food and drinks are still great. I must say the food was definitely high in calories, sugar, and fat, but it was well worth it. It's just that good in a very nice environment. Definitely will come again when I need southern comfort food! Overall: A

The server came around a few times to check in and they have several self serve water stations which was nice. We ordered drinks and two pizzas. Our drinks were pretty good and reasonably priced. My pizza was delicious - the regular. I really like the pepperoni and honey combo. My partner got the garden pesto pizza and it was weirdly spicy.
