I ordered their Tom Kha soup for take out the other day and unfortunately was very disappointed. It was extremely watered down, not creamy at all, and too heavy on the fish sauce. Tasted like frozen vegetables cooked in a splash of coconut milk and doused in fish oil without any of the fragrance and creaminess that is a Tom Kha soup. And for over $20! How people continue to adulterate Asian food and sell it at such egregious prices in the south is beyond me. I will never eat here again! The service wasn't great so we only left 15% tip. But when the credit card statement arrived I noticed they had added $4 to the tip! This was so dishonest and when I called they said they only had record of the cost of the food and not the total charged, when asked for a call back from the manager no one returned my calls. Just got to Nashville in June - our new favorite Thai restaurant! Pretty large patio area with a garden.... Which was a fine surprise. This time we tried Spring Rolls, Tom Kha soup & their Seafood Salad. The soup is really rich and at 2-stars we found it to be one of the best we've had. They serve a veggie version as well- not often found. The 2 spring rolls came out piping hot. The seafood on the the salad was nice for a shared weeknight meal. My boyfriend and I stopped in for a quick dinner last night. We were seated right away at the bar (tables were a ~20min wait). Here is what I have to say... Food: - We started with a warm sake and crispy eggplant. I would recommend both if you like sake + eggplant. We did have to add a touch of salt to the eggplant, but it was tasty! - We also ordered a green curry with tofu, which came with a side of rice and was really tasty. The perfect amount of spice and a really nice creamy vibe. - Definitely wanted to try the sushi - ordered a yellowtail carpaccio and salmon nigiri. Bang on, so yum. - The lovely sushi chef delivered a complimentary dish of salmon/avacado on a ball of rice with cream cheese. I personally do NOT understand why people want cream cheese in their sushi roll, but I stood corrected bc that shit was delicious (and so lovely and generous). Staff: The staff were all really lovely and masked. Really couldn't be more polite. But there were misses like the water we asked for but were never brought, the food orders that we really had to reassure them were never delivered to our table. This is where the 4 vs 5 stars come in. I have no doubt that this was due entirely to being a new place who is finding its groove. Atmosphere: They definitely didn't change much from Rudie's. I'm not sure how I feel about being served sushi in a place that has rusty license plates hanging on the wall, but thats just me. Aside from that, really good vibe. We had a decent experience at Bite a Bit. The food was good and I'm excited to have a Thai/Sushi place closer to Inglewood. Tons of outdoor seating, friendly staff, Covid safe. I'd like to try and come back when they've been open awhile longer. They don't have beer or cocktails yet, and the bar menu is very limited. The servers, while very friendly, were a bit scarce but I think they were covering a large number of tables. We will definitely come back once they've gotten into their groove. read more

So me and my fiancé prefer to Sit at the bar. As much a I prefer the bar I have now sat there 4 times and each time the experience is horrendous. The bar tender, Destiny, is smashed every time. She's more concerned with making herself and a few friends drinks than servicing the bar customers. Maybe it's because I get in after 8 and she's had a whole night of drinking ozeki nigori by the time We get there but the last two times I've gone she can barely take an order. I know we are aren't alone because aside from the 1 or two friends she's doing shots with everyone has a shared frustration in the fact that she's done 2 shots before she comes around to take an order. I can only Imagine the owners must turn a blind eye due to how hard it is to find employees currently but it's not like she's having a shot or Two she's hammered. Food here is solid so I have to think for people who want to sit at the bar they need to find somewhere else or Maybe ABC will eventually resolve it. Im all for bartender enjoying their job but they still need to be able to function and serve the bar customers who pay for their booze. Wow. I tried to come here shortly after they opened a little while back and sadly was turned away. I am soooo glad I came back and sampled the food. Without a doubt the finest basil fried rice I have ever tasted! I also tried the pad SE ew and it was stunning! I thought I would miss what was in the spot before but absolutely not! If you want an explosion of flavor you need to get yourself here right now! All the other highly reviewed Thai places will quickly be forgotten, of this I can assure you. They hit the medium level of spice right on the nose, and I have no doubt it would be authentic Thai hot if I asked for it. The only caveat is that this isn't the best place to come for beer/cocktails, but honestly the food more than makes up for it, and that is how it should be! I would have driven across town to have this flavor, and since it is nearby you better believe I will do everything in my power to make sure they succeed here. I was really excited to find this place and go with a group of friends. Being able to have the choice of Thai and Sushi is the best of both worlds when the friend group wants different foods. The restaurant had a great ambiance for a weekday and was playing great music. The interior decoration of the restaurant made it feel like a very instagrammable restaurant. As for the food, I had the Tom Yum soup, and Pad Thai and my boyfriend had sushi rolls. My friends also had sushi/sashimi and a Thai tea. I really enjoyed the flavor of my Tom Yum soup, it really had that lime flavor that I like with chunks of chicken and tomato. The Pad Thai I ordered came out looking like a masterpiece but sadly it was too sweet for my liking and couldn't finish it.If you like a tangy pad Thai this might not be the dish for you. The sushi my boyfriend had was delicious. Both of our rolls met our expectations but our friends were really impressed by how refreshing the salmon sashimi was. The Thai tea my friend had also had an icecream like flavor. Our service also met expectations but it did get very busy as it got later and got harder to flag down our server.
