Luckily, I pivoted to the vol-au-vent and had absolutely no regrets. The chicken was moist and creamy, and the pastry was incredibly flaky and light. The Flemish stew was amazing. The honey wasn't too hungry so we shared a bowl of it and the portion size was perfect, along with it being one of the most delicious stews we had while in Belgium.
