What a great find! I decided to try this restaurant for my birthday dinner and it was fantastic. The whole family agreed that it exceeded expectations. Wonderful evening with family! We sat on the patio and the impeccable service began. Genuinely kind waitress & manager (or owner). Food was cooked perfectly and served without a hitch. The salmon, which they were happy to make with a lemon butter sauce for me, was cooked to perfection. The green beans were crispy and not mushy. was sitting across from the bar by the window during closing time and I noticed that a employee was pouring hot water down the drain as I was trying to use the bathroom I didn't say anything to employe but as a plumber for 25 years I know what they are trying to do I've seen it all and pouring hot water down your drains does nothing you haft to pay a plumber to clean out your grease trap owner must be cheap to have employe pouring water in the drain and the smell that came out of the drain was terrible after the water was poured in it so I know the grease trap has to be past due for a clean out I'm sure the business makes enough money to pay a plumber to do the job right instead of having a employee do it just saying read more

My husband and I love eating here, and have ordered take out twice since quarantine has been in effect. Both meals were amazing each time and still hot when he got home. The pizza is outstanding and some of the best around. Beware, I bought a discount coupon and my bill came to $55 before tax (pickup order). The total came to $68. The restaurant used an unpublished menu with the excuse, "Our prices went up and we haven't had time to reprint them". In addition there is a credit card charge of 3% (which wasn't disclosed until I went to pay). I understand restaurants are having difficult times; however, I do not like being swindelled. I'd stay away from this place unless you don't mind being deceived and cheated. It's illegal to publish one set of prices and charge another. read more

The best up scale restaurant in Myrtle Beach. We had dinner there a few tines last year starting with New Years Eve. Their fish special are always top notch. We have had tile fish, trigger fish, and black grouper. Every meal was served with sauces and sides that matched the fish perfectly. For Mother's Day we all had different types of steak. I can honestly say they were cooked just right and they were the best steaks served at any restaurant we visited in the last few years. On April 27, 2019 we had a luncheon the day after my son's wedding so our families and close friends could get to know one another better. The setting was intimate so we could all mingle prior to the meal. The service was great, the food was phenomenal, and the price was very reasonable. Celebrated my Mother in law's birthday on Monday night. As always it was 5 stars from beginning to end. Hand crafted cocktails, fabulous apps and dinner. Even a small cake made especially for our birthday lady. The customer service is ALWAYS top notch, I had a shoe mishap and Roland even went to buy me some shoe glue! Really great food and service. I've been here about 3 times now and each time was an incredible experience. The food is pricey but if you're going out for that special night with a special someone i definitely recommend this place. I've had their salmon and tried a bite of their filet mignon and both were incredible. The portions may look small but they are very very filling. The owner is sometimes on premise and is really great with his customers. The place is a bit on the small side so if you're going with a group of people I suggest making a reservation. They have what looks like a full bar near the back of the restaurant for hangouts. For gluten intolerance and allergies they offer gluten free bread and several dishes on their menu are marked as gluten free. This is one of my favorite restaurants. Both the service and food are exceptional. Their bourbon menu is outstanding. Although not inexpensive, it is worth it. We went with some friends for a fine dinner out. As expected the cocktails, appetizers and service were excellent. The sea bass entrees and duck entree Were also excellent. I and my friend ordered bone in filets, both medium rare. When served it was apparent these were both overcooked. There was no hesitation in them taking the steaks back and cooking new ones, done perfectly. The owner, Roland came to our table to apologize and insisted on giving us dessert at no charge. This is the first time I've ever experienced this at Bistro 90 but the way it was handled and corrected is a master class in customer service. Outstanding service, reminded me of a great steakhouse in Chicago or NYC. Food was excellent - fresh, prepared perfectly and seasoned to a tee. We didn't have room for dessert, but did have salad and an entree. Two of us had the baked shrimp, one with a modification. One of us had a custom meal of linguine and scallops. I had the steak special. That was an experience as they bring raw cuts to the table to describe them. This place has great food, a little overpriced for the atmosphere. I don't mind paying a little extra for good food, but the dining area has a lot to be desired. For the price of dinner, there should be a little more privacy. The pizza is one of the better ones in the area, but when I requested fresh mushrooms instead of canned, it seemed like it was an out of the ordinary request. My husband and I chose to go to Bistro 90 to celebrate our recent marriage during our honeymoon. The entire experience was phenomenal and beyond what we could have hoped for. Our server brought us over complementary champagne to start our meal and was extremely attentive to my dietary restrictions (lactose intolerant), even checking to make sure the bread was dairy free without me having to ask. He also assured me that everything was made to order so my meal could be modified safely without any butter, etc being in the dish. It is a big relief for people with allergies to have servers that are understanding and on the ball, and I felt very comfortable knowing I could enjoy my meal without being afraid of getting sick. Much appreciated!! Now let's get to the most important part: the FOOD! The bread was warm and tasty, and could be dipped in a seasoned olive oil. We opted to pass on any additional appetizers, as my husband had ordered a huge 22 oz cowboy rib eye steak and we wanted to make sure we had room for the meat! His steak was well seasoned, perfectly medium, and he absolutely loved it. I ordered a filet mignon and it was by far the best steak I have ever had. It was completely buttery (as in texture, not ingredients, lucky for my lactose intolerant self)- cooked to medium well per my preference without losing its tenderness or flavor. Just WOW- I savored every single bite. We also ordered the brussels sprouts with pork loin- DELICIOUS, you absolutely should try them! The salty, buttery pork pieces melt in your mouth and compliment the crispy brussels to perfection. My husband somehow saved room for dessert and enjoyed the cheesecake with bananas foster on top- he said it tasted as great as it looked. The serving was definitely enough for 2 or 3 people to enjoy, and the other desserts on the menu sounded amazing as well. There is also an impressively extensive drink menu- if you are looking for a mixed drink, glass of wine, scotch, whiskey, dessert drink, they seem to have it all-- and quite a variety of each! We have been fortunate enough to eat at steak houses in many areas of New York (Buffalo, Rochester, Utica, Albany) as well as in Chicago, and this was the best we have had. The service was phenomenal, the food was absolutely divine, and overall it was an incredible dinner that made our honeymoon even more enjoyable. Our family was visiting the beach and was told about a great steak and Italian fare spot 6 miles inland...Man, are we happy we took the advice. Dry-aged steak, even the famed Tomahawk ribeye, foie gras, carbonara, and pork-belly wrapped scallops. This place is the "real deal"! The service was friendly and spot-on and the owner checked on us several times and offered a friendly 12 yr balsamic dipping sauce for our steak. Finally tried this place last night, (forget about the checking in part ) This place is legit and worth the drive to BFE. They bring out huge uncooked steaks for you to look at before ordering. Anyone of them I would have picked for my last meal on earth, but I'm not ready to go just yet, so I opted for the special of the night, blackened halibut. It was perfect. My wife and I went to Bistro 90 for our anniversary this past Saturday night. The food tasted beyond incredible, starting with amazing locally grown stuffed figs that were out of this world. We had mussels Mariana as an appetizer that was on point. For our main course I had a 16 ounce prime ribeye and my wife had the 12 ounce prime deckle steak, both cooked and seasoned to perfection and absolutely mouth watering. The wine list and cocktail menu had lots of choices and our server helped us choose a fantastic wine to go with our meal. Our dessert, a peanut butter creme brulee, was downright tasty. Our server for the evening was an amazing young woman named Amanda. She was genuinely nice, answered all of our questions and was perfectly attentive. We were extremely grateful to have her as our server. The restaurant is spotless and the lighting was perfect. The walls display a local artist with an opportunity to purchase if the art suits you. The WORST $135 Steak Dinner I Have Ever Met The waitstaff was EXCELLENT. The spinach salad was one of the best salads I have had. The 44 oz. Porterhouse Meal for two was AWFUL. It was presented with the sliced meat on corresponding sides of a healthy sized bone and the first few slices were served by our waiter. Honestly the worst cuts of meat I have EVER been served. I seriously believe the slices were the bad pieces from other steaks they may not have wanted to serve their preferred customers and they looked like they were reheated leftovers possibly from the day before ... very dry, fatty, pressed pieces of "SPAM"-steak ... and I use the term "steak" loosely. When the manager came around to check on us, I pointed out one particularly fatty piece from the FILET side. (What upscale restaurant would EVER serve a fatty filet for heavens sake?). His response was for me to let him know if I found anymore. WHAT? I knew at that point I would not be back. He did take $20 off of our meal. I have not been able to sleep because of indigestion and I feel violated both physically and mentally. Not much to add to the other reviews. This is a steak house comparable to any in any US city. While it might be pricey compared to restaurants in Myrtle/North Myrtle Beach area, we found the prices quite reasonable for the quality of both the food and the service. Had a drink in the bar first and the bartender was a real professional. Wait people at dinner were fast, nice and knowledgable. The owner is on the floor, adding to the ambience. We both had steak; best we've had (including Halls in Charleston) in the area. read more
