The cashier acted like she was in pain or something was wrong with her. Should have left then.....but we stayed and ordered 2 pancake platters with bacon. Bad move.....the pancakes were so mushy that they fell apart and had to use a spoon instead of a fork to scoop them up. The eggs were HARD but they charged an extra 50cent per egg due to the high cost of eggs right now. The food was terrible and I don't think I would try them again even thought this was my first time. My husband's pancakes were one sided...where was the bottom of the pancake???? Would not recommend this location.

Honestly this place isn't bad. It's a good addition to Greer especially once they get all their kinks out. They are on the pricey side. I got spicy chicken and honey biscuit. The chicken was pretty flat but it had a good flavor. The hashbrown casserole was good and so was their sweet tea. I think I paid almost $10 for the combo which is a little pricey imo!

I been to Biscuitville a few times over the years but recently visited the one in Greenville and nothings changed. All the food is average. Nothing has ever impressed me. Bojangles,Hardee's, Chick-fil-A, and McDonald's are better.

Stopped in here for breakfast while in Greer. Did not realize they didn't open until 9ish…read more(according to their sign). We killed some time walking around and they opened a few minutes after 9. Unique location -- right in the middle of a clothing shop! You seat yourself and waitress brought us menus immediately. I ordered the omelette with basil, tomato and mozzarella. Holy cow, the omelette was huge and fillings were plentiful. Flavor was amazing-- like eating a margherita pizza. Grits were phenomenal as well -- super creamy. Everything was hot hot hot -- grits came in a styrofoam container and I had to pour them out on my plate because they weren't cooling. Service was friendly. Prices are good. I do wonder if they put flour in their omelettes -- they seemed too fluffy and big to just be egg. Pay at the counter and you're on your way.

Once inside, I really enjoy the Downtown Greer atmosphere--the shops and the Cafe on Trade Restaurant! Our table of 4 was quickly seated, greeted, and served water. Our server introduced herself and gave us a few moments to review the menu. For a quick appetizer, we split the quiche as a table and then we ordered entrees. I went with the Fried Bologna sandwich and it was delicious! Around the table, my family all decide on the breakfast bowl. We all really enjoyed our food and service. The only thing we weren't a fan of were the dogs being in the dining area and seeing servers pet/serve the dogs...we were hopeful they would go to the back and wash their hands but we weren't able to see this step happen. We don't mind the dogs being around but not a fan of the servers interacting with the dogs.

As someone who usually feels awkward eating alone sometimes, this cafe made me feel so comfortable and welcomed the moment I walked in. The atmosphere and decor are absolutely adorable, such a cute little breakfast/brunch spot! Their breakfast menu is simple, fresh, and delicious. I ordered the "South of the Border" omelette and being half Hispanic, I LOVE chorizo, so this was right up my alley! Personally, I love a little extra spice, so next time I'll definitely be adding a jalapeño on the side (which they kindly offered). Even without it, the omelette was so flavorful and something I'd absolutely recommend trying! Everyone there was incredibly kind and kept checking to make sure everything was good. You can really tell they care about their customers and creating a welcoming environment. Definitely recommend Maggie's Cafe for breakfast, brunch with family and friends, or even a cozy solo breakfast date. I'll absolutely be back and bringing friends next time! Must try

There were three other tables with just the husband and wife working, but the food was out in less than eight minutes.. The dining room is very clean and well put together with larger round tables and lots of antique-like decor. Support local businesses. Not a huge fan of crinkle cut fries but other than that it was a decent meal for a fair price. Open from 6AM to 6PM Mon-Sat. I'd like to come back to try their new wings and eventually to try their breakfast. Closed on Sundays.

They had what appeared to be a very impressive brunch buffet that we will be trying in the future. I had the Fried Chicken (of course), Collard Greens, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy. The chicken was crispy and well seasoned with the meat staying juicy, just as it should be. The mashed potatoes were chunky and delicious, just like mom used to make them. The collard greens though. Oh Lordy those were so damn good. I could have eaten a bucket of them. My hubby had the Chicago Beef Sandwich and loved it. He also said the fries were over the top great! We will definitely be going back for more!

A Hidden Gem for Great Food and Memorable Moments!…read more I can't say enough good things about McCllean's at Monarch Café! Every dish I've had, whether breakfast, brunch, or something for a special occasion, has been consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The quality is always on point, and the customer service is exceptional. The staff is attentive, warm, and truly makes you feel like a valued guest. One of the highlights for me was attending a surprise tea party birthday celebration there. The space is versatile and charming, you can use the indoor dining area, the covered patio, or both. The patio is perfect for small gatherings, tea parties, or even dancing if the occasion calls for it! I can easily imagine even a 360 photo booth fitting out there for a fun event setup. McCllean's truly offers the full experience: great food, great atmosphere, and great people. I'm already looking forward to returning for brunch after the 4th of July reopening! Highly recommend this spot whether you're planning a special event or just want to treat yourself to a delicious meal in a lovely setting.
