Went to Eggs Ip Grill. Sat immediately. Greeted very kindly. Food was excellent. Ambiance was good. My server Candance was awesome. Loved the experience. I will return.

Shrimp and Grits Omelet (post mix) with garlic toast

The first Eggs Up location we tried had a 40min wait. This one had a large group waiting out front but since we had a small party of three we were able to snag ourselves a table. There's a sign inside that says "Please seat yourself" and when we had called they said no reservations. My advice, be prepared for a wait, especially if your party is more than 6 people. The inside was a bit on the dim side as far as lighting, especially compared to the first Eggs Up location we had stopped at. The service is on the slower side, but they also looked a little understaffed for what was a pretty hopping place. What about the food, you ask? Read on. What we got: Strawberry Lemonade Spritzer - 3* mostly tasted like lemonade. It would've been better if the fresh strawberries had been crushed more. Peaches & Cream Pancakes - 5* not sure if they use locally canned peaches or store bought canned peaches but tishter way the peaches were yumma yumma. Caramelized and paired with the cream cheese cream was a Wonder combination. The pancakes themselves were also very well made, fluffy and big. Shrimp & Grits Omelet - 5* I went out on a limb here and tried grits. In the past I've never been impressed with grits and I am so excited to know that now I do like grits! They just have to be savory. The mix of spinach, tomatoes, onion, sausage (so flavorful!), shrimp, cheese, and eggs. The cheese was a little stringy at times but hello, it's warm, melted cheese, of course it'll be stringy. And the garlic bread that came on the side was AMAZING. I used one half to scrape up the rest of the grits and it was perfection. This dish comes with two eggs and you can have the eggs prepared two separate ways! I tried soft poached and scramble and enjoyed both. Texas Farmhouse - 5* it had the perfect mix of ingredients, no one ingredient stole the show or overpowered the others. They mixed very well together but you could still taste them each individually. The hatch green chile peppers had a nice kick to the overall meal.

Great food and service. Kristina has been our waitress multiple times, and she has taken great care of us. The wait can be long on weekends, so be prepared to wait. Love the French toast and Greek omelet!

Stopped by for lunch with some friends, guess we were all feeling omelettes. Service was fast and friendly. Food hit the spot. Side of fruit was fresh. Blueberry Muffin was amazing!

They ran out of cream cheese, I ordered the usual pancakes peaches and cream. Which is nothing without its cream cheese topping. And they didn't even tell me anything about it. I would've ordered something else. And I told the waitress and she just said okay and walked away. Not very accommodating. I ordered two eggs scrambled, and it looked so pitiful on the side too. I could just be nitpicking but it was such a let down. And they weren't even willing to do anything. And I paid full on checkout. Take out some money for not having the major ingredient of a major item on a plate. Wouldn't that make sense. Why am I paying for cream cheese. When I didn't get any. Very disappointing. Considering it always hits the mark. The manager should do better in instructing their teams.

I love eggs up grill. It's always consistent and a super filling breakfast. I usually go for the farmers sampler platter thing, but I decided to go with the avocado toast last week. Was not a fan of the salsa but the avocado toast was pretty good! Also got a side of home fries.

Bacon was undercooked and cold. Priced way too high for what I got. The service was good though.

Ambience, ambience, ambience and NO tvs. Hannah was our pleasant young server; I asked Hannah to confirm that she is a lifelong resident of Spartanburg, and the pleasing Carolina voice was a moral boost. Earlier we had enjoyed the Kentucky voice of Angel- both girls were angels. Heirloom has a small menu and a small dining room, but extra large hospitality. Because of a buffet lunch, we settled on burgers - No, cannot prepare medium rare. Very possibly menu items have spent a good deal of time in the freezer. Heirloom is on our way to weeks autumn and spring at Hilton Head, so we shall revisit. Merits 5 stars (not for food) for neat dining experience.

We live in Greenville, so this was definitely outside of our usual scope. I love the name of the restaurant, the decor and atmosphere were nicely done. The staff greeted us with a smile and our server...whose name was "Creamer" was knowledgeable and very helpful. We ordered Brussels sprouts for an appetizer and mini hand made biscuits for appetizers which were pretty good. My youngest son and I both ordered Salmon (altered from the what's on the menu) sweet potato puree I ordered the corn and my son ordered asparagus, my husband ordered Gumbo and my oldest son ordered a steak. The presentation of the food was nice and the food was good, I enjoyed my meal but I tasted my husbands gumbo and we both felt that it lacked flavor...for it to be creole gumbo and a side of creamed corn (he and I could have shared that bowl...there was a lot). My oldest son felt that his steak was overpriced. Youngest son enjoyed his too. The food was good but I don't know if I'll be "rushing" to get back as there wasn't anything that just stood out to me.

After waiting, the cashier said "Hi," so I thought she was speaking to me, but she was actually answering the phone and took a full order before helping me. I also had to ask for a menu because one wasn't offered. Anywho, the restaurant felt extremely crowded with very little space between tables and walkways. Someone stepped on my foot, and another customer asked if I could give up my seat so their group could sit. The biggest issue was the packaging. My containers were placed upside down in the bag, and the butter inside the box had no lid, so it spilled everywhere and was already a mess when I opened the bag in my car. When I went back to notify the waitresses at the counter and ask for napkins, I was told the boxes were always packed upside down "on purpose," but that explanation didn't make sense since it caused the food to flip over and the butter to spill all over everything. (I have photos showing this). The food tasted good, but after everything I experienced, I won't be returning. For those curious about the cost, my receipt was $19.33 and after a $5 tip I paid $24.33 total.

We left wishing we would have gone to a waffle house or McDonalds so we wouldn't have the taste left in our mouth. Someone please help bring better places for them to go to. And the prices weren't great either! Only thing going for this place was the nice staff.

Sort of reminded me of an old diner that had be renovated to a clean upscale vibe. We ordered the steak kabobs and they were mouthwatering with flavor. My fiancee got an old fashioned and I got a rabbits foot, one of their craft gin cocktails. It was AMAZING, the gentleman's ice cube I believe was made with lavender so as it melted, your drink was even more flavorful and not watered down. He ordered the shiny duck and I the beef fillet and mashed potato. Both were also delicious, this is a farm to table spot so you know it's fresh. One thing which I didn't minus a star for was considering the price point I would think they would offer a vegetable with your meal. Few spears of broccolini or asparagus or carrots, just to make it feel a little more well-rounded of a plate. The were out of a few items being a busy day/night but we didn't mind. We will try them next go around. Our server Erin was just epic, great sense of humor and very attentive! We will be back again and make sure to sit in her section.
