This location is not as good as the one in Spartanburg. First it has less items on the menu which is disappointing. The service is really slow and there was no team work between the servers/managers. We watched our food sit under the lamps for more than 5 minutes before our server got it. Our server never checked on us until we were done with our food. Next time we're in town we'll go to the Spartanburg location because I really wanted to try the Chimm steak omelette. read more

The first Eggs Up location we tried had a 40min wait. This one had a large group waiting out front but since we had a small party of three we were able to snag ourselves a table. There's a sign inside that says "Please seat yourself" and when we had called they said no reservations. My advice, be prepared for a wait, especially if your party is more than 6 people. The inside was a bit on the dim side as far as lighting, especially compared to the first Eggs Up location we had stopped at. The service is on the slower side, but they also looked a little understaffed for what was a pretty hopping place. What about the food, you ask? Read on. What we got: Strawberry Lemonade Spritzer - 3* mostly tasted like lemonade. It would've been better if the fresh strawberries had been crushed more. Peaches & Cream Pancakes - 5* not sure if they use locally canned peaches or store bought canned peaches but tishter way the peaches were yumma yumma. Caramelized and paired with the cream cheese cream was a Wonder combination. The pancakes themselves were also very well made, fluffy and big. Shrimp & Grits Omelet - 5* I went out on a limb here and tried grits. In the past I've never been impressed with grits and I am so excited to know that now I do like grits! They just have to be savory. The mix of spinach, tomatoes, onion, sausage (so flavorful!), shrimp, cheese, and eggs. The cheese was a little stringy at times but hello, it's warm, melted cheese, of course it'll be stringy. And the garlic bread that came on the side was AMAZING. I used one half to scrape up the rest of the grits and it was perfection. This dish comes with two eggs and you can have the eggs prepared two separate ways! I tried soft poached and scramble and enjoyed both. Texas Farmhouse - 5* it had the perfect mix of ingredients, no one ingredient stole the show or overpowered the others. The food (home fries) were cold or somewhat frozen. The whole wheat toast was not baked all the way and "mushy" tasting. The waitress was ok, not great. The atmosphere was that of a breakfast place, nothing special. We had the same experience last year while visiting the area and decided to give it another shot. Won't be going back!!!! read more

They ran out of cream cheese, I ordered the usual pancakes peaches and cream. Which is nothing without its cream cheese topping. And they didn't even tell me anything about it. I would've ordered something else. And I told the waitress and she just said okay and walked away. Not very accommodating. I ordered two eggs scrambled, and it looked so pitiful on the side too. I could just be nitpicking but it was such a let down. And they weren't even willing to do anything. And I paid full on checkout. We decided to go here after loving the other locations. Staff were very friendly and helpful as soon as you walk in. Menu had many different options to choose from. I've been here twice on recommendations and I don't get it at all. Very slow, omelets both times have been below average, and both times the food has barely been warm. The breakfast potatoes must get cooked and piled up somewhere to be spooned out per order, but they clearly aren't kept warm and they should be good or eliminated. We visited on Wedneday 03/24/21 from Lexington SC. during their busy time. We were seated right away and a drink order taken immediately by the manager. She was a sweet patient woman who really had her hands full. She had new cooks and I believe waitstaff. After about 10 minutes of looking at the menu, again the manager came over to let us know our wait person was tied up and that she (the manager) would take our order. She brought our food to us in a short amount of time that we had to wait. The food was 100% correct and delicious. While sitting there eating we noticed that there were what appeared to be a lot of sales people walking out of the kitchen and sitting down for breakfast themselves. Again the Manager came over ti their table and pleasantly took their order. She ended up having more than 3 tables because it was so busy. Each time she came over to us she was cool calm and very pleasant. I was very impressed to see a person in her position take control and not lose her personality. Kudos to her and I hope her manager sees this and awards her with time off or a monetary award. She made our breakfast a very pleasant and delicious experience. read more

My husband and I were pumped there was a new breakfast spot in town. The restaurant is clean and the food came out pretty quickly. We had the eggs Benedict, waffle, eggs, bacon and biscuits and gravy. The food is pretty bland and nothing to exciting, just average. The coffee isn't that great, either. I think the most disappointing thing is that there is no bar. So, no mimosas or blood Mary's. I thought it is was going to a new brunch spot with a bar. The food is good but there is nothing more annoying than getting home and finding out some of your order is missing then driving back out there while other people eat to get the missing portion. I placed an order this morning by calling the restaurant. I waited 20 minutes and went to pick up my order. I got to the restaurant the girl asked me my call in order name. I told her and she said okay. I was waiting about 10 minutes out front. In the mean time another person comes in to pick up a call in order. The person received their food and left. After that the girl comes to say we don't have an order for you. I honestly thought you were waiting on the order that just left. You need to call the number you placed the order with and see what happened. My eggs up grill gift card was charged for food I didn't receive. I asked what about my food and the money on my gift card. Well I don't know what to tell you from the employee. When you try to call corporate to make a complaint, I couldn't get through. The situation was handled very unprofessional and management made no effort to try and find out what happened to my order or the money taken from the gift card. read more
