Service was also quick and the guy that took our order was very polite. I was so happy to see vegetarian options on the menu too and got the veggie sub! The veggies also looked great and were clearly fresh and crisp. The sandwich itself was light, yet filling. I didn't feel gross afterwards, like I do with fast food. Homemade is much better! The chips were a nice side as well. No complaints with this place.

The house chips were also pretty plain and lacked flavor. The waiter was kind, but he didn't write our order down and my sandwich came out missing the condiments I asked for. He did apologize and bring them once I mentioned it, but it's exactly why I prefer when servers write orders down. The restaurant itself looked fine inside and the food came out in a decent amount of time. However, the atmosphere felt a little uncomfortable since the kitchen is visible and it felt like staff were watching while we ate. Overall, it just didn't stand out enough for me to return.

I have made my own and have eaten NY style bagels for 50 years, and I know what I'm looking for. Especially when I see a bagel shop called "Broadway Bagels". The difference is the way these have been cooked. A NY Style bagel is shaped, refrigerated overnight, and then boiled in the morning before being baked. It changes the complexity of the crust and the dough through this process. Personally - I believe that is what makes them the best. These bagels - to the best of my knowledge, have been simply baked. They are Panera style as in Panera bread. F you like that style - go for it ! These are equally good. If you prefer NY, then I hope the owners might try the suggestion to boil before baking and see what happens. But make sure you shape and let them rise at least 8 more hrs in the fridge overnight. Just my two cents
