First time here and pleasantly surprised with the quick service despite it being very busy. Very clean. Server Jessica was on top of her game, expertly providing us with answers to our numerous first-timer questions. Sweet potato pancakes, BLT, fries, and side of bacon were delicious. Ok so we stopped by on a whim without reading reviews which I am glad we did! The place was packed and that's what peaked our interest. 10-15 min wait for 2 of us. I got the avocado Benedict and my hubby got the 1 biscuit combo. I forgot to look for the description on the Benedict if there was Canadian bacon when I got my food there wasn't. That's my bad. Coffee was really good. Service was good. The biscuits and gravy were some of the best I've had, however they were light in the sense that it wasn't a rich taste as so many others are. First time eating here, not disappointed. Even though we came in close to closing,( open for breakfast and lunch only) we were treated by friendly people and not rushed. We were going to leave because it was getting close to closing time, but they said nope we are here to serve you. The portions are very generous, I had eggs ,fried potatoes,toast and a big piece of ham steak. The prices are fair for the portions, and if you so desire ,they also serve alcohol. This place is decent. Your prices outweigh the quality of the food. Decent food but overpriced. Friendly service, however, I can get a smile at ihop also. The toast was not toasted and it was not sour dough like how I requested. Eggs were semi cold. The hash browns were warmer than the food. Overall, it was ok. Been coming here since the restaurant opened and visit at least once a week. They have always carried Coke products; however, on my visit today, discovered that they changed over to Pepsi products. Very very disappointed in this decision, as it will stop me from visiting in the future. Food is great and the staff is amazing, hence the reason for being a frequent visitor. Was excited to try this place out - but, was disappointed. The coffee tasted like water, temp could have been warmer, and finally the worst part, My partner noticed there was lip stick stain still on the cup. I'm assuming it was not thoroughly washed. Which was concerning. Food was good. There is a nice variety to choose from on the menu. I noticed all the servers were in a rush, - trying to get people in and out, which is fine because it can get quite packed and their hours are limited, but made the experience unpleasant. Family has gone there just about every Sunday after church since they opened and other occasions too. Decided to patronize them while they are closed and have been by at least once a week for a take out lunch. Yesterday I called in my usual order. When I got to the place of the person who ordered it I was embarrassed after talking up how good the Classic Club was. There were exactly 9 fries. I called and said remember me, I was in there about an hour ago for a Classic Club and there were only 9 fries in the thing She said yeah, sorry about that. And that was it. I don't think so and that is not their usual attitude. But I am done going there. $15 for a sandwich isn't cheap but her attitude was what did it for me.. We are done. read more

Food was OK. Good portion sizes. Went on Sat 04/24 around 11am. There was a 30 to 45 min wait to sit. Then we were able to order food 15 mins after sitting...but the food took a little over an hour to come out which soured the experience. The checkout process could be improved as the register/set up is in an awkward location. The long wait time to get your food could be due to staffing issues related to previous Covid shutdowns. read more

Decided to check out Biscuit's Cafe to see what all the hype was about. Can't say that I am a fan. I understand it was busy but that's not an excuse for waiting over 10 minutes to get asked what we wanted to drink or hearing over and over again that she had 100 things to do. Don't get me wrong our waitress was nice but it kinda ruins the experience when you feel their stress. Also got to witness a passive aggressive conversation between two employees ... YIKES. All of the employees that I witnessed seemed overwhelmed. Again I know it was busy but that's no excuse for professional customer service ..... someone is always listening. Went here and took family for their first time. Now i've eaten at a Biscuits Cafe before and it was good and the staff was great but it was not this one. I made a choice to go somewhere close and my decision to go here was a BAD one will not be made ever again. We ordered and got after waiting like 40mins for it and were eager to try something new. My dad is old school and when we eat out he finds a dish that's similar to one he's ordered before when he's gone out but this time him and my uncle decided to try a something new. They both got a country omelet and pancakes and it came with potatoes and gravy. They're not into gravy but liked the fact that potatoes came in the omelet. Well we started eating and not one but both were missing potatoes in the omelets. It's a main ingredient. It's like leaving out cheese in macaroni and cheese and selling it to some one who already paid for and expecting for macaroni and cheese. Not only did the manager not apologize but she didn't offer to correct the situation with replacement omelets. If you want to try Biscuits Cafe I encourage you do but NOT THIS ONE. We will not be back. The Food took over 35 min to arrive. We were told they are short two cooks when it did arrive it was just warm. The potatoes were cooked 3 days ago and reheated. Horrible. I am sorry I didn't take pictures. Toast was not cooked evenly, pancakes were mot melting the butter. Eggs were Alain on the cool side. Just sad after waiting so long. The worst part of the experience was The bathrooms, they were very dirty, and the smell was awful.They ventilation is caked with grime and dust, so they don't work. Needs a deep cleaning or new system. I walked in and walked right back out. As you walk to the restrooms, you can see inside the kitchen. Completely unorganized and dirty. Stopped in for breakfast today and what a mistake. First of all, it was freezing cold inside. I complained and the waiter told me everyone else was complaining also. Second, the waitress needs to find another job, she literally stood four feet away when taking my order. Made me feel that she was afraid of catching something. French fries suck here, have no taste and were greasy. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to spend your money at. The cold temperature inside runs with the culture inside. I would pass on this place. Its big chain food, big chain atmosphere, and big chain prices. I like others were really wanting to check out this place. We got a free day and went in. Service was good, but the place was so hot and humid that it was like a sauna. And this was on a cool day. (Glad that it wasnt August.) As soon as you open the menu, you go into shell shock. All the employees were working together and we were sat right away and greeted right away. Our food was out promptly and was super yummy! Definitely will be our go to spot from now on for brunch. I've been coming here since it opened and when it first opened, the food was amazing, the staff was great, and it was a super good place to go. Now it's crap. The food is still amazing but the service is ridiculous. There was two of us and there was a mom and daughter that came in behind us. It wasn't super busy and tables and booths were open. They seated us and the mother and daughter were next but they then seated the people who came in AFTER them first. Super rude and then our server (Lindsey) came over, took our order and left. Super quick, no small talk, straight to business. Which whatever, fine. We get our food, not even from her, mind you, and after 6 mins of us eating, comes over and says so are we done? Need some boxes? My plate is full. No I'm not ready for a box. I hate being rushed out of a restaurant especially after just getting my food. Then she proceeded to drop the check off right in the middle of both of our plates and then leaves. Super rude and clearly doesn't want to be there. Also, you could hear her speaking with other servers and they told her one of her tables didn't have an ordered dish and she had the audacity to roll her eyes and head back to the kitchen. Was very disappointed in the service and food. They sat us quick but took 10 minutes to get drinks and an additional 30 sum minutes to bring the food. They brought out my first plate cold and second plate had uncooked egg. Hash browns tasted uncooked on both plates. Not sure which was more disappointing the food or the long wait for the disappointing food. read more

I ordered my eggs over medium and this is the first time I ever received my eggs broken at a restaurant. So the quality is not where it probably should be because two people served these to me, the cook and server. This would also explains the cold hash browns on my plate. read more

Average breakfast. Decent service. I got the meat omelette which was alright except the fact they loaded it with burnt bacon. The omelette itself was packed with chopped up bacon that was obviously overdone(almost black). I was there with my small child so did not want to send back and wait for another one, just tried to eat around the bacon as much as possible. I told myself I would come back and try ordering something else since the rest of my party enjoyed what they ordered, but after trying the 59th ave location I will not be coming back. We just walked out. We got seated and 20 minutes later no one came to our table to take a drink order at least. Then people got seated after us and they were seen immediately about drinks. We sat a few more minutes and still we kept being passed. We used to love coming here. Not sure if it's under new management but this new crew is disappointing. Horrible! Ordered the 2 Biscuit Breakfast with red potatoes. For this place to be called "Biscuits Cafe", the biscuits are the sized for children! They look like a small dinner size biscuit. The red potatoes were not all the way done and they give a bunch of potatoes as if they're trying to make up to give more food since the biscuits are so small. The potatoes taste old, not fresh!! I'm so disappointed, over priced for a nasty tasting meal such as this one. Tables around seated after we were received their food before we did. Some returned food because it was cold. Coffee and water were not refilled even after asking.
