I first off I want to note how thankful that I was for this place having a good working AC. Our server was fabulous, and patient, and the food was good, I've stated that Biscuits is basically a glorified Denny's before, but all in all even though it's a chain, I still enjoyed our visit. Just a Note: To you grumpy old men who sit there griping to the servers over how expensive this place is, you need to STOP, your server has no control over the prices, nor is there anything that they can do to fix it, complaining over and over again, bringing your waiter/waitress down over something that they again HAVE NO CONTROL OVER is ridicules, it's pointless they are just there to do their job which is take your order, and deliver your food, if you don't like the prices take it to corporate, leave your poor waitress alone!!!! read more

Had an amazing breakfast experience this morning. This location has a cute little bistro feel, excellent customer service!! It was clean, homey, and tables well spaced. Prices were a little high for what we got, but we were very happy with the quality of breakfast food here. They were generous about substituting out plain side pancakes for specialty items for no extra charge, and the service was phenomenal. We will come here again. read more

We were seated, the hostess brought us our water, but the waitress walked by our table and took everyone elses order but our order even people coming in behind us we tried to wave her down but to no avail 10 minutes later we got up and walked out drove across rhe parking lot to Deneys, food was good,cheaper,and the sevice was amazing. read more

I had a terrible experience at Biscuits in Canby. It was 10:30am, so not very busy, after waiting about 8 minutes to get our order taken,we then waited about 25 minutes for our food, I asked a waitress to check to see if our order was lost. She told me that there was a rush just before we got there, and that orders where being processed in order of when they were taken. I told her that was not true, and then pointed out 2 different tables that came in long after us that were now eating. She left our table, and after waiting another 5 minutes, we got up and left. We went across the parking lot to Denny's and received great service. I have eaten at biscuits many times, and they are not the fastest, but the food is usually really good, but was ridiculous. Ever since corona the service has been below par. Food is good tho but you gotta put up a fight for it. Ordered chicken fried steak and received there "chicken fried chicken" which is just fried chicken with gravy on it. I ate my meal anyways because by this time i was starving. At the end I confronted the waitress and asked why I got chicken she said you ordered shucked fried steak not country fried steak. Ok? Checked the menu they don't even have country fried steak and the description of chicken fried steak is angus beef. Might as well just wait tell corona passes to eat here . read more

The Biscuits in OC is always busy but Canby not so much. We have found the service and food to be very good. We usually go for breakfast and it easily compares to the other well known breakfast locations in Canby - Pappy's, Top o Hill, Sugar Plum. It is our favorite by far. Used to be great, now it just sucks. Have waited forever to even be acknowledged. Really long wait for an English muffin even. We've had to go get our own coffee few times. It seems every time we've tried to use our "rewards" the computer is down or they are not able to take them. Not the money, just the insulting way they tell you "Don't worry, they don't expire." We should have known we were in for a bad experience when we sat down, ordered 2 cups of coffee and the server literally brought us 1 and a half cups of coffee (one cup was only partially filled). We waited 40 minutes for our food and it was barely warm. The people sitting next to us appeared to have waited for a while too, they also seemed frustrated but another couple came in, sat behind us and had their food in 5-10 minutes within ordering (they had the same server as us). We expressed our frustrations when we paid, only to get an insincere apology. We were told she "would let someone know", ran our card a told us to have a good day. Husband went there twice for breakfast, there was 3 customers in the not including the help...it took forever to get his food... he said all he could hear was the help in the back laughing, chatting...he had to wait 35 min for hashbrowns bacon & eggs. 7/25/19 This was my second time visiting this restaurant. My first time was amazing, great food and staff. Please dont get me wrong, the second visit the food was amazing also. The staff left allot to be desired. They were not busy, but staff wa slow and not personable. We left a 20% tip in cash and I wrote on my signed receipt tip is on table. While balancing my account today, I noticed that I was charged an additional $3. I called and the manager researched transaction. The waiter accidentally charged my card for the tip of another customer. Mixed up receipts. I was apologized to and they are holding my refund for me to pick up next time I am going though Canby. I appreciate the managers response and work. However, I will not eat here again due to the waiter's careless mistake. Pay attention to what you are doing when you are handling people's money. We work for it just as hard as you do. This could have caused problems and more expenses had I not been diligent with balancing my account read more

My wife and I wanted a good breakfast and we know Biscuits is a great place to go. I had the almond crusted French toast and it was delicious. My wife ordered scrambled eggs, Patty sausage and taters. The sausage was terrible, obviously been sitting around for a long time. It was gross and inedible. We told waitress and asked if she could bring bacon instead. No problem she said and she went to kitchen and came back with bacon in more than 2 minutes. Just looking at the bacon you could tell it too had been sitting for awhile. Why couldn't they just cook up a fresh order? This bacon was inedible as well. The scrambled eggs were rubbery you could have thrown it around like a Frisbee. They did take the order off of our bill but you can't eat the bill! This was on a weekday and there was only 3 tables occupied so they weren't busy. To the best of my knowledge I didn't order the fast and crappy option, we just wanted a good breakfast. read more

I am shocked that all of these reviews aren't five stars. I have been to their new location twice now, once with my family and once with my boyfriend. Both times they were pretty busy, and the waitresses were still very attentive to our needs and our food came out fast compared to how packed they were. No one in my family had any complaints about their food. Anyone that says this place is over priced must be pretty cheep! Mostly all of their plates are under $13 with a significant amount of delicious food. They also have an awesome rewards program. So far I have not been disappointed by the staff, food or appearance of this restaurant and I don't think I ever will be! This is one of the only places in town to get a good breakfast and okay service. 4 out of the 5 times I've been there so far I've had excellent service, above and beyond (I'm an extremely picky eater, I would be annoyed at someone like myself if I was a waitress), I try and give people the benefit of the doubt when I'm going out for breakfast because I am not a morning person. But the reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the one time I was really unhappy because of service the woman gave me, she seemed annoyed at everything I said, even when I just ordered my coffee and asked for some extra creamer. Or when I asked for a large glass of water with lemon....I got 2 small glasses of water...no lemon...I let it slide, it's early. But when I asked if I could get my eggs scrambled on my eggs benidict instead of poached (I can only stand my eggs scrambled ), she huffed and had to inform me that an eggs benidict is with poached eggs.......why arfue, just sub it for me. I then informed her everyone else has done it for me and not to bother with my order I will just drink coffee. Went there and ordered the beef brisket. I took a bite and had this sour taste in my mouth. I smelled it and asked my husband to smell it, and it had a rotting meat smell. It reminds me of the smell of a rotting animal. We told the staff there that the meat was bad and they said there seemed to be nothing wrong with it. Because it smelled sour and tasted so, had me convinced the meat had gone bad. I just can't ever go back. read more

One of the best breakfast establishments I've eatin in. Their signature coffee is really tasty. Their eggs came out perfectly cooked both times I ate there (I like them scrambled and cooked to the point they're just barely leaving some moisture under them on the plate...not dry or even browned the way some restaurants always seem to serve them). The biscuits they serve are light and fluffy (rather than the so-typical dense and dry) and are equally good with their homemade jam as they are with their TREMENDOUSLY flavorful sausage gravy. But even with all the great and perfectly-prepared food, it wouldn't even warrant the time I've taken to write this review if the service weren't as EXCELLENT as it truly is. Service-with-a-smile always (and even some pleasant small talk no matter how busy they seem). I love biscuits restaurant but I will be honest and say that this place could use a little work. The girls (staff) here seem very "clicky" a little young and need work on customer service. Maybe that's more of just an issue with today's youth in general but maybe some further training is in order? I've seen the girls give dirty looks to customers and not very approachable. This is a friendly small town and biscuits could be an amazing place to eat if you felt welcome! The food on the other hand is delicious and Christina( waitress) is fantastic and gives great service! Also, this is for the owner.... the lighting could be way brighter! The atmosphere is dark and though there is natural lighting from the windows, it's not enough! Came to this new location yesterday. Not bad, but not great. The waitresses were very friendly, and quick to take my order, and bring out drinks. I had soup and a sandwich. The soup was really good. My husband had an omlette, which he enjoyed. We were having a late breakfast/lunch, so they weren't very busy. The floors were really dirty. With all the downtime you'd figure they'd be tidying up after the rush. The food didn't blow me away, but it's definitely better than other options in town(Denny's, etc). read more

I really don't understand what all these negative reviews are about! I do agree with an earlier review about the previous attempt of Biscuits in Canby was a huge flop. This owner has more than overcome the failings of the one on the other side of town. You people who write these reviews are way too picky and need to try pleasing someone yourself for a change. I have been in this new location about 5-6 times since it's opening, and it is way better than the first location that opened a few years back in Canby. Food is great!, quantity is enormous, if you can eat all you get here, you need help! I could find something wrong anywhere I go, this place is very nice, they aren't fast, but friendly and good hot food. everyone I have taken there has enjoyed and has nothing but great things to say about the place. I have lived in Canby for 36 years and this is a welcomed eating establishment as far as I'm concerned. My wife and I are out to dine 3-5 tines a week. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, we have gone all over and still do. My family totals 28 including children and grandchildren, when it comes to eating we know a little about good food and service. This place "HAS BOTH!" they could be a bit more attentive to customers but all in all a great place to take a friend or family to breakfast or lunch. read more
