A decent biscuit: I had the sausage, egg, and cheese and it had good flavor and was a generous size. For a side I had the hash brown potato patties, which are equally generous. They were served hot and fresh from the frier, but had been hastily drained and still had too much oil clinging to them. They would not have been greasy otherwise, as they were cooked properly. The atmosphere isn't very welcoming and it looks like their focus and attitude is on the to-go orders. read more

I have been to Biscuits and More (BAM) a few times over the past few years. It's a bit of a hike for me, so I usually only visit if I am in the area or happen to have a long leisurely Saturday or Sunday morning. BAM is this whole in the wall place that is always busy. Fortunately, the line moves fast so you will not have to stand in line too long before ordering. The food comes out fairly quickly once you place your order. I have tried several of their biscuits and really enjoy how buttery and flaky they are. On my most recent visit, we had a mixture of breakfast items and lunch items since I had never tried out the lunch items. We ordered a biscuit with sausage gravy, hot dog with chili and cheese, fries, garden salad and tomato sandwich. Their biscuits and sausage gravy is really good. It is probably my second favorite in town, but my favorite place for biscuits and gravy (Ugly Biscuit over in Kennesaw) recently closed so I guess by default it is my current favorite place to get biscuits and sausage gravy in town. They provide a generous amount of gravy for your biscuits and there are large chunks of sausage mixed in. The hot dog with chili and cheese was actually very good. I should have asked for some onions to go on it because that would have made it excellent! The hot dogs are just your usual run of the mill hot dogs, but this hit the spot. I was skeptical about the salad when ordering, but was pleasantly surprised when it came out. All of the items in the salad were super fresh. The tomatoes were so delicious that it made it really excited about the tomato sandwich that had not yet arrived at our table. Finally, the tomato sandwich was really good. I have been on a tomato sandwich kick ever since Garden and Gun Club opened at the Battery. They still have the best tomato sandwich in town, but this is a close second. The tomatoes were very fresh. The only odd thing was that the cashier asked if we wanted our bread toasted or not toasted. I stared at him dumbly for a second before comprehending his question. The bread should never be toasted on a tomato sandwich. The cashier chuckled when I requested no toasted bread with a horrified look on my face. He said that he grew up eating it plain like me, but there were some oddballs out there that like their bread toasted for all sandwiches. Overall, two thumbs up for breakfast and lunch items. I will stop by again as soon as I am over in that neck of the woods. read more

Customer service is still alive and well! During the pandemic customer service has tanked! But the manager at this location has proved me wrong. I had a HORRIBLE UBER experience. The manager at this location not only listened to my issue. He took my order and remade the entire order and personally drove his vehicle to my home and hand delivered my food! If your in the area please support this business! This establishment understands customer service and how you should be treated! Hats off to management! read more

Cheese grits is consistently scrumptious. Biscuits have a good crust, light & tasty. Awesome breakfast nook!

I have traveled all over looking for the best cheeseburger.....BAM wins hands down! It is very consistent and bun is always fresh, and I like the smashed burger all the way. Fries are great too! read more

Well......it's an average suburban diner with decent average comfort food. It's looks like a wholesome family hangout with kids selling Girl Scouts cookies outside which seems nice. The biscuits are very good but the food is somewhat bland - not that it's a bad thing but it's just ok. If you are looking for a nice no frills place to have a decent meal this is the place. read more

Biscuits and More, while located in a Marietta shopping center, transported me back to the soda shops I grew up frequenting as a kid. When I went for lunch I was surprised by the food and atmosphere as I expected it to be more of a diner from the outside looking in, but as you walk inside it's completely different. You order food at the counter and they immediately go to work on the grill right behind them. I got the cheeseburger and fries and they were great! Affordable and a comfort food at its finest. I have yet to visit for breakfast but the friends who took me came back later and raved about it even more for breakfast so I will be sure to return and give it a try. If you need a quick bite for lunch and want to avoid the chains of Marietta stop in for Biscuits and More! read more

If you like cheese and grits you came to the right place. They honestly should rename this place Biscuits and Cheese Grits because that is how legendary the cheese grits are. They literally fill every crack in your stomach with a cheesy glue. I've been coming here for years and every freaking time I'm not disappointed. You order at a counter and the food service is quick and no thrills. read more

I was shocked that a place named for biscuits didn't have good biscuits. They were greasy and not flavorful. Out of everything we tried, I would only return for the cheese grits. read more

I've been eating here since the mid 2000's when it was a small galley restaurant and the menu remains consistently great. The staff is very attentive, friendly with great customer service. The cheese grits are famous and a must! I don't eat there as much as I once did just bc of a change in my living location although on many weekends, I go out of my way to grab a to go meal and enjoy. read more

This place was such a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it to the recent UYE this past weekend but took my boyfriend for his birthday breakfast here since he's a HUGE fan of biscuits an gravy. I can never relate since I'm from the Midwest but according to Tanya C. and Lindy F., this place does have the BEST sausage and gravy biscuit in town! Well, more emphasis on the gravy. And of course my guy totally agreed! I was craving a burger. Heck, when do I ever not crave red meat. Giving up red meat and pork for the month of August so this was my last chance to have a juicy burger before my personal challenge. The restaurant is tucked away in a shopping center off of Johnson Ferry Rd. but you can't miss the bright, red lettered sign. They have patio seating that outlooks the parking lot and plenty of dine in seating inside. You place your order at the front and then a server will call out your number when your food is ready and meet you half way. Service was excellent. The staff upfront taking our orders were efficient and super friendly. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. We tried everything from the coleslaw to the cheese grits. The hashbrowns were crispy and tasted just like McDonald's version but BETTER. The coleslaw was chopped with carrots and satisfied my needs at the time. I'm used to having cheese grits that come with the shredded cheese on top but their version was pretty much the best cheese grits I've come to have in the south. The cheese is blended into the grits and comes served (yellow) but is so smooth and tasty. Probably not one of the healthiest menu options but I don't think much is at this place. The sausage and eggs were tasty as well. They have a fountain machine, self serve coffee and sweet and unsweetened tea. Everything is served in a styrofoam plate or cup. Nothing fancy but you come here for the food not the plateware. Definitely highly recommended and worth the drive if you're not living or working in the Cobb County/Marietta area. They are closed on Mondays but open the rest of the week from 6-3pm. Be sure to check them out!! read more

Biscuits and More is one of those "hole in the wall" places you're looking for, where they serve up a good combination of food and hospitality. The people here couldn't be nicer. We've been eating here for a few years and have watched them expand from a single store-front to the 2 they now occupy. The food here is the equivalent of diner-fare. It's all made to order and made pretty quickly. While you won't find pancakes or French toast here, everything else both breakfast and lunch related can be ordered. Do not, under any circumstances, pass up the cheese grits. It's one of their most popular menu items. They're a bit cheesier than most, but still unbelievably good. If you're looking for a place to break up the monotony of eating out in East Cobb, this is it. read more

Biscuits and More - Cheese grits and biscuits & gravy will definitely fill you up! Pretty cheap too. - Southern Near Me - Marietta, Georgia

If I'm going to be honest, they have amazing staff that does a great job with getting you food quickly and efficiently. They are always super friendly and courteous. This place is always clean. I still feel like I'm walking into an elderly person type of restaurant, but I do like they updated the place somewhat. On that note, I had to knock them down 3 stars over food quality. While it's always hot, this is very low grade food. I can pay the equivalent (or a bit more) elsewhere and get a chicken patty and biscuit made in house! I can get grits with cheese other than kraft overload. And eggs do not have to be out of a carton when Kroger is right next to them. I've tried a few things on their menu and I haven't been wowed. You can deliver quality without choosing the lowest quality items. Even if it means paying a bit more, I'm fine with that. Just don't charge me equivalent of a Chick fil a chicken biscuit when I have to deal with a chunk of grizzle in the patty every time. Give me a reason to shop local. This place has quite the following but I feel they need to step it up a notch. Especially here in East Cobb. read more

It's like a really good bad hangover, like when you're still buzzed. The people dining are either in pajamas or their Sunday church clothes. It's like watching a nun getting a lap dance (very rare). Cheese grits and anything with a 'biscuit' added to its name and you'll thank me. Everything else is kinda what you'd expect. Don't be ordering no burgers at a biscuit joint ya hear me? read more

Apparently this place is an East Cobb staple, but maybe not for anyone the has moved here in the past decade. The food is very cheap and poor quality, the wait was very long, and it was quite overpriced. I live right near here and always pass right by it, and I ran in here for a quick burger before going food shopping one day at Kroger. $7.50 for a very thin, overcooked sliver of beef that looked like it was run over is very overpriced. The TV's all had on a NASCAR race and old school country music, and I felt a overlooked by the staff, and they were serving others before I ever got my poor-quality burger, because maybe I didn't fit their customer base. I could be reading into on this, but the food quality and service both earned 2 stars. I do want to support local restaurants and businesses during Covid, but I will not be returning here. read more

We happened to be in this area due to an event and had never really ventured this way before. We used Yelp as we were starving for a delicious breakfast. I guess we didn't read the reviews too carefully as it wasn't what we expected when we arrived. Essentially, you wait in line, order, and they call your number to deliver the meal. It reminded me of a cafeteria and there were a lot of people there so I was hoping for a delicious meal. I was definitely disappointed when everything we go was "pre-formed" - square shaped eggs and sausage patties - ew. I think I would have a better meal at Mcdonalds. My friends did like the biscuit which may have been the only thing that was really "made" and the grits were ok, but had a strange color (orange ish) - not sure if this was real cheese or what. Thus I'm giving it 2 stars or else I would say - this is not a place you want to eat if you want a "healthy/all natural" meal. Anyway, we don't come to this area and glad we don't in general. Ick! read more

WOW!! I just mopped the best biscuit with sausage gravy I have ever had in my life. The gravy was creamy and peppery with generous chunks of sausage. Put that on a delicious biscuit and it makes for one of the best breakfasts. YUM!! The cheese grits were thick and perfectly cooked but I was much too full after that yummy biscuit n gravy. The French fries that passed me while I waited for my order looked good, too. Obviously I'll be back to this eatery. Aloha y'all read more

Been our go to for breakfast biscuits for years, always good quality and friendly staff. Cheese grits are the best.

I am not one to put in a negative review typically but after seeing all the 4-5 star reviews for Biscuits and More I went to try it and felt completely mislead. I was very excited to try the cheese grits but found them to taste over buttered instant grits. There was nothing special to the biscuit (also over buttered) or the building. The front counter is littered with everyone and anyones business card that enters the building and there doesn't seem to be a huge focus on cleanliness. The prices do not match the quality in my personal opinion. We purchased two hash browns (frozen - little flavor), large cheese grits (inedible) , two biscuits (both dry - one with sausage and one with bacon- bacon wasn't even close to fully cooked) and two coffees putting us at almost $20. There wasn't anything that I was able to have more than three bites of and the breakfast ended up in the trash. I would have rather had a Chick-fil-a biscuit or something from the grocery store and saved the rest of my money. The only reason why Biscuits and More did not get one star is because the staff. They were very friendly and I have a feeling that is the normal behavior there which is hard to find in the restaurant industry. I personally do not add a lot of salt and butter to my foods in general so I may be oversensitive but I have never had to throw away food before due to excessive butter and salt. read more

Their bacon isn't always crispy. Sometimes you have to spit out the fatty parts. The biscuits are just so-so. The iced tea sure is delicious though. If you like your food simple. They have great tasting biscuits, but after my last experience there, I'm not sure I'm going back. For a long time, I'd been getting a dozen cheese biscuits "to go" and freezing them to eat for breakfast. When I was last there and placed this order -- like I have in the past -- they were completely perplexed. I explained what I wanted several times to several different people... cheese biscuits, not heated up because I was going to freeze them. When they handed me my order, which I stupidly assumed was correct and left with, the bag contained 10 frozen, uncooked, plain biscuits. In addition, I was overcharged by nearly $10. Even if I account for the cheese that wasn't on the biscuits and tax, I cannot figure out why my total was $26.87 for a large soft drink, one hot cheese biscuit to eat there, and 10 plain frozen biscuits (to go). Unfortunately, I don't still have my receipt. This was an expensive lesson in biscuit dealing. read more

Growing up in semi-rural Georgia, I enjoyed country style biscuits. Since moving to the Atlanta area 5 years ago, I haven't been able to find a place that has excellent homemade, country biscuits-- until today. I had the hot link and egg biscuit as well as the chicken biscuit. The hot link was exceptional. Definitely reminded me of being a kid and my hometown. I will totally be back here! Aside from breakfast items, they also serve grill foods, such as burgers and dogs, which I'm curious to try. 5 stars definitely! read more

Recently moved from Roswell to North East Cobb and needed a new breakfast joint to stop by on the way home from working the weekend mornings. Yelp provided me with "Biscuits and More" and it did not disappoint. Love the soda shop style atmosphere! Use to this style back in my home town in Northeast Georgia, so it's a great find this place in the bigger city/areas. Cheese grits are a must try. Told the cashier it was my first time and she gave me a sample and was great at recommendations. The Chicken biscuit was alright, but I'm eager to visit another morning and try more menu items. I have also been searching for a local burger joint, so I will be back soon to try lunch. read more

EXCELLENT! Didn't realize it was a bit of a distance from my location, but the food still arrived warm and so delicious. It reminded me of my childhood and for that I am grateful. The biscuits are baked just right. My partner stated the bagel was good and the grits were not her cup of tea, but knows someone else may enjoy them. OH AND THE HASH BROWNS ARE AMAZING!!!! Whenever my family comes to visit I will be ordering for everyone to show how good it is. Look forward to going through the menu! read more

Living in the East Cobb area the past few years has developed an appreciation for Biscuits and More (BAM) and all that it brings to the community. It's that old staple restaurant that you can always count on to give you good food at a good price with a great neighborly vibe. I don't think I've ever gone in here without running into someone I know. Biscuits are obviously the staples of this restaurant, and i would say the Sausage & Egg or Country Ham & Egg are my favorites. The star of the show in my opinion here are the Cheese Grits which are as good as I've had anywhere. I can't speak on the lunch items, but I'm sure they could knock out a good patty melt on the griddle. read more

If you are lookng for a cheap, quick, divey, breakfast or brunch, where things are OK but not thrilling, this is the place to go. You order at the register from their limited menu, the especialtt being biscuits, pay, and then sit or wait standing for the food. The service is quick and the people taking orders and serving where busy and a bit overwhelmed but pleasant. The place looks like a cafeteria from the 80's. Not much work has been done inside but it is clean, just not super visually appealing. Most guests were comprised of really old people or families with little kids. We got two coffees, two biscuits (one egg/bacon and one bacon) a chocolate muffin, a half order off harsh browns and a chicken salad on rye. The prices are unbeatable. The muffin is huge and the taste was OK but my guess not made there. Looked like Costco bought. The hash brown was a salt bomband would recommend skipping it. Again, they were not homemade, most likely bought frozen. I tend to eat and love salty but this was a bit much. The biscuits were good. The chicken salad was definitely the best. It was tasty but a bit on the small side. Again, if you are looking to satisfy your craving some biscuits and want to save a few bucks, this is a goos place for that. read more

Been there about five times and every time I felt nauseous after eating. They definitely have their regulars there so good for them. THEY COULD BE SO MUCH BETTER !! Biscuits are dry, despite the margarine/butter and tastes uncooked. Chicken biscuits are gross. Small for the price. Even the coffee was nasty. Like day old gas station coffee. Had a few other items and not at all impressed. Really the place just seems a way to employ the local High School Athletics Department/Students. Unfortunately I can't say I had a great experience here. This restaurant is located in the busy Kroger shopping center off of Johnson Ferry Rd. I was very curious to try it out. I was surprised when I walked in that there was a long line to place your order. There wasn't a constant long line, but I noticed while I was dining there that it's just long at random times, and shorter at other times. But the long line at least gave me a chance to check out their menu. We order a couple of their breakfast biscuits because I was guessing they must make really good biscuits if they are going to use that as their restaurant name. Sadly I did not enjoy my Country Ham & Egg biscuit. It tasted too salty and not very flavorful. I honestly thought to myself I could get a better biscuit at McDonald's. As for the Steak & Egg biscuit that I ordered for my son, I was expecting an actual steak, but it was more like a country fried steak, and I was a little disappointed about that as well. Needless to say, I will not be rushing back anytime soon. read more

Found this spot by accident when going to a nearby Kroger what a hidden gem home made with love great place to grab a bite !

Our family tried this place for the first time today and it was really good. Listen to the other reviews, the cheese grits are worth a try and the biscuits do not disappoint. Absolutely no way we are coming here again. Worst customer service. The place is a real hustle. Figure a faster paced version of Varsity but with no smiling faces. Eggs only 1 way. VERY Cheep food, pre-cooked bacon, gravy from a mix, frozen burger patties. The kicker was a hair on my wife's eggs. It's not expensive so you get what you pay for.
