I wanted to like this place the location is a stones throw away from my home and its been recommended to me by a couple people that I was thinking why not. BUT let tell you the food had been left a sour taste in my mouth even before eating due to the terrible service and I mean f-ing TERRIBLE!! I walked in about 1:20 PM to order my food. Was going to be a wait ok no worries understandable. When I came in to my right there was a party of like 10 people eating at the restaurant. When I came back in to get my food I asked if we can sit down and they said NO take out only. I'm there with a stroller too by the way coming in with a baby isn't exactly the easiest thing in the world and these people said no when clearly there was just a party of 10 that just left an employee was cleaning after them. I get maybe there was a language barrier and had it been close to siesta time I would have let it go. BUT as you can see from receipt from the time I order and received my food about 20 mins after ordering it was no where near 3PM. And I told the person taking the orders you just had a party and he this a-hole still said take out only. Such ridiculous racism from people. Screw this place. read more

Omg I love this place! My go to is always the tandoori fish which is seasoned to perfection, delicious, and cooked well. Their gobi manchurian is hella good, nice mix of sweet and spicy, love the sauce and the texture; cooked just right, never mushy. Also love their Chana Masala, it's fire! Ordered vijaywada biryani and chettinad chicken from them. Chettinad was mediocre but biryani was like a slap on my face. How can you keep the chicken raw in a biryani. Their staff needs help. I saw this cashier quoting 90min for pickup on the evening of December 11th 2020. He made Doordash/UberEats wait 45-50min and could not answer any phone call. No one was wearing face mask or gloves in kitchen in the back. It's too bad to see a failed execution of a business with so much potential. Seems like no one cares about running this business. I took a walk to the dollar store of some crafting stuff to keep my kiddos busy... My nose took me to this location. I've lived in the same home all my life and this is the FIRST Indian joint in this plaza. I really wish they were here a long time ago at least when I was in high school. The place is busy so you know the place is good! I ordered saag paneer and butter chicken. What I was each al la carte came with naan or rice!!! We don't find it super spicy, which is a minor bummer for me, but a plus for my wife and neighbors because they say they are able to taste the flavors of biryani better. We ordered take out from this place a few weekends ago. It was one of those large takeout orders that the Indian community in Marin places at a restaurant far away and because of the size of the order, it gets delivered all the way out here. Anyway, we had ordered a gobi Manchurian, samosa, hara bhara kebab, malai kofta, naan and gongura paneer. Let's start with the pick-up. The delivery person was completely disorganized as were all the orders. They were not labeled clearly and they weren't packed correctly. He had no idea what people had ordered, so we literally stood there at the delivery van and told him each thing in our order while he rummaged through the van looking for each individual dish!!! There were at least 15 orders that needed to be sorted through. With this chaos, you can imagine that things were missed. We didn't get the gongura paneer we ordered!! I suppose we would have felt all of this would have been okay if the food lived up to our expectations, but it did not. The samosa was okay-not amazing, but not bad. The hara bhara kebab was nothing like what it was supposed to be. It was burnt to a crisp, so I can't say anything about the flavor beyond the taste of carbon. The gobi Manchurian was okay. Nothing amazing, just okay. The malai kofta tasted fine (probably the only really flavorful thing about the entire meal), but the naan was so hard we could barely break it apart. I really don't like writing bad reviews and I am all about supporting local businesses, but this was just so poorly managed and for the first time in a long time, I really felt like we had wasted our time, energy and money.
