The best loaded fries I've literally ever had. Their tacos are absolutely insane! Come here you will not regret it or be disappointed.

Where can I start? This trio, which included an empanada, a mulita, and a quesabirria were phenomenal. The empanada had cheese in it, I didn't even ask what the filling was beforehand so I was surprised. All three had birria and cheese and the flavor was authentic. It also came with consume and a Serrano pepper that was spicy and added a nice flavor to the food. This was $16 before tax and I paired it with a medium horchata which was $5 and some change. The items were all comparable in price and they have a few options. It's small but a lot of people ordered to go while we dined in. The music playlist was spot on. The murals are beautiful and it's a chill spot. Street parking available or if you're walking on the monon stop by, it's close and worth it! read more

I am kicking myself for having taken so long to come here! At this point, you all know the story. They've been saved in my collections for a long time...blah, blah, blah, but they actually lived up to the hype! First of all, this is the cutest little spot. They are located right on the strip in Broad Ripple, which is one of my favorite walkable neighborhoods. Every item on the menu sounds good, but I opted for the Birria Ramen and the Birria Empanadas. The young woman working at the register was very kind and helpful. She answered any questions that we had and did the same for the ladies that entered the shop shortly after we'd placed our order. We sat at one of the tables and prepared for what was to come. The ramen ($16) is definitely shareable. I got, roughly, 2.5 servings out of mine. The broth/consommé was a bit fatty/oily, but in the best way possible. It was flavorFUL and the birria was tender and abundant. The fresh onions and cilantro were the perfect final touch. I usually have to add salt and pepper to dishes when I eat out, but everything here was just right. A squeeze of lime did me just fine! The empanadas were also a bit oily. Obviously, they are deep fried, but once you have the addition of the generally oily birria, then you have leakage-level oil. I said all of that to say that they were still delicious and I still ate 2 out of 3 of them. My husband had the third! More in a "all resources go toward the mission" way, which in this case meant the food, and the food delivered. I ordered the Birria Combo: one birria taco, one birria empanada, and one birria mulita. Three different vessels, one excellent filling, deployed across the plate like a well coordinated strike. The Force was clearly present in that kitchen. Everything was flavorful, well constructed, and gone faster than a starfighter clearing an asteroid field. My only issue is that the combo left me curious enough about the rest of the menu that I am already planning a return mission to investigate further. My son ordered the birria ramen, which arrived considerably larger than he anticipated. For a young man who thought he had accurately assessed the situation, this was a humbling moment, like a Padawan underestimating what the Jedi Archives actually contained. His debrief after the first few bites: impressive in size, but too salty for his personal taste. I have logged his feedback into the official record as any good commander would. Two final intelligence reports worth passing along. The menu is displayed on two large TVs above the register, which makes the ordering process smooth and painless. And the point of sale terminal, bless it, did not rotate through tip options on a takeout order. No guilt screen, no awkward button press, just a total and a thank you. In a galaxy where every counter service kiosk has started asking for twenty percent on a bag of food handed across a counter, this level of restraint is practically a Jedi mind trick working in your favor. A few years ago Yelp did an event with the food truck Birrieria had and the food was amazing. They have now opened and store front in Broad Ripple. Last I read they were having some issues with getting enough business. Today we only had a snack of Esqueties and Chips and Queso. I'm familiar with this restaurant because of their famous orange food truck located on the westside. I've been wanting to visit their new building since they opened. The building is small and there is limited seating, but it wasn't too busy when I visited. I went with the quesabirria tacos and they were served fresh. Crispy and cheesy goodness! Love when I can visit a place on my Yelp list! We visited while in Broad Ripple for a reunion. When you walk in you can feel the cultural pride as the space is filled with the amazing murals and music all around. I will say, I've learned I'm not the biggest birria fan so take my review as you will. Stopped by during lunch hour. I wanted to grab a birria taco and some corn. Unfortunately they don't sell birria tacos singly because they want you to buy them in 3's. I ended up getting the birria box that has 3 different birria items inside. They came hot and fresh and the beef inside was tender. They were good. The consomme needed a bit more flavor but.. everything was indeed fresh. The empanada in the box was just okay. The dough was way too thick. 3 barria was a bit much for me honestly. My wife and I have been waiting for months for them to open their new storefront in BR! It was so worth the wait! They forgot to add my consommé, but I was able to go back and grab it. The service was good. I have to say I did not know that you should bring cash or else you pay 3.99% more for a credit card order. that would've been helpful to know also although the the flavor was absolutely phenomenal, the tacos were so messy you couldn't even pick them up. The grease underneath the tacos just made the tacos disintegrate. I would definitely eat here again too but you should probably eat them immediately especially if you want to pick them up. Last month during my first time visiting Indiana I stopped by to get me some birria tacos late night on my way to airport! These were the BEST, FRESHEST, DELICIOUS birria tacos I've EVER had, and I do make it a point to try them in different cities I visit! Today I FLEW from ATLANTA just to have these tacos again!
