First of all, I had a great experience. When I think of a pub, this is exactly what I picture. The dark wood, the dim light, the giant Leo DiCaprio photo... wait, maybe that's atypical, but still fits nicely. Now an important note is that this not only a pub, but a gastropub, and now we have upped that ante. We are no longer talking about ordering a pint and burger, we are talking about having an experience and I will tell you 100% they do not disappoint. I have been here several times now and have loved every experience. While I have enjoyed the tacos and sliders, it was their steak fries and fish and chips that made me joyous. The first reminded me of this spot in Paris where I had steak frites for the first time and fell in love with a great steak, and the second reminded me of sitting with my cousins in Liverpool. Everything was perfectly made. To top it all off, the service was nothing short of spectacular. Quick, efficient, attentive. I've always had a great time.

Sausage & Peppers

The perfect mix of an upscale dinner spot and a casual pub. Food is amazing, the staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is great. Will definitely be back! As a side note: The stroganoff and sausage and peppers is a definite must try! And to top off for dessert is absolutely perfect

Strawberries & cream...literally only strawberries & cream without the rest of the components.

I went for brunch with a large group and the service was mostly good. My napkin was dirty and I asked two different people, four times, for a clean napkin and never got one. Thankfully, there was an extra set of silverware on the table that someone gave me. Also whoever's in the kitchen, or whoever prepares the desserts, apparently didn't think to look at the menu and see that there were four ingredients to my dessert. They initially only gave me two of them. I had to ask for the other two and basically build it myself. Having said that, I loved the atmosphere and the food, once it was correct, was delicious! I had the BHP Crunchy Friatta (their take on a frittata). It was delicious, but those Hungarian peppers were SPICY!! I had the Strawberries & cream for dessert (from the brunch menu). They literally brought me a bowl of strawberries and cream, so I told the waiter it was supposed to have granola, which he didn't know. After he left to get me the granola, I remembered it was also supposed to have a raspberry compote type thing on it. He also didn't know that.

Beef "Stroganoff"

Had a great experience overall. Food and service are good. Got the beef Stroganoff which tasted great but portion rather small especially for the price. But the chicken angel hair pasta was amazing! Large portion. Chicken super tender. Pasta had some banana peppers that made it unique but also balanced out the fatty/greasiness. Kids meal mediocre but as expected. Environment was great. Our server was super friendly! Didn't know they had free parking in the garage but that's a plus. Would probably return for the pasta.

Birmingham Cobb Salad!

It was ok. I came in around lunch time and it was super busy. I waited to get served and waited to get my food. It looks a lot nicer online than what it is really like in person. I got the Cobb salad and again it was ok. I have had better. Staff was courteous and friendly knowing how long the wait was to be served. They will validate the parking pass to park in the structure attached to the restaurant.

Very well run and cosistent. We have been here many times and had a great experience. The general manager Mr. Suvaria runs a tight ship.

I am heading to Birmingham pub, any idea where the best place to park?

You can park in the front of the building or you can park in the parking garage, which is attached to the restaurant The parking garage is 555, private parking garage…

Stopped by on a whim, and was more than pleasantly surprised!…read more Atmosphere was warm and inviting which was only complemented further by the awesome servers! Food was ON POINT! It's refreshing to see an establishment committed to quality on every level with such an extensive menu (plus the prices were very reasonable). My complements to the chef and his team for the knock out job--give that man a raise. My only gripes were that the water glasses themselves were a little petite, and I'm not a fan of suggested tip inflation (i.e., 25%, 30%...), but these were a drop in the bucket compared to the experience I had. Not only will I be back for seconds, but I'll be bringing my friends and family here in the future--I suggest you do the same. Overall: 9.7/10

Great look for a restaurant, right! No. We waited almost 15 minutes (yes. I timed it) for ANYONE to even stop at the table. Finally we had to flag someone down. She took our drink order. No water. Nothing. Another 15 minutes later...after asking "where are our drinks". We got the drinks. The drinks are not expensive and are well made, at least. Another 10 minutes later...finally..Alysa comes to take our order with no apologies...just told us "I didn't know this was my table". Takes order. Almost 1/2 hour later...a young man brings our food. We all got burgers and fries. He slaps down the plates and goes to leave. We have no silverware and no condiments. I stop him and ask for these things. I'm not kidding when I say this...he asked me "what do you mean by condiments". Now it's getting comical. "Um. We hace burgers and fries...ketchup? Mustard? A fork?? Salt? Pepper?" And as he walks away...he rolls his eyes. HE ROLLED HIS EYES". All our food was cold. Had it been hot..it would have been good. The Ham "On" Burger and Smash Burger Patty Melt looked so good. It wa good..but the burgers and fries were cold and after an eye roll..we just wanted to eat and get out of there. Never again. Horrible service. Cold food. Long wait. Never again. There's so many place to go in downtown Plymouth...this will NOT be one of them. To end...as we left...I asked to see a manger and was told there wasn't a manager there. I've been a waitress for years..there's always a manager..especially on a Saturday night so thanks for lying. Never again

Shadi has the best recommendations and is so helpful -- truly above and beyond. 10/10! On this visit, we tried the Black Rice, Farm Egg, Arancini, Rigatoni Bolognese, and Truffle Pasta -- every dish was exceptional. The rigatoni noodles are so fresh and springy they could rival (and honestly beat) any I've had in Italy. The arancini were impossible to stop eating--crispy outside, creamy inside, perfectly seasoned. The farm egg dish was unlike anything else--rich, delicate, and wonderfully balanced. And the black rice remains just as bomb as before: umami-packed, savory, and deeply satisfying.

Even walking in it was less warm and more sterile than I remember. We were sat immediately but the charm from the maitre'd was missing. Our server came straight away but didn't bother introducing himself. It all felt a little impersonal. He took our drink order and after bringing those he eventually returned to take our order. To paint a picture, I brought my girl here for our second date. Having held Forest Grill in high regard over several visits where the service, the ambiance and the cuisine were nothing less than exceptional I decided to come back because I remember the experience being nothing less than exceptional. This was not that. Our server returned to take our app order and then didn't return to take our entree order...I came ready to pull out the stops for my date, but, wah wah. Now Forest Grill has embraced a moniker of brevity relegating itself to the simplicity of Forest and with it the simplicity of something less exquisite than it once was. Finally returning we ordered a couple appetizers... the squid ink arancini stuffed with crab and the Farm Egg. For entrees, my date ordered the squash agnolotti and I had a gnocchi dish. The Farm Egg was fine but the arancini had a VERY SMALL clump of Krab meat and the squid ink didn't really add anything beyond a couple added syllables to read on the menu. The gnocchi was AOK but the agnolotti was overly al dente and just didn't taste like a Forest Grill dish. Sorry to say but this place is an afterthought to me now.

Why haven't I tried here sooner?…read more Toasted oaks is located inside of the renaissance hotel located by 12 oaks mall parking lot. There is an entrance for just the restaurant which makes it easier to enter. There is also close parking next to it. I had no wait on a Friday evening, which I'm sure isn't common, but I was also there about1 hour 30 minute - 2 hours to closing so it could be why. I was still given great service and a wonderful cooked dish. I ordered a mocktail (virgin spring in wing) that had was supposed to have smashed strawberries. I barely tasted the strawberry (I did not have some in the drink) as the soda water overpowered everything thing else. I probably should have said something, but I didn't. If I order next time I will. There were many great things on the menu, but I opted for the bone in pork chop. While I waited I did ask if they had bread service and they have corn bread. First I was like "hmmmm idk". Once it came to the table I loved it. I usually don't butter my corn bread, but I tried their butter with it and I enjoyed the pairing. It was perfectly cooked well enough how pork should be, but still tender so it wasn't dry. It had this whiskey sweet fruity glaze over it which was delicious. I would have preferred it on the side, but that's just a personal preference. The green beans weren't soggy, they had a slight crisp to them. A great flavor. I opted out of the loaded baked potato and just got a plain with butter , sour cream and chives. Overall for what I ordered I didn't think the price to be too unreasonable. However, this place can get pricy with other things on the menu. Their menu might also change because I seen photos of this place and those items weren't on the menu. I would come here again for a dinner alone, with my spouse and even with friends.
