I then watched another pizza being cut, assuming it was finally mine, but it was for that same group. I waited another 5 minutes before the employee simply said, "Sorry, yours is almost done." By this point, my "15-20 minute" wait had turned into about 35 minutes while my children sat waiting for me in a hot car. I let the employee know how unreasonable that was for a to-go order. Orders should be prepared in the sequence they're received, especially when someone has already been waiting that long. To make matters worse, when I finally got back to my car & opened the box, I was shocked. This was my 1st time ordering here, & the pizza had barely any cheese on it. After waiting 35 minutes, I expected a fresh, quality pizza, not one that looked like they were trying to save every last bit of cheese. The lack of communication, the excessive wait, & the disappointing quality made this a very frustrating experience. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. Veronica made the pizza using a hand tossed dough and uses a homemade family recipe for the sauce. The kitchen is VERY clean and tidy. The esquites was hot and fresh and the strawberries in the frescas con crema were ripe and flavorful. This is a fantastic little shop that she is running and is also offering breakfast burritos as well as other specials on the weekends. Stop in and order. She also sells pizza by the slice!

I have fond memories with good friends and family at both Sparks locations. We'd get lost in a game and catching up over too many slices of pizza and laughs. We always ask for extra sides of honey and ranch at the table. My youngest usually won't eat crust, but he makes an exception for Blind Onion crust with honey. My kids requested a large pepperoni from here. My order was ready when it was promised and still warm when I picked it up on the way home. It was delicious and I forgot how good Blind onion is. The pizza dough was perfect. The younger gentleman that helped with my pick up order was friendly, welcoming and thanked me for coming in. There were a few bigger groups in there.
