The herbs on the breadsticks meld very well with the cheese you could eat them even without the sauce and enjoy them. The pizza was very good too. The sauce and the crust have a nice flavor to them so even though I got just cheese, the pizza was delicious. Even reheated or cold out of the fridge, the pizza and breadsticks both are great to have as leftovers!

We got to the restaurant and appreciated that there was so much parking available. The inside is quirky. It was bright and open and inviting. It was pretty busy when we got there at 5:30. When I got my pizza, I ended up eating the tomato slices on their own (I sprinkled on a little salt). The toppings underneath were good - Italian Sausage, American Bacon, Mushroom, Black Olive, Fresh Tomato. The crust was so boring. If I'm going to eat carbs, I want them to be worthwhile. This crust would have been a waste of calories so I scraped off the toppings and left the crust. My pizza was a thinner crust, so I took a bite of my daughter's thick crust and I had to drink water to help get it down. Super disappointing because it looked so good! Maybe the intent is to dip it in a sauce? I don't know. Part of their claim to fame is that President Obama stopped in for a slice of pie several years ago. The picture is cool to see. I'm not in Oregon much, but I will definitely not be back to eat here again.

They're even selling slices for $8-$10! I travel a lot and often go get pizza from Chris Bianco in Los Angeles and Phoenix. His pizzas are only around $18-$25 for some of the highest rated neopolitan style pizzas in the nation. Save yourself the financial stress and drive over to Southpaw Pizza. It's much better than PizzAmore. That's what I did and I was able to get two small pizzas and a side of tots for only $25.

After we sat, a lot of locals started packing, in, and out. Even though they were so busy, the service didn't lack one bit. The women were on top of their game, and we had excellent service. The pizza was delicious, and had an amazing crust. I think we had the Benny's combo with pineapple added, and no onion on half. I took pics, but only after slices were taken. The drinks were really good! Our friendly greater came to get us promptly when our table was ready. The table was ready with fresh baked bread and butter. Our waiter was Jessie; what a gem! He was so friendly and helped us with the menu and gave excellent recommendations. We started off with the bar fries (Jessie's recommendation) wow! They were amazing not super heavy and a perfect starter. I had the special which was a NY steak, with Hatch Chili polenta. My steak was perfection and the polenta was delicious. I know there are not a lot of options in Albany for "fine dining" but this place is not worth the prices they charge.
