The burger was more like a homemade hamburger, than what you'd get at a restaurant and nothing like any hamburger I've purchased for more than twice the cost. The fries were perfect: crisp but not dry. We were so impressed we got two more burgers that night. This time we upgraded to their "Babe" burger. This time we weren't starving but we enjoyed them just as much. This place is a great example of the good parts of North Idaho: nice people, surprisingly tasty food and just a little bit rough around the edges. My family and I will be stopping by whenever we're in the area.

Every year my extended family gets together for a family X-mas near Coeur d'Alene that is in the…read moresummer or fall since we can't get together over the holidays. This year my mom discovered Praeder Ranch Resort. It was the perfect location for us. There are several family members with campers; the resort offers tent, partial and full sites to accommodate everyone. There is a lodge with wonderful rooms for everyone else (where we stayed). There is an indoor pool, an outdoor pool and a huge hot tub. Also offered is a game room, a great library, a gym and outdoor activities such as shuffle board, volleyball, basketball, frisbee golf, etc. We found trails to walk around to get some outdoor exercise. The lodge is well maintained and very clean; my wife and I very much enjoyed the indoor pool and sauna. Jeff and Tracy were wonderful and took good care of the entire extended family that was there. It's a little out of the way, but worth the trip. We shall definitely be back.

Our weekend was great as always, but made better by Tracy and Jeff the hosts of the ranch. They were so accommodating and friendly. We all gathered at a camp spot for meals and fun. This ranch was perfect since some camped and some not. I highly recommend the ranch for a peaceful get away or a large gathering. They really need to get the word spread out about this place.

Tip: bring a cozy robe and all weather slippers/sandals in case you want to spend your stay chilling in them!

The trucks who travel Hwy 95 between Moscow and Athol consistently exhibit utter disregard for other drivers on the road. Driving Hwy 95 a lot I have almost been ran off the road while doing 5mph over the speed limit as they blow past me doing 10-20mph over the speed limit hauling a full load. On 2/26/16 a driver hauling trailer 327B and license plate Idaho 4821TF leaving Cda city limits on Hwy 95 was doing 75mph passing local traffic in a 55 zone. Safety does not appear to be the drivers strong point. Watch out for the green cab tractors while sharing the road with them
