    Campsite #4

This RV park is on a working farm and was nice and quiet. There are just 7-8 RV spots in a natural setting with FHUs, and a couple are pull thru sites. The owners had delicious cookies waiting for us when we arrived, and delivered amazing scones to us the next morning! Yummm! We could walk around and see the animals, or hike up the hill behind the farm for beautiful views. A large grocery store and some restaurants are just 10 minutes away. Five minutes from Silverwood amusement park. One morning we woke up early enough to see 30 or more elk in the field 100 yards away from our campsite! Loved it, we will definitely be back.

    Farm life!

My wife and I spent 5 days enjoying Cedar Mountain Farm. We had made reservations to camp with our Jumping Jack tent trailer at site #5, and upon arrival were greeted with some amazing homemade cookies waiting for us! We proceeded to get to the know the farm a bit before heading off on our daily excursions...petting the goats, seeing the miniature Appaloosas, and meandering through the barn to see sheep and ducks. Later, we even found the rabbits. Our days were filled with visiting family, jet skiing on Lake Pend Oreille, zipling through the trees outside of Coeur d'Alene, and trying out Mennonite bakeries in Sandpoint and Bonners Ferry. We met co-owner Al, who was so much fun to talk to (unfortunately, we didn't get to meet Daryl). Camphost Vickie was amazing; she had mentioned that we might be able to see the *northern lights*, something that had somehow eluded us for decades depsite moderate effort to see them on our part. Well, we stayed up late with Vickie out in front of the farm, and were rewarded with FINALLY seeing them. THANK YOU VICKIE!!! (I'm attaching photos of the northern lights that Vickie took with her cell phone and sent to us fron the experience!). The combination of relaxing farm life and adventurous daily outings made this one of the best vacations we've ever taken. We will most certainly be back, and highly recemmend this amazing, warm, friendly sanctuary.

What a great place to stay and get away from it all. It was refreshing to have such gracious hosts, quiet surroundings and a great breakfast. I wish we had spent more than one night but we will definitely be back. There is careful thought put into all that is done at this bed and breakfast. The location is excellent, beautiful surroundings and plenty of farm for the kids too. I highly recommend staying here.

Cedar Mountain was the perfect relaxed environment our family needed to relax after a long day of Silverwood theme park. My son loved the animals, the beds were super comfy and our dog was allowed to sleep with us. Everyone was so kind and gracious. And the breakfast alone is worth the stay. Thank you so much Daryl and everyone else who made our family trip extra special.

Stayed here for a 1 year anniversary with the wife and we had a great time. The hosts here Al and Daryl are amazing people among some of the nicest you will ever meet. The house it's self is amazing and very nice inside and out that alone is worth the price to stay here. But then you add on to the fact that you have an amazing view, a farm with animals to see and some nice trails to hike on. Our room had a large jetted bath tub which was a really nice way to end our day. We then woke up to a really nice breakfast. If your gonna stay anywhere within 30 mins of here you may as well just stay in this bed and breakfast instead a hotel where your gonna pay about the same price anyway and not get all the nice things that come along with staying here. Can't say enough nice things about this place and the people who run it

What can we say about this magical place. After spending the day at Silverwood we decided to sleep nearby and found Cedar Mointain B&B. Daryl and Al were delightful as hosts and their farm is beautiful and filled with wonderful little animals that our kids adored. We will most definitely be back!

Daryl makes the place look so lovely with all the flowers and plats. Enjoy home grown fruits and veggies in your breakfast.

And, walk through them you must to check in as the smoky bar is also where you check in to the hotel, which is located directly above the saloon. We had made a reservation online and I was appreciative that they let us check in a little bit early so we could take a nap before heading off to Silverwood for the afternoon and evening. Our room was very small, featuring a double bed, an open closet area, and a small table with a coffee pot and lamp. I was grateful there was air conditioning - a window unit which worked quickly to cool off the room on a hot day. The bathrooms here are shared, so you have to leave your room to use them - they were clean when we arrived (and looked recently remodeled), but by the next morning were pretty messy after other guests had finished their morning routines. There were no instructions on where to find extra bath towels so we ended up having to share the last remaining clean one. Our room only had one outlet, which was also shared by the lamp and air conditioner, so charging our phones was difficult when we arrived back late that night after experiencing Silverwood. There was also a lot of noise from the saloon below us, but we were tired so fell asleep quickly. Although I did sleep fitfully as I didn't feel this was the safest experience: even late at night, the door to the saloon was open so patrons could easily have come up to the hotel level - and there was only a small doorknob lock on our room. No deadbolt! The White Horse was an experience for sure. The rates were cheap, and the room was clean. But due to the safety factor I'm not sure I would stay here again.

The house and grounds are magnificent, the service warm but discrete. Items that in name brand properties you get charged for are gratis here, without asking. It is so nice to wake up to a flavorful strong cup of coffee in the morning, this makes the stay worth it right there. The beds are big, comfortable with high end linen. The bathrooms are big, huge, with terrycloth robes and Egyptian towels. Wifi is great with very good speed (35Mb/s avg.). I've stayed in three different rooms and all had their own warm personality and classic touches. I really like the Mountain penthouse room with the small private deck. They know I'm a smoker and always have an ashtray out there waiting. When I come in the door I'm welcomed by name. So nice after a long drive or flight. When I walk in I know that I don't have to worry about anything, it's already taken care of.
