I would definitely stay here again! Fairly new, great location right off the interstate, nice rooms, and breakfast buffet was .

We stayed at the hotel next door on our way to Montana and decided to try this hotel on our drive back. Room was very spacious with a separate area with sofa and desk, wet bar, large bathroom and walk-in closet. Definitely a hotel for long stays. We only stayed the night with our two little dogs. The hotel is clean and staff were friendly and welcoming. Hot breakfast and manager's reception are included in the rate which was nice. The hotel is pet friendly with an area dedicated for dogs to do their business across the parking lot. Pet owners are placed on the ground floor with easy access to the "potty" area.

Really clean rooms, great coffee, easy to use TV with Netflix, comfortable beds. Indoor pool open until 11pm, everything we needed. Would recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Lovely lobby, great central location with easy access to CDA and Spokane. Convenient charging stations, fridge, microwave. Nice and simple, clean and comfortable. Wish they had room service. Maybe someday :)

For the potential price of rooms in this area, SpringHill Suites represents a pretty damn good value. While it's not a high-end hotel, it is in a good location, with clean rooms and friendly staff. Certain days of the week they offer free beer/wine and snacks at night, as well as every day you get a free breakfast. They even have a rack full of bikes that you can use! And these aren't WalMart bikes...

I loved this hotel, clean, nice staff, very accommodating place. Free bike rentals, just lovely area. It's modern, new, and the kind of place that my wallet likes.

    Pretty darned okay...

Even though this property is seven years old now, to me it still feels sparkling new. We stayed here in 2015, and it's exactly as it was then. Great location to get anywhere in Cd'A, and a very quiet area with lots of parking. I really like the layout of the rooms. While the sleeping area is not overly spacious, having a large bathroom, huge walk-in closet, and an actual sitting area with a nice office space desk makes up for it, nicely. And this was the standard two-queen room, so I imagine the king suites are even nicer. As other Yelpers have mentioned, the staff here are all very friendly and all masked-up for the faux pandemic. Nice to have a hot breakfast, as well. They have that totally figured out, with a kitchen staff member serving hungry folks scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy and sausage. Was it haute cuisine? Of course not, but think about the nickel you would drop taking the fam out for a full breakfast. Grandson loved the pool, and the gals loved the hot tub. All in all an excellent weekend getaway...

The promise of a delicious, fresh breakfast. Just you wait until the morning comes...

They are very quick to communicate and on top of everything! The house itself is absolutely stunning with incredible detail blending historic details with modern amenities. The rooms are beautiful and inviting. The main area is ready to host any event and well laid out. Speaking of events, their expert team was setting up for an indoor wedding and it was so beautiful. There are extras such as a pool table, games and a hot tub; all ready for their guests to enjoy. The breakfast offered a variety of breakfast items, meeting the needs of any picky eater. I highly recommend The Blackwell for your stay and even though we are local to it, are planning our next stay!

Really wondered why this place is so highly rated. The place is marketed as a 4* hotel and highly…read morerated. Reality is that - 1st, there is no staff available to check in... (all remote & one needs to register on line to check in). Currently, the place is torn up (that is unexpected but OK). The issues were 1) room is quite dirty, 2) very noisy as there were work with plumbing and there is a new condo building next door, 3) the breakfast does not start until 9:00 AM... and only was comprised scrambled eggs with some sort of cheese and sausage and soggy potatoes. The only saving grace is that the lady at the place was friendly and location is near walkable area to the business district. Be aware that there is no A/C here (as it is an older facility). They provide a couple of heaters - one in the main room and one in the bathroom... It does take time for the one in the main room to warm up... Super cold when it was about 40ish outside...

Coeur d' Alene has been on my list as everyone says how great it is. So, a friend flew to visit over the summer and we spent 2 nights at the resort in their North Wing room. Then another friend came to visit this month, so we returned (with a much better experience). Arrival: Both visits were easy and we self parked. Be aware that there is an elevator from the parking garage to the resort and it is not the same one that will bring you to your room. Easy if you don't have a lot of stuff, but one visit I brought my dog and I could have used a luggage cart. So unload up front and then go park. Check in: Very quick. No wait. On the 2nd stay we were allowed to check in early which was nice. Rooms: North Wing- yikes. It does say on the site it is for the "value minded traveler." It shows. Summer is expensive there and since we were going to be outside the majority of the time it wasn't horrible. However, the room is much like a motel with the window facing a walkway. Ours was right next to the elevator. ugh. The inside was just okay. As others have mentioned, it could use updating. My second stay we stayed in the Lake Tower Room with double beds and fireplace and balcony. It was lovely. Nice room, beds comfortable, but the best was the view. Housekeeping: Unfortunately, both stays no one came to service the room. The Lake Tower even had a button to push when you want it serviced. We were out of the room by late morning and had the button turned on. Oh well. When I called, they did offer to service the room but we were tired and wanted to relax. One minor thing is that there is quite the push for tipping. I believe it came in an email and text. Just thought it was tacky. I've never seen that done before. Amenities: Visited the outdoor Blu pool during the summer. It was busy. My friend and I found an area that was "adults only" (not near the pool) and enjoyed the lake more than the kids in the pool crowd. Restaurants: Dined at Beverly's and Dockside. I will write separate reviews for them. All positive and will be back. The pre fixe dinner (early bird) was a great deal at Beverly's! ***Only policy I would suggest a change on is their charge for pet fee. It's one of the highest I've paid (and I've stayed at 5 star resorts) There is a DAILY $75 fee (someone said they cap at $150). I understand a fee is necessary, but I think that is a bit over the top. Our pup is crated (and prefers it) so does not require that deep level of clean other dogs might need. It might be better to have a standard reasonable fee and then charge the owner if the animal's stay requires additional cleaning.
