We were treated to delicious Japanese omelets made by Mimi, but you can choose from about eight entrees (including many nutritious options for the health-conscious). I'm including a picture of my Japanese omelet here, but I have to apologize: I forgot to take the picture until after I had already dug in, so it's not as pretty as it was when it first came out. Mimi and Kim, the guy at the front desk, were extremely gracious and helpful. We highly recommend staying here. Please note that the motel does not accept American Express.

The house is gorgeous and each suite is unique and spacious and comfortable. We felt at home sitting on the luxurious couch in the main living room in front of the fireplace with a view of the lake behind us. They had a Keurig machine with different kinds of coffee/tea/hot chocolate/hot cider to choose from. That was my my first experience using a Keurig and I had so much fun trying different kinds of coffee and tea and having it hot and ready within seconds. I enjoyed taking a hot cup of coffee and sitting in the gorgeous living room and just relaxing with my husband. They have 3 levels and you are welcome to hang out in the common areas on any floor. There are DVDs to watch and cable TV in each suite. I loved the huge tub with the jets in our suite--I took 2 long baths and we were only there one night. Breakfast is served in a lovely dining area with views of the lake. We had several courses--the first being a delicious fruit salad with pudding and a coconut sprinkle on top. The little shortbread bar with strawberries on top was delicious. The main dish was a french toast/bread pudding type of deal with blueberries and was warm and delicious. They refilled our juice and coffees as needed and were very courteous. I plan on going back to stay here in the summer so I can experience staying there in warmer weather. If you want a nice relaxing weekend away from home I highly recommend this place!! You will not regret staying here! P.S. We stayed in the River Suite--it was spacious and comfortable. They have way more amenities than we need, but the price was so reasonable we booked it. They have a restaurant on site and offer room service! Such a convenience with a wide variety of food, including pizzas. The restaurant offers a breakfast buffet, which is not included with your room stay. Our room had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot with coffee and condiments, dining table with four chairs, desk with rolling chair, robes, safe, toiletries, hair dryer, luggage rack, iron & ironing board, and I'm sure a few other things I'm forgetting. It was well stocked! The rooms are nice and fairly updated. I liked how the bathroom had two sinks, one in the toilet shower room, and another by the coffee pot, making it super convenient to add water and clean out the carafe. The TV in the room was nice and big. They had MANY channels available. The remote worked properly and was easy to use. The balcony was a nice feature. We walked into the room and it had a faint smell of smoke. We opened the balcony slider to air it out a bit. The smell wasn't bad enough to make a fuss, so we just stayed put. There were two chairs on the balcony as well. Our room was 4326, top floor corner room. It was a nice, quiet location. Far enough away from the traffic noise so it didn't bother us. We had a nice, quiet sleep. Our king bed was very comfortable with the right amount of linens available to keep warm. Overall, we were impressed with this hotel. If you play the piano or a string instrument there are instruments for use and that use is encouraged. There are a few friendly cats on the property. I stayed in a room with a shared bathroom (shared with a couple in the next room) and there was never an issue. The bathroom had sinks with toilet and shower in a separate area with a door, so you could brush teeth while someone was showering with no issue. An extra half bath downstairs was helpful too. The decor was eclectic and fun and always something to look at. (One of the owners designed and created most of it himself.) There's wine out in the afternoon/evening and a lovely coffee and tea bar that's VERY well stocked. Breakfast had two time options and is served in individual servings and, in our case, a platter if fruit to pass. The breakfast was a cinnamon roll bread pudding and a veggie and potato frittata with sliced melon on the side. It was delicious and I enjoyed chatting with the other guests over the meal. Beds were comfy and wifi was solid. (I stayed in the three twins room - be aware that the third twin is lifted above the closet and entryway, so it may be cramped for a larger person.)
