    Our spot
    Chandi M.

Great stay, close to the lake and yummy restaurants. We were there during the California and Oregon Fires which brought a ton of smoke to the area with horrible air quality almost the entire trip. But the park is clean, showers, bathrooms and the laundry areas are clean and maintained but the showers inside could use an update or a paint job. Our spot was shaded by a huge tree always love that, but it does seem that all the rv spots are mostly full time residents but it's quiet and easy on off to interstate 90. Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area.

Doggy daycare or boarding in an open environment - needs a little attention though staff are great and my pup is always happy here

Coeur d' Alene has been on my list as everyone says how great it is. So, a friend flew to visit over the summer and we spent 2 nights at the resort in their North Wing room. Then another friend came to visit this month, so we returned (with a much better experience). Arrival: Both visits were easy and we self parked. Be aware that there is an elevator from the parking garage to the resort and it is not the same one that will bring you to your room. Easy if you don't have a lot of stuff, but one visit I brought my dog and I could have used a luggage cart. So unload up front and then go park. Check in: Very quick. No wait. On the 2nd stay we were allowed to check in early which was nice. Rooms: North Wing- yikes. It does say on the site it is for the "value minded traveler." It shows. Summer is expensive there and since we were going to be outside the majority of the time it wasn't horrible. However, the room is much like a motel with the window facing a walkway. Ours was right next to the elevator. ugh. The inside was just okay. As others have mentioned, it could use updating. My second stay we stayed in the Lake Tower Room with double beds and fireplace and balcony. It was lovely. Nice room, beds comfortable, but the best was the view. Housekeeping: Unfortunately, both stays no one came to service the room. The Lake Tower even had a button to push when you want it serviced. We were out of the room by late morning and had the button turned on. Oh well. When I called, they did offer to service the room but we were tired and wanted to relax. One minor thing is that there is quite the push for tipping. I believe it came in an email and text. Just thought it was tacky. I've never seen that done before. Amenities: Visited the outdoor Blu pool during the summer. It was busy. My friend and I found an area that was "adults only" (not near the pool) and enjoyed the lake more than the kids in the pool crowd. Restaurants: Dined at Beverly's and Dockside. I will write separate reviews for them. All positive and will be back. The pre fixe dinner (early bird) was a great deal at Beverly's! ***Only policy I would suggest a change on is their charge for pet fee. It's one of the highest I've paid (and I've stayed at 5 star resorts) There is a DAILY $75 fee (someone said they cap at $150). I understand a fee is necessary, but I think that is a bit over the top. Our pup is crated (and prefers it) so does not require that deep level of clean other dogs might need. It might be better to have a standard reasonable fee and then charge the owner if the animal's stay requires additional cleaning.

They are very quick to communicate and on top of everything! The house itself is absolutely stunning with incredible detail blending historic details with modern amenities. The rooms are beautiful and inviting. The main area is ready to host any event and well laid out. Speaking of events, their expert team was setting up for an indoor wedding and it was so beautiful. There are extras such as a pool table, games and a hot tub; all ready for their guests to enjoy. The breakfast offered a variety of breakfast items, meeting the needs of any picky eater. I highly recommend The Blackwell for your stay and even though we are local to it, are planning our next stay!

(all remote & one needs to register on line to check in). Currently, the place is torn up (that is unexpected but OK). The issues were 1) room is quite dirty, 2) very noisy as there were work with plumbing and there is a new condo building next door, 3) the breakfast does not start until 9:00 AM... and only was comprised scrambled eggs with some sort of cheese and sausage and soggy potatoes. The only saving grace is that the lady at the place was friendly and location is near walkable area to the business district. Be aware that there is no A/C here (as it is an older facility). They provide a couple of heaters - one in the main room and one in the bathroom... It does take time for the one in the main room to warm up... Super cold when it was about 40ish outside...

Literally a few blocks from anywhere you want to go. Nice little grocery store, liquor store, and coffee place nearly right across street. The things that could be improved or addressed - mostly for an extended 4 night stay - are having a dresser or small table in the room. There's literally no place to store/stack things. There is no daily linen or towel service. This is impt to note bc if you do any walking/hiking in the area, you will get dirty. The only negative that I would give North Idaho Inn is a very awkward, tight and tiny parking lot that can be very tricky to maneuver in, especially if you have a full size truck. However, sadly, worldmark decided to sell or lease the lake access to Gozzer Ranch (owners include celebrities) and worldmark owners and guests can only access the lake via one small spot that is not maintained well. It's a muddy slope and the few lawn chairs are cheapie and covered with bird poop. You really feel like it's the haves and the have nots between the worldmark place and the gozzer ranch lakeside lodge. We aren't allowed on the dock and the former restaurant is now only for gozzer ranch. Celebs buzz up and down between the lake and gozzer ranch in their side-by-sides and they aren't watching for little kids on the road and it's loud. I think it's sad worldmark decided to eliminate literally the only thing to do - why would you go to the lake and not plan to actually use the lake? You are a pretty long drive from anything other than the general store (which is a cute store). The only amenities for recreation is a pretty utilitarian indoor pool and when we've been there it wasn't working most of the time. There is truly nothing to do but stay inside your room - if you want to look at the lake, read a book, sit on the deck - it's great. But worldmark needs to invest in things for its owners to do since it gave the best part away. We used to be able to catch a boat to dinner, have dinner and or drinks in the restaurant, there was a sandy beach - all gone now.
