We stayed here for three nights. First, it is right along the freeway, and you hear all the noise. It does quiet down in the wee hours of the night. If you do not like being next to the freeway, this campground is not for you. It did not bother us. We also take advantage of their half off rates during September. Thank you Wolf Lodge for that. Next, the campground has a lot of activities which we were not able to take advantage of. We were visiting friends in CDA and spent most of our time with them. I wish we had time borrow a canoe, hike and use the sauna. We had site number 12 a pull through with full hook ups. It is an end unit and we enjoyed it. The campsites in the center row have you facing the backside of another camper and it's hook ups. There are pull thrus, back in sites, tent sites, and adorable log cabins for rent. All sites come with a picnic table. There is a lot of shade. We felt very safe and even left our bicycles outside of our RV overnight. read more

Bait & switch at this campground. We booked a pull-through site with "full" hookups we didn't get one. NEither did our neighbors . The showers had very low pressure. The picnic table was falling apart and not safe to sit at. Trash was piling up, And probably the quiet worst aspect was the very loud highway noise. Good Sam needs to re-rate this campsite. read more

We love stopping at Wolf Lodge Campground on our trip from Montana to the Oregon coast. It's our go to stop. Our kids love playing on the playground and swimming in the river. You can rent canoes and paddle down the river. We love that there is a fenced dog park for our dog to play in. It is close to the highway and you can hear the traffic but it wasn't bothersome for us. They have a community fire by the main lodge in the evening which is great for meeting other campers and making s'mores. The staff is very friendly and helpful with any questions and they have been very accommodating with all of our stays. read more

We stayed here for just one night. We selected water and electricity only. This is a great family getaway location. Lots for the kids (big and little) to enjoy. I think if we had been here longer, I might have been tempted to take a dip in the river/stream right on the property. The access driveway is tight, but they have added a bit more room on the right so we could swing wide to bring in the 37 ft Class A and tow car without difficulity. Coming out the next morning was just as easy. Great folks in the office, super clean restrooms and generally well maintained. I would stop here again. read more

I am updating my review for 2022 Back in 2016/2017 ish the old owner who ran this place poorly put a very sour taste on me for their place. The old owner was - well- quite horrible. Very loud highway noise, very tight RV spaces all around you, sewage smell from nearby porta potty, non-potable water at the time we were there, dusty gravel roads, no fire pits at each RV individual site, but tent sites had fire pits. The staff was very nice, they had a nice dog park and prices were somewhat affordable. read more

First time staying at a campground and I'm so glad it was this one. We were camping with our 5 year old and she loved the playground and the creek that ran along side it. The STAFF is excellent they are always driving around making sure everything is in tip top shape. Amanda the house crew was sooooo kind and genuine. We will be back! read more

We absolutly love this place! The staff is great. The grounds are well kept. We loved all the little touches. The community bon fire every night was a great way to meet fellow campers and roast marshmellows. Though we did not have our dogs with us, the dog park was great and even had a dog wash station. My son loved the funny cycle rentals. We loved the creek, it was a nice way to cool off in the afternoon. We can not wait for our next trip to Wolf Lodge. read more

We are so disappointed with our stay at Great Wolf Campground. The noise from the freeway is so bad that it is difficult to carry on a conversation. I did not realize that the campground was a mere stone's throw away from the freeway. It is so loud, and we are two rows into the campground. My other complaint is the swarms of wasps. You cannot eat outside your RV without so many wasps surrounding you. We have trapped 100's in a wasp trap that we had to go to town to purchase. There is no excuse for hundreds of wasps being constantly present. We did not have a good experience. The wasps are causing us to leave 3 days early. read more

Fantastic place, super nice staff in a gorgeous setting that's well cared for. Even laundry area was clean and tidy, with a fruit tray. Enjoyed renting a kayak for a couple hours to paddle along the creek. Only negative would be some traffic noise but only while walking near the creek. read more

Nice location just east of Coeur d'Alene, however the campground is a crowded one where intimacy with one's neighbor is a very merry splendid thing. The owners would do well to half the amount of guests for a more enjoyable experience, but with a stampede of humans craving the great outdoors this is not likely. My wife and I stayed 5 years ago for a week as part of our honeymoon. For our 5th anniversary we stayed 3 days and we love wolf lodge. The people who run the store and the grounds are the best. They are always ready to help. Im disabled, my wife and I were in a tent site all the way at the back of the resort. They would give me rides back to my site and that was very kind. The prices in the store are way beyond fair. The only thing that's bothersome is the highway traffic but you get used to it. We loved the stay and will go back. read more

Got delayed on our trip and management staff was so helpful in letting us move our reservation back a day no questions asked. We arrived before check in and were able to get settled. Our site was a little weird in shape (we were on the lawn) but we liked being backed up to a grassy knoll for privacy. You can hear the highway but not enough to bother you when sleeping. Two bathroom locations was helpful so you didn't have to walk back and forth. Laundry room was clean, but wish there was a place to make change with quarters (machine ate some of our quarters but staff helped us right away!) So many amenities we didn't get to use or have time for, especially for families. There is a playground, nightly bond fire to meet other travelers, dog park, boat rentals, kayak/tube rentals (fishing?) and more. read more

I knew this place was close to the highway. But I was not expecting to hear I-90 the entire time. We were tent camping. I couldn't talk to my partner at all due to the excessive freeway noise. Additionally, within 10 minutes of getting to the site and setting up, a thorn over a half inch long punctured through my shoe. I brought my dogs because this place is dog-friendly and this issue with the thorns caused me to worry about their safety. The next morning another thorn punctured through my partners show when they got up. Turns out the campsite we picked had several trees that have these long thorns on them. The entire campsite we stayed at was dirt. So there was constant dirt dust when we moved or there was a slight breeze. We booked a 2 night stay and left the morning after the first night. It was too dangerous with the thorns and too loud from the freeway noise. We wanted to relax and unwind and left more stressed and wound up. This trip lasted a total of 19 hours. It was miserable. I do not recommend it for tent campers. read more

We loved our stay here and would definitely come back. Great sites (we stayed in full hook up), kayaking the creek was great and location is close to town. The absolute only negative is the site we had. We were in site #1 and this site should NOT be reservable as it is attached to the dump station! You actually share the water with the dump station and your site. Very gross! Luckily we were able to move our hose and share our friends water in site #2. It also smells and you deal with the "spills" from people who don't know what they are doing . The dump station either needs to be moved or like I said, site #1 should not be reservable. read more

We really enjoyed our stay at Wolf lodge Campground. The campsites were very clean and we have a pull through spot so it was easy to hook up and get situated. The staff was very nice and I loves the fire pit in the front for everyone to gather around. One thing I was not a fan of was the kids in the little cart things that were not looking where they were going and going in front of cars. Great spot. Fantastic service! We were there in the middle of the week so it was nice and quiet. Great park for the kids. And reasonably priced for their things to do like boating and kayaking. A lot of deer come through it is so cool to see. Even a camp sink for dishes and a hose spot near tent camping so you don't have to use your own or the creek water to put out your fire which is great! The road noise was a bit loud where my husband and I couldn't hear each other talk a few times. Along with the big road lights right across the way. But there's plenty of spots backed up to the first where you could avoid that. And if you're in a fifth wheel you would avoid all of that completely. There is a very narrow bridge leading to the campground. We were in sire 13, which was very short for our 36' RV, had no room for parking our car, and was difficult to back into. The grass on the site was sparse and not maintained. We had the smallest area in front of our camper. The common areas were beautiful. Looks like a great place for families with kids. read more

We stayed at the Osprey Perch cabin in the campground. It was very cozy and cute. We had two tall teenagers and they loved the loft but it was very hard for them to climb up the ladder and go through the opening of the loft. The cabin had a little bathroom with a toilet and sink. They just used plywood to build the walls. But the little bathroom saved us many trips to the outside bathroom. We enjoyed the fire pit and the staff was friendly. Since we love campgrounds and do not like to sleep in tents we sleep in many camping cabins. This is my favorite cabin so far. We would come back again. . read more

This park is right off the Interstate....so, it's really easy access. And, it's a nice, QUIET park. The people are so lovely you feel at home, right away. There's a wonderful enclosed area for the dogs to run and the grounds are meticulously kept. The sites are level and well groomed with green grass everywhere. They had a dog park, swing set for kids, horseshoes, and a marina where you could rent kayaks and canoes without having to drive anywhere. This campground was beautiful! It is conveniently located just off the freeway, but wasn't terribly loud. We loved the family feel and wonderful amenities. Our kids loved the playground, shuffleboard, river to play in, bikes to borrow, fire pit for marshmallow roasts etc. we even rented a boat from here and enjoyed a few beautiful hours out on the lake. By far, the funnest way to see the lake! The owners were great and all the staff very helpful! Thanks for a wonderful stay. We would definitely recommend this to our friends and family! read more

Stayed here on the 4oJ weekend. Even tho it was super crowded, we had a Super great time there. Bcuz of the crowd, showers did run out of hot water. Great play area for the kiddos. Well kept grounds, clean, tidy and well laid out. The "marina" is quite small and the creek is teeny at the dock. we took our stand up paddle board through there all the way paddling to the lake. Creek got wider and deeper as we left the CG area. This CG is only 12 miles away from CoeurD'Alene. read more
