This is our families first time visiting Silver Mountain resort. We were really excited to be here. My 7 year old loves the water park which is amazing and she rode all the slides! For adults though, it is a bit much with how loud the place is and the lack of care from staff. The furniture in the cabanas is hardly worth sitting on because all of the padding is gone. The key to the lockbox didn't work and there is no privacy. The rooms were a good size but again, the furniture is old and worn out! The room, like other reviews, was not fully cleaned. Loaded dishwasher wasn't ran, gum on a closet wall and toothpick still on the floor. Overall, if I can help it, I will not be returning. read more

Everytime we come it gets worse. My daughter loves having her party here with all of her friends. I asked her to pick somewhere else and she wasn't having it. We rented the suite for two nights and then we rented two conjoining rooms for two nights. We also paid for 10 water park tickets. Night one we get into the room and as I unpacked the groceries I noticed the fridge hadn't been cleaned. I was in a hurry so I just wiped it out with the soap and sponge they provided. I got to the table to start setting up the table cloth and found blood all over it. Next I used the bathroom and the trash can under the sink hadn't been changed. We sat down on the couch to hook up our fire stick and found a bra just lying under the corner table. The prices keep going up and up and the quality keeps going down. I am convinced they don't clean rooms. You can't miss blood, a bra, the fridge, and the trash. The waterpark no longer runs tabs. Every single time you want a cocktail you have to track down the member of your group who has the locker key so you can grab your wallet. So for a four day trip you are up and down those stairs to get to the locker non stop. They also don't do shots. So if you want to have a quick shot and then go back to the waterslides ..... you can't. You have sit there and down an entire drink. It was so much better when they ran your card and left it on file for the day. The rules keep growing and the quality is tanking. read more

We overall enjoyed our stay and found plenty of fun activities for the whole family. One highlight was taking a ride to the top of the mountain on North America's longest gondola, which was a great experience. We also spent time tubing, and the staff there were fun, helpful, and even had a Lorax character, which the kids loved. Afterward, we grabbed food at the top lodge restaurant. We had bacon cheeseburgers and chicken strips, which really hit the spot. The waterpark was another big hit with the kids. Their favorite attractions were the surfing area, lazy river, and family water slide. The waterpark also offers locker rentals, a variety of food and drink options, and convenient tap-to-pay. The menu for the waterpark is in the photos provided. While there, I enjoyed a delicious chicken, bacon, ranch wrap. As for our accommodations, we stayed in a condo in Building D. The kitchen was nice and included some basic supplies, which was helpful. However, the condo itself felt a bit run-down and not thoroughly cleaned. There were multiple stains on the carpet that didn't appear to have been vacuumed recently, and the pullout couch had ripped linens. The loveseat also had an exposed metal corner, which we didn't notice until it snagged and ripped my husband's favorite shirt. We were on the fourth floor, with hot tubs located outside on the first floor, and we could hear noise from guests using them late into the night and early morning. 1 hour drive north of Spokane and worth the trip to go on the gondola ride up the mountain. Awesome 3 mile gondola ride and great fun tubing in the snow. We did not stay at the resort, but came up on Christmas day to take the gondola ride, there wasn't much open on Christmas day, but what a great idea to come here. The gondola ride had incredible views as you go up the mountain. And it is a good price for the ride. Make sure to wear or have something to keep you warm on the ride up because the temperature drops quickly as you go up the mountain. The windows open if you want to get a better view without the glass interfering. The resort is showing some signs of aging, but employees are friendly. We went into the resort to warm up and have a light snack. Bathrooms are on the first floor and they are fairly clean and very busy. Plan ahead because reservations book up quickly. Jeanie was able to accommodate us for tubing. The tube are gray for medium speed and black for slow speed, the fast tubes were not out this day. It was a great deal of fun! read more

Super gondola ride and fun in the snow! We read about Silver Mountain's gondola ride and had to try it. Scenic vistas and a 3 mile ride from the valley up to the mountain was fun. We visited on Christmas Day and the snow tubing was already fully booked. We spoke to Jeanie in customer relations at the ski area, and we explained our predicament. Jeanie was able to accommodate us for some snow tubing based on actual turnout that day. The snow tubing was a blast! Very family friendly environment at Silver Mountain. It reminded me of my youth going to ski resorts in the 1980s. Overall value: excellent value to experience ratio. Even if you just take the gondola ride, it's a great value and fun. read more

The water park needs new management ASAP, last winter ("2025 in January") the water resort last year was very dirty in the lazy river and side walls of their other pools were not scrubbed or cleaned and they leave fecal matter in the bottom of the pools and still after the next day., and now in 2026 of January same thing happened again. I don't know why these people don't clean or fix their hot tubs up stairs or do anything else., I am just absolutely fed up. And this year they put way too much chlorine in the water and their water still looks like S H I T and green algae like a F@$king fish tank. These people should be lucky that I am not their boss., because I will make them scrub and clean every inch and every night after closing the water park!! They need a break from their older management and need to be replaced immediately since they do not care for the environment or the health conditions of the waterpark. read more

I'll start with the water park. Almost the entire time we were there, the lazy river and middle section were closed 3 separate times due to a child having an accident. I understand this is nothing that can be controlled, but it took almost and entire hour each time it happened to reopen these sections. The room at the resort took about an hour to get checked into when we arrived at 4:00 at the check-in counter. There were only (3) people working the check-in desk with far too many people checking in. Once we finally got to our room it was dirty. We found fingernails on the living room table, trash on the floor in one of the rooms, and clearly the kitchen was not wiped down from the prior stay. The dishwasher was also still running so we had to unload it when it was completed. We had to have a cleaning crew come up and re-clean the room while we tried to feed our kids dinner. I think they stayed under 5 minutes to clean, so definitely a rush job. I am not usually one to complain, but when you spend $600 on a room for one night you expect it to be in better shape than that. We will most likely not be coming back, or if we do we will choose not to stay at the resort. read more

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and very nice. We had the romance package and they gave us a huge bottle of proseco, chocolates, loofah and little candles. The tubing on the mountain was so much fun! Alyssa, Josh, Jaden, and Mr Australia were super friendly and fun. The water park hot tubs were great and the lazy ri er was very nice. Family vacation! We are a family of 5 and stayed in the 1 bedroom loft suite. Room was amazing, clean and spacious. While here there was a wind storm that knocked power out from 10pm to 4pm the next day. Staff was amazing! They guided us on what store we're open and had generators. Since all thr towns from coeurd'alene to Wallace were blacked out. As soon as power returned they opened the waterpark out of hours for us to enjoy. Thry also gave us refunds on the waterpark and snow tubing add ons. Everyone went out of their way to help guest and make right a situation that was not in their control. We will be returning to try snow tubing. 10/10 read more

My daughter and I went sledding. They spent a lot of time fixing some of the runs and had them closed. They also had issues with their lift...that goes very slow up to the top which takes a lot of time away from actually sledding. It would be very helpful if mgmt decided to cut a walking path up the side of the lift for those who are able to climb. it's part of the fun, and would allow people sledding more time going down than taking a 10 minute lift up. Otherwise, this was a fun trip with great conditions! We enjoyed ourselves. read more

For the price I can't say it's totally worth it. We stayed in Building C (king suite) and did the water park. My review for the water park: I like that they keep it warm in there. The sky lights are great for natural lighting that isn't fluorescent everywhere. It was clean when we were there. The lazy river was nice but they don't let you bring drinks in there like Silverwood does. The line for Flowrider was long but my son liked it. They don't have a lot of water slides (only 3). The attendant at the family raft slide was really great and I appreciated him making sure he pushed the tube so I would stay facing forward. He was awesome! So was the guy at Flowrider he helped my son a ton and gave him multiple attempts after wipeouts to try again. The jacuzzis upstairs were SO hot. I LOVE a hot bath! But I couldn't even keep my legs in the water for more than a couple minutes without them burning. I wasn't the only one, everyone else couldn't either. We all sat on the side. But seems like a liability when you have people drinking at the bar and taking drinks in the jacuzzi to have it that hot. Speaking of drinks, they're overpriced with barely any alcohol. So I stuck with White Claw since I knew what I was getting and it was cheaper. Previously I had ordered a double vodka club soda and tasted like just club soda and was $14. They have a decent selection of food and were quick to make it. Again, kind of expensive but you can't bring your own food in so it is what it is. The hotel experience was a nightmare. You can see my review on the resort Yelp page. But the summary was that the room was clean, but the sofa sleeper was uncomfortable, didn't have blankets. All blankets are paper thin, pillows suck, they're tiny and lumpy. And the noise is insane! We could hear every word our neighbors were saying AND they stayed up til 1 am talking loudly. And then other neighbors had a baby that cried all night and sounded like it was in my bed. And they woke up at 5:30 am so I barely slept. All in all for $358 I wouldn't do it twice. read more

Not a good experience... started out with booking. I originally booked tube and stay got Sunday. After booking complete they called me and said tubing was unavailable for Sunday cause all booked. When asked why I was aloud to book if it was all sold out they said cause I could tube on Monday which was now an inconvenience for us due to work schedules. We arrived Sunday were denied an early check in so we went to water park. At nearly 4 o'clock was informed room was still not ready finally walked for to office at 4 and was able to check in. My wife son and I got into the room put out stuff down and went out got the night... when we returned it was late and first noticed a lot of food in the sink. I then stepped on a mushy cracker that was left on the floor... we jumped into bed and the next morning my wife noticed blood splatters all over my side of the bed. She checked me over for any source of the blood and I checked her and determined the blood did not come from us. I took pictures and immediately went to down to the front desk to inform them. There excuse was that the cleaning lady possibly cut herself while making bed and didn't notice but offered no excuse for the food left in sink or cracker the ground. The manager figured the compensation for sleeping in someone else's blood was worth 100 dollars off the nights stay. Left 2 stars cause e did have an enjoyable time at water park and dining on the premises. Did not get picture of cracker I stepped on it was late and didn't notice the blood cause when i got into bed it was dark and wife was already in bed. read more

Amazing resort with easy access to skiing and a water park, restaurants, shopping etc. Condos are spacious and some are updated. Very secure building with storage lockers. Unfortunately this is the noisiest resort we have ever been to. Walls are paper thin and rooms are in close proximity to hang out spots. We can hear everyone everywhere all the time. Makes sleeping near impossible. This is not a traditional resort as there is no housekeeping or services until you have officiallly checked in. read more

We spent 3 days here and kids had a total blast. First, lodging. Excellent stay! With full size kitchen, and very clean rooms. Also, loved the little balcony and the fireplace! Quick and easy check in, great staff in the front. People really care about their jobs, and even though they are pulling 11/12 hour days, they are on top of it. Water fountains in the buildings and hot tubs! Cons: - no USB plug ins at all, bring full chargers. - bring cash for vending machines - low water pressure in the bathroom (but huge tubs!) Second, water park! Lovely! Small, but big enough to entertain for 3 days! Lazy river moves at nice pace, very clean and lifeguards everywhere! The rides are fun, and did not have long lines at all. I screamed so much on family ride, I lost my voice. Blast! Love the "little spa" area for children. Not as hot as the hot tub (upstairs by the bar), but perfect for warming up. Btw, it was snowing at the end of our stay, and waterpark was perfectly heated! Saw some parents drop of their 10+ year Olds and leave. Felt so safe! My boys found a new "squad". Tomorrow, they have surf lessons, can't wait for that! Also, if you book a cabana, you get epic nap area. :) Gondola ride: Do it!! Beautiful scenery, and you can go as many times as you'd like with your ticket. On the top, there is a snack bar and a restaurant. Restaurant was awesome! The service was excellent, hot chocolate hit the spot and poutine fries was unbelievable! Definitely worth it. Food: Here is what ai love writting about. We didn't leave the resort, which is unlike us. Starting from normal prices at vending machines to restaurants, there are plenty of options! Food at the water park is super kid and inner kid friendly! Fries, hot dogs, pizza, waffle fries, sandwiches etc. There are also businesses right there, pizza, beer, frozen yogurt.... plethora of choices! Overall, would come again! Just call me Powder Princess. My family and I visited Silver Mountain over the holiday break for some winter skiing! My brother and I hit the slopes, while my dad and other brother spent the afternoon drinking at the lodge. Apres ski, anyone? We purchased a pass a day in advance, but I missed the 1pm deadline to reserve gear. Unfortunately when we arrived the rentals were packed and we ended up spending 1.5 hours getting prepped! If you're able, I'd highly recommend renting your gear well in advance. The lodge is located high up the mountain so you have to take the longest gondola on the west coast (!!!) to get to the resort. The lodge is two stories with a cafeteria, restaurant, and a cozy bar that's 21 and up. We ordered a number of their festive cocktails to heat up after a few rounds on the slopes. Ski conditions were great.. possibly too great. The powder was so thick that your skis easily sunk a foot whenever you stopped. I woke up with sore legs after carving fresh powder for hours. A magical experience, but I'd note that this mountain is geared towards intermediate-advanced skiers. read more

The rentals were very great quality and the assistants did a great job making sure everyone had proper equipment and that it fit well. overpriced $300 for a studio room that only myself and my child could be in. It makes no sense why I couldn't have 2 adults and 1 child to fit on the king bed. The room only had one shampoo and one conditioner. My hair alone takes at least two or three shampoos (little bottles) they give you. I would suggest staying at a different place because the waterpark was not worth the money I could go and stay at a better hotel and have more fun and have better food. The tubing was boring - the carpet ride up took too long. They need music playing on the hill. If you want to go to a good place check out Mount Hood, they know how to rock it. this is my first time there and it will be my last. There's better places out there. read more

Awful experience. For a "resort" that we paid over $400 for the night, we left feeling very disappointed and will not be returning. Dirty, run down, and lacking in all areas. We found blood on our bathroom door, as well as poop on the walls by the toilet and crumbs and dust everywhere throughout. The furniture was dilapidated and old. The pull out mattress sits at 45 degree angle and should not be considered a mattress that is supposed to sleep two people, as there is no way my young kids could have even slept there. The king mattress was filled with springs poking through the mattress cushion. Pillows awful. The water park was subpar, and what earned our stay the only star. Dirty and in need of restoring in many areas of the park. One positive, the highschool lifeguards did seem alert throughout the water park. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I would never recommend staying with the Silver Mountain Resort. The Resort management is totally disrespectful and rude. They have no sensitivity to the needs of their guests. The Resort fees and rentals are unreasonable. The front desk staff is very kind and respectful but again the office management needs hospitality training. read more

I visited the Silver Mountain Resort simply to ride the gondola and eat at the top. I will say that the gondola ride by far was with our a doubt the longest gondola ride I've ever been on. It's said to be the longest one in North America! Which in itself is amazing! I took some beautiful photos and videos. The only downside was the food at the top. However the AMAZING gondola ride made the food not such a huge issue. read more

We had a fabulous time at Silver Mountain resort. We thought our rooms were nice, clean and accommodated our needs very well. We loved the water park and enjoyed the time we spent there. We loved that although the park was busy there were no lines and we also appreciated the alert life guards. I had two small concerns. The elevator system was old and we typically had to wait longer than we wanted for the elevator. The food options at the resort were fair. We plan to come back but will be better prepared to bring our own food, order food earlier, or get food at other restaurants in town. read more

Came for mountain biking this summer and they had a package that included entrance to the bike park along with the room. Unfortunately we happened to come on a downhill race weekend (unlucky on our part). But they had rooms (big plus) and there are food options located at the hotel including pizza and the cafe. The room was decently sized and had a pull out couch and a patio. There is also a dishwasher and a coffee maker in the room. Because it was a race weekend, there was no storage space for the bikes, so I had to heave them in the car. The bike run are not the easiest and you should definitely bring a trail map. My kid and I ended up going all the way down on the rocky/dirt path and it wasn't the easiest ride. We aren't the greatest riders but it was not for beginners. The trails at the top of the mountain can be a little tricky but are fun. Just don't go all the way down or else you will have to take the gondola back up to the top. The water park was also included in the stay and it was a fun place for the kid to visit. They have a wave surfing station (you have to be a certain height to get on a surf board) where you can try surfing or body boarding. There are slides for the kids and it was enjoyable for them to get wet and splash around, especially on a hot day. It got packed in the afternoon due to the racers finishing their practice and coming to cool off. Definitely a fun place to come biking but probably the farthest I would drive for a weekend trip from the Seattle area. read more

Dec 21, 2023. The tube routes were disappointing due to low snow spots. The lack of recent snowfall is no fault of the employees, but the maintenance of the routes are. Each time, people were getting stuck halfway down the routes; three of four were open. An employee would push a tube but then gave up and we were on our own to get moving again. At one point the employees set out eight hard bottom tubes. These worked much better. There were approximately 25-30 people here. When asked for more hard bottom tubes we were told they weren't inflated. So paid patrons are getting stuck on routes that are not being maintained and the employees aren't going to inflate the tubes that do work. We were underwhelmed and bummed the event was a bust. read more

Fantastic spot to take your kiddos for a short getaway. The rooms are spacious and clean, and have a kitchen set up which is really great when you have to store snacks and have small kids. We mainly came here for the indoor waterpark and it was great. The water is not freezing, its about 80 degrees in there and they even have a lazy river. They have a smaller kid area that is shallow and has a smaller slide, babies were sitting in swings in that area which is a great concept. We even took the gondola up the mountain one morning and the views are incredible. They even have food up there and a blow up castle for kids to jump. The resort has a few restaurants and they do have a coffee shop on site which was a huge per for us. Hoping to come back here next year! read more

A scenic ride up longest gondola in North America a 3.1 miles long the journey to the top takes 30 minutes. At a small fee of course. Once at top the breath taking view take time to enjoy a few drinks and order up some lunch. It's worth to stay a couple hours. Wait staff is friendly and there's no pressure or rushed out of your table after eating. Very casual seating and very large tables. read more

Take my suggestion DO NOT go on the gondola ride: we were stranded towards the top for two hours in 80° weather while they "were hurrying to get it working." I called multiple times and all they could tell me is they are "working quickly" to get it moving again. Every time I called they would give me a different reason we were stuck and just kept saying it will be shortly. It was not shortly. It was 2 hours. My two younger children were nauseous and sick being stuck in the unventilated cabin with only two small windows on the door. When I called 911 they called the resort who told them it would only be 10-15 more mins. It ended up being 40 more mins stranded in the gondola.. so based off how nonchalant they are about the whole thing I got the impression that this is a regularly occurring thing. Then when we got to the top all they wanted to offer us was a drink voucher for a complimentary non-alcoholic drink (which expired almost three months ago) and a free lift ride (that has an expiration date.) The only way back down from the top is to take their janky lift back down. Tell me why halfway down the lift stopped AGAIN. This time for 5 mins. I would never, not in a million years, willingly come back here again. And if you're smart you wouldn't either. And If you do decide to risk it maybe pack an SOS bag with food and drinks cus they don't do regular maintenance on this thing and I take it people get stranded often. read more

We recently stayed here for two nights. The area is beautiful with the mountains. The town is pretty cute and very small. Overall we enjoyed our stay. I'll post about the positives first. The waterpark was really nice! I would say it's geared mostly towards younger children although there are three bigger slides and the surf thing. I was trying to look at it through the eyes of our teenagers and I think after one full day there they would have had their fill. Our five year old was in seventh heaven all three days. She really loved the kid friendly hot tub, the two mid-size waterslides and the lazy River. The hours were shortened due to low staff, which was a little frustrating but I realize that was out of their control. However for the first day we were there, the park closed at 5 and as we were leaving we discovered that a group of people had rented out the entire waterpark starting at 5 pm. So apparently it wasn't all staffing issues and that was disconcerting to hear considering when we first booked this getaway, the waterpark was supposed to be open until 8 pm. The staff at the waterpark was nice but every one of them I talked to said it was their first day or week on the job. The gondola was also really great! We rode that to the top and enjoyed a couple of hours at the chalet. We were also able to ride a chair lift that was at the top. It was beautiful and the staff was friendly. We ate at the chalet as well and it was so good! The French fries were delicious and my pesto BLT was probably the best BLT I've ever had! Now for the cons: the room. It was not clean. The floor was so gross, you could tell the carpet needs a deep clean or just replaced. I dropped something under the sofa and when I went to get it, I saw that underneath was filled with dirt, dust, food crumbs and little pieces of candy. It looked like it had been a few years since the furniture was moved and cleaned under. When we arrived there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, there were finger smudges all over everything like door knobs and light switches. I felt like I needed to take a Clorox wipe and clean every single surface. The faucet knob was hanging on by a thread in the shower. The light above the shower kept flickering off and on for the first day we were there. For some reason it stopped after that or I would have asked for it to be replaced. The king size bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows are so small they barely fit my head. I expected more from a resort as far as comfort and cleanliness goes so that was disappointing. The food options were ok. I like I mentioned the food at the chalet was delicious. The food at Noah's, was just ok. Definitely not worth the prices. The pizza place was great! Friendly staff and really good pizza. The frozen yogurt shoo was just ok. The yogurt we got was watery and not creamy by my 5 yr old didn't care. Lol I'm glad we came but I don't think we would go back until the rooms are remodeled. It's hard to relax when you know the room isn't clean so neither my husband or I slept that good. Staying two nights during the Summer is more than enough time to experience all the "resort" has to offer. read more

This review is for 1) skiing and 2) restaurant / bar only. As a longtime Colorado skier, had never skied Idaho. What an old school mountain treat. Starts with a trek in gondola up the mountain (you'll take the same back down). Line on front and back end was much shorter than any lift line any major resort would have. Rental area was up too (unique but efficient and makes sense with layout). Brought my own boots and pro shop set me up w great demos right away. Amazing snow, best tree / glade skiing I've had in years. So many great runs, lift lines were so short (non existent!) and people I talked to kept mentioning how busy it was. More than 1/2 my day I saw no one at all. If you are expecting brand new lift chairs, go elsewhere. If you want old school resort with the chance to cut your own path, be here. Guest services was soooooo kind. I wanted to ski two days but schedule changed and I had to duck out early. Lanae (SP?) was just the absolute kindest and coolest human, so much great advice and fun convo - about the mountain and things to do around (couldn't take her up on her local recs bc of schedule but next time). Lifties to rental folks to gondola operators were awesome. Restaurant was great, so is new moguls 21. Great drinks, BLT w egg was brilliant. First time here for the summer time and it was just as amazing as it is during the winter. I love this place for the snowboarding and the conveyor belts helped our 6 year old learn from the time he was 1years old. The 4th of July was a short show as far as fireworks go but the resort themselves is amazing. We checked in and went to our room and immediately heard a neighbor playing a guitar and singing. Just a little too loud and then we heard a couple F bombs. We told the front desk and they, with no hesitation moved us to different floor which was super Kool. They front desk also provided a treasure hunt and activities for our 6 year old and he was smiling all day. We had dinner at the resort as well and the food was great and staff as amazing as the front desk. Wife wanted a real drink at the bar in the water park and the drink/margaritas I was told was perfect. Staff there was just as awesome everyone who worked here. The fro yo was awesome at the end of the night as well as well as there staff. I wish I rate everybody higher than 5 stars. We'll be back again and especially for the snowboarding season. read more

Had a great time over Valentines weekend with my husband. The weather was great . Large parking lot allows for lots of parking across the street. You ride the Gondola for 3.5 miles up to the Lodge. The 25 minute ride is neat. It takes one big dip and then up the mountain you go Fairly smooth and awesome view. Tubing is $25/adult and that includes the $19 Gondola ride. You can ride up and have lunch and watch your kids tubing from the deck. Really organized and well run. All employees were super friendly and helpful. Even with the Lodge being jam packed - service was still pretty fast and the burgers we had were really good If you don't want to enjoy the snow you can stay at he bottom and enjoy the indoor water park ! Great place. For people of all ages and skill . We will be back! read more

I am really disappointed with my entire stay here. The star you received was because of the nice ladies who are your receptionists. That's it. The Gondala's are closed on the weekends (you know, when everyone goes to a resort) and big sections of the water park are unavailable. Also, for a whopping $160 you can sleep in the most uncomfortable bed that will give you back issues. GREAT. And also, for that price, you can resort to breakfast getting crap out of the vending machine. I have been at some really shitty hotels before, and even they had a breakfast. The rooms are also smaller than you think for a king size room. Just don't come. This resort needs to get their shit together. read more
