Nice park near town. Has a very good brewery next to park. The RV park is a large area near a creek that you are not allowed to skinny dip.....crazy rules! Its the location of this place that gets a 5 star. Worth a stay, you can ride your quad or utv out of the park but they frown on discharging your personal weapon....again crazy rules.

Stunning views of the creek and evergreen valley in the park

Great place to stay only problem is communication. No internet connection and they don't answer or respond to phone calls.

Convenient RV park with a restaurant / bar on site. Wifi sketchy unless you are near restaurant but would definitely stay again.

Nice place. Kind of small, it was tight backing an and your neighbor was close. The stream is nice. I would stay again.

It looks super busy but surprisingly quiet. Staff was super nice. I'd stay here again.

Site 60 | great location | great amenities…read more We stayed one night in our sprinter van along the way to Yellowstone. This place is perfect for what we needed. Our site was close to trash bins to empty our trash and a one minute walk to the bathroom and camp kitchen area, if we needed to do some cooking. Our site has a nice little picnic table and fire ring. Lots of folks were using the fire pits, so there is no fire ban here. We are so close to the lake! Lots of trees here and our spot has enough shade to hide from the hot summer sun. Our site was #60 with an electrical hookup, thank goodness. It helped us not to drain our battery when using the a/c. Our site is in between a cabin site and a tent site. The site is small and fits our 24ft van perfectly. The big thing was that it is level! No adjusting. There is a store in the front and a swimming pool, which is popular when it's hot out. I did not need to do laundry, but they also offer that here. Patchy internet at our site, but we were able to use our starlink instead. Overall, we can't complain because this is glamping to us with all of our needs met. I recommend stopping here if you need a place to camp on your way to Yellowstone.

The people above me (tiered camped ground, like a staircase) had their LED lights shining into my camper and I finally went in my nightgown to their site and asked them to turn it off. Kids ran everywhere.. so it upset my dogs. Truthfully, it just wasn't the right place for a single person wanting solitude.

If you do not like being next to the freeway, this campground is not for you. It did not bother us. We also take advantage of their half off rates during September. Thank you Wolf Lodge for that. Next, the campground has a lot of activities which we were not able to take advantage of. We were visiting friends in CDA and spent most of our time with them. I wish we had time borrow a canoe, hike and use the sauna. We had site number 12 a pull through with full hook ups. It is an end unit and we enjoyed it. The campsites in the center row have you facing the backside of another camper and it's hook ups. There are pull thrus, back in sites, tent sites, and adorable log cabins for rent. All sites come with a picnic table. There is a lot of shade. We felt very safe and even left our bicycles outside of our RV overnight.

This campground was incredibly clean, the sites were spacious, and there were so many activities to keep both kids and adults entertained. The young staff were some of the friendliest people we've met--welcoming, helpful, and always smiling. Our only complaint? We wish we'd planned to stay longer!

I booked the bikes and paid the nominal fee for having the bikes transported to the trail head. I made a huge mistake in my calendar thinking I booked for a Tuesday but I actually booked for Monday--my fault. Four of us were riding that day and had driven over 7 hours from Southern Idaho. Route of the Hiawatha employees were so gracious and supplied us bikes only charging me for an additional transportation fee which I willingly and with gratitude paid. The entire experience was worth every penny, and I highly recommend using this business to book your experience if you do not have your own bikes.

The employee said "oh that doesn't matter" when we told him the brakes didn't work. We got to the trailhead, the first bike I tested out had a faulty chain- the employee was very kind and told me the chain was not working properly. The second bike tires felt unstable. The third bike, the seat flipped up. Luckily we were not in the tunnel yet and I was able to turn around. The employee told me the seat was new and no one tightened it. We waited almost two hours for the shuttle bus. Half the time we were on the bus waiting. The bus driver made jokes about how we had to wait in a hot bus. They would not let us leave even though there was another bus and trailer that arrived 30 minutes before we actually left. I was met with sarcasm and was told I was not waiting as long as we had. When we went through the tunnel back to the trailhead, my daughter's back tire locked up and she went flying off her bike hitting the muddy hard tunnel floor. Luckily, she only busted her mouth open. My husband had to walk the bike back. The back tire was immovable. Not one employee looked at the bike. They seemed not to be concerned. Their first aid ice pack did not work and had no ice and no way to help us. Bring your own bike and a full first aid kit!
