Including searching for some candles in her own home for a birthday celebration we had! She also drove through camp to see if we needed anything, like firewood! They have a nice pickleball court too! We did many walks throughout all the trails. They have a nice little store with gifts, ice cream, ice! I am giving them a 5 rating because they went well over my expectations:)

The Manager was telling us of the plans for expansion this coming year with a new 2 bedroom unit and their own mineral soak on site. Look forward to our next stay.

Great dinner and brews in the onsite restaurant/brewery just steps away from our RV site. All the other guests were friendly and quiet. It seems this is a launching spot for ATV/side-by-side adventurers. We have a back hatch that was great for listening to the creek later in the evening. Bathrooms and showers were clean and sufficient, but I was surprised to find a sign at 10:30am saying they were closed for cleaning (just 30 minutes before checkout!). The flyer provided at check-in stated that the cleaning schedule would be posted at the RV Park office, but I checked the white board and it was not. Highly recommend to management to have a standard "closed for cleaning" hour(s) and that it not be just when people are trying to clean up and leave. CAUTION: This would have been a very convenient stop off the I90 between Kalispell and Spokane, HOWEVER, Apple Maps tried to take us over the Thompson pass into Murphy and then onto Nine Mile Road which is narrow and partially unpaved --per the signage near Murphy--, so we detoured and drove about 40 miles out of the way to enter on the West side of Wallace coming on I90 from around Kellogg. ALSO, Due to construction, the 6th Street access from old town is closed, as is the West bound I90 on-ramp on the east end of town, so the directions on the RV Park Website and Apple Maps are inaccurate at this time. Once you get to Wallace and take exit 61 or 62 off of I90, follow the "Nine Mile Road -- 6th Street" orange detour signs through old town from either exit 61 or 62 to enter the Park. Unfortunately, this info wasn't shared when we called the day before and verified the website driving directions were accurate.

A lot of the RV's look to be full time tenants but it's very clean and quiet. The bathrooms are spotless and probably the nicest ones I've experienced in an RV park. Showers are big, great hot water and big bathroom area with a blow dryer. Attached is a 3 washer and dryer laundry room with reasonable prices. Couldn't ask for a better place. Full hook ups with cable TV. Gravel sites with a picnic table. Highly recommend this place!!

Be prepared are it is a very and narrow park, but well done. This is one of the best parks we have ever stayed at during our travels. The fries were perfect: crisp but not dry. We were so impressed we got two more burgers that night. This time we upgraded to their "Babe" burger. This time we weren't starving but we enjoyed them just as much. This place is a great example of the good parts of North Idaho: nice people, surprisingly tasty food and just a little bit rough around the edges. My family and I will be stopping by whenever we're in the area.

Site 60 | great location | great amenities…read more We stayed one night in our sprinter van along the way to Yellowstone. This place is perfect for what we needed. Our site was close to trash bins to empty our trash and a one minute walk to the bathroom and camp kitchen area, if we needed to do some cooking. Our site has a nice little picnic table and fire ring. Lots of folks were using the fire pits, so there is no fire ban here. We are so close to the lake! Lots of trees here and our spot has enough shade to hide from the hot summer sun. Our site was #60 with an electrical hookup, thank goodness. It helped us not to drain our battery when using the a/c. Our site is in between a cabin site and a tent site. The site is small and fits our 24ft van perfectly. The big thing was that it is level! No adjusting. There is a store in the front and a swimming pool, which is popular when it's hot out. I did not need to do laundry, but they also offer that here. Patchy internet at our site, but we were able to use our starlink instead. Overall, we can't complain because this is glamping to us with all of our needs met. I recommend stopping here if you need a place to camp on your way to Yellowstone.

Loved hearing the trains roll through town at night with their horns echoing in the mountains. We walked a circuit through the rv park every morning to get some steps in. Cabin had dishes, glassware & pots/pans. Everything you needed including a coffee maker & filters. My only regret was after spending all day chasing the grandkids we had no energy left to enjoy the cabin in the evening.

Periodically, we need to empty the waste tanks and refill the water tank of our motorhome. Sometimes we need to top off the propane. Each time we go to the Trout Creek RV Park, we are impressed anew with the friendly helpfulness of the people who run the place. Additionally, their fees are very fair. Once in a while, we spend a night there and find the surroundings to be both pleasant and convenient. Highly recommend these fine people and their business.
