Wow! This campground is probably the best maintained campground we've ever stayed at. The grounds are clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We rode our bikes on the Hiawatha Route one day and on another day took a drive along the Clark Fork to Quinns (for lunch) and (by chance) Paradise (and toured through the old school - not to be missed!). Campground St. Regis proved to be a perfect place to base ourselves out of. Wifi is sketchy, but we didn't go there to be on our devices! read more

We've been coming here each summer for the last two years and absolutely LOVE it! Very clean and quiet and the staff and owners are wonderful!!! This is a beautiful campground with many spaces, unfortunately not enough availability when we arrived on August 4 after 5 PM. We stayed in the overflow. The host were most gracious to accommodating us the best they could with 30 amp there. they were the best host of all the campgrounds we visited. This is a five star campground. This is our third annual return to this campground. We have met as church families each summer for extended three day weekend. And this will be our last visit. The resort is very well-maintained. The campground is conveniently located to town, and has slight freeway noise that we did not find disturbing. This booking staff are very friendly. The bathrooms and showers are clean and open with the exception of 11 AM to 2 PM. However, We did not find it dog friendly. The first year my husband and I took our lab. The puppy bounded out of the truck, crossed the drive way, urinated on a tree and Dave (the owner) was red-faced and yelling at me. Subsequent years I left the dog home. Your dog must be leashed at ALL times, even departing your vehicle. We had a new family attend this year and tether their dog while they went to pool. The owner yelled at them because the dog was tethered to HIS tree at their tent site and barked. On the back of your site map are 19 rules. The owner, Dave, enforces them aggressively, loudly and lacking a filter. The dear lady you see with a daughter on her lap was in tears as Dave yelled at her children. I love this place, great trails, quiet, close to some interesting dive bars. Very clean and private showers, yes, yes, yes, thankyou.

A great campground/rv site. Very clean and professional and covid conscious. We stopped at St. Regis on our way to Yellowstone. It was our halfway mark/break. The checkin office allowed limited amount of customer in at a time with masks and were very friendly and helpful. There are various items to buy.. both camp related and souvenirs. This is where you can order firewood (which was delivered to RV) and make laundry reservations. The hookups where convenient and our RV spot was perfect. Picnic table, fire pit and view of the mountains. Showers and bathrooms were not far and are SUPER well maintained and clean. There is a small park and swimming pool, which we did not use and cute bear carvings throughout the park. Well kept animal safe garbage bins as well as garbage pickup. This place has everything you need and more. I'd definitely stay again. read more

This is probably the nicest RV park I have stayed at. You must check in before dark. We just made it! Our space was level and gravel, and the gravel looked like it had been raked like a Japanese garden! The laundry was immaculate with clearly posted signs indicating how long the washer and dryer would take and how much they cost. The bathroom was super clean as well with good hot water and pressure. We only stayed one night, but it was a restful one. Even though it's near a highway, you don't hear any noise. Well run and friendly hosts! read more

I love Montana! Also, I'm not an experienced camper but this site was really impressive. Super clean bathrooms and playground and pool area. Nice flowers and trees and raked gravel sites. The owners really care about this property as evidenced by all the little touches. Carvings, hanging baskets, planters etc. The manager Pam is awesome!! Burn ban is on as there are fires raging in the north part of MT hopefully not where we are headed! read more

Beautiful, accommodating, and easy to get to. We have been visiting this campground for years, really enjoy it. Folks running it are very helpful, the store is complete with necessities and the facilities, laundry, bathrooms, showers are very clean. The pool is lovely and has lots of great kids in it. This campground is very well kept everything is immaculate! The shower was hot and good pressure. The only reason I knocked off one star is because it's near a highway so there is noise and mostly because the owner/care takers where kinda unfriendly to say the least. read more

I rode my bicycle across the USA last summer, and after a very challenging few days of riding, I needed a place to rest up. Campground St. Regis was planned for just one night, but as I was setting up my tent the owners stopped by to see if I needed anything. They were both so warm and friendly, and the park so comfortable, that the next day I decided to rest up there. I was fortunate on my three-month journey to meet a lot of nice people, but the owners of this park were the best! I highly recommend Campground St. Regis! read more

Starting off with the reservation. Very friendly and accommodating. We were only here for one night but it's perfect for 1 to as many as you want. Upon arrival greeted with a friendly lady, she accepted my AAA, and they also give veterans a discount as well as member of good Sam club. Handed a nice little map of the campground, and also backside had guidelines and policies. We have already considered coming back for an extended stay next year or two. They have cute stumps that are carved into different animals. There is a dump station provided for those that stay there. There is a gift shop, along with ice and firewood. They have a pool, it's not very big, but it's heated and seams as those that used it were having fun. I posted some pics and a copy of front and back of campground map. Enjoy. Oh and I had 3 "Bars" for my data, by they do have wireless if needed. read more

Arrived on our designated reservation date only to discover they did not have our reservation. They are not computerized and do everything on cards. I had the name of who took my reservation, their toll-free number and the name of the RV resort written down. I was told "we don't make mistakes". At any rate, they did have a site for us so we were relieved. The sites are very spacious and they have plenty of sewer hookups which is nice. It does have road noise and there is no cable. The Wi-Fi only worked outside of our rig. They have a swimming pool which we did not use. Their bathrooms are spotless. We stayed here in a fifth wheel. I would definitely stay here again for an overnight. read more

Can't say enough good things about this campground. The hosts are so nice and helpful. It's probably the cleanest campground we've ever been to, from the grounds to the showers and bathrooms. They have all the amenities- laundry, free coffee/cocoa, ice, laundry, basically anything you may need, it's here. The kiddos had a blast in the 80 degree pool. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the traffic noise from the highway. But it certainly wasn't bad enough to deter us from enjoying our stay. I would absolutely stay again, and recommend this campground to anyone. read more

After a rather odd welcome in Montana we stumbled upon the St. Regis and got the warmest, welcoming visit one could want. The owners/managers are warm, down to earth and helpful. the campgrounds are all level, deeply tucked into the woods and almost everyone campsite has a lovely carved statue of a bear or fish or some cute chain saw carving. The bathrooms are as if the white knight, Mr Clean and my grandmother attacked them ... spotless, no critters lurking in corners, etc. The store has some cute items and the store is stocked with info bulletins. There is a pool (heated but we didn't try it out), and at this time of year it wasn't crowded (May/June). I'd advise making reservations (406) 649 3470 during the high season. No cell phone coverage (not campgrounds fault) but great WiFi ... no TV (thankfully). I loved being here ..oh spray up at dusk ... mosquitoes in June. Great place to stay read more

I think this is hands-down the nicest campground I've ever stayed in. My mother and father have been here many times, and just this past summer my wife, daughter and I finally decided to make the drive over to join them on one of their trips. The entire experience was superb, right from check-in on through. The campground is scrupulously maintained, with extremely level, graded sites, green lawns beside each site, and *spotless* restrooms and showers. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful, Jim will literally bend over backwards to solve any troubles you might run into. He even *brought* us our firewood so we didn't have to haul it ourselves. There are plenty of wooded walking trails, lots of wildlife to watch (head for the pasture in the morning or evening) and ample shade trees for the sites during the day. One of my personal favourite things about this campground is that there is a large, open pasture / field off of one end that is ideal for flying my electric RC aircraft. Jim brought his own aircraft out and joined my father and I most of the evenings we were there (whenever he wasn't busy actually - you know - working) for some flight time. When we were there it was very late in the season and most of the place was empty, so I was even able to go low-altitude FPV through the unoccupied portion of the campground itself with my quadcopter, awesome fun! It's a six-hour drive for us to get there, and I'll be hitching up the trailer with a grin to go back next year. It's worth the drive, no question! EDIT: I forgot to mention, the WiFi was of moderate strength at our site, we were about half-way out from the lodge. Walking closer increased the strength, but as long as I was careful about how I placed my tablet on the table, I had no trouble with it. read more

On Saturday July 6th we had family members camping at this park. This is where we have previously recommended our friends and family stay when visiting the area and had always had great experiences. Well, it is under new management. We arrived to visit with them and were in 2 vehicles so parked near the office to not block traffic. One of the staff instructed my SIL where to park and then another yelled at her for parking. She said she would get another driver and we would take one vehicle home because we live close. When she got me and we were getting in the car the staff was yelling at me that I wasn't a paying customer and wasn't welcome. I told him that we have a large family that frequently refer family to stay there and had stopped by to visit and would move the car but with the way he was yelling I would consider referring family to other camp grounds in the future. I got in the car to leave and he was beating on my car window as I was backing out in an attempt to intimidate me. I would not recommend this campground if you plan to have any friends visit or don't want to deal with hostile staff. read more

Pool was small, clean restrooms, campsites are close together. Got stung by wasps that was nesting in the plug outlets. It took the staff over an hour to come by to rid the nest which we had already did ourselves. The park is close to the highway so you hear cars and trucks all night long. Expensive for a campground. read more

Camping after Labor Day, this little camping gem was VERY nice. Quiet, spotlessly clean, set up well, and the owner was very friendly. Stayed just the one night but was the perfect place to stay after our first long day of driving. Will definitely be our camping spot choice on our future trips into Montana. read more

"Go to The Nugget Then"! (the owner). Thank you, I will. If you're looking for a taste of Montana, don't stay here. My son-in-law and daughter were staying for 7 days. I was trying to ask where to park so I could visit, since we had more vehicles than would fit into the small camping area. All the employees were annoyed that I was interrupting them by asking a question. I parked where I thought it would be acceptable and was sternly told I couldn't park there either, as the owner was trying to grow the grass. There were no signs or barricades and the area was under a pine tree where it's too acidic to grow grass. It wasn't until I drove a vehicle home and returned that I was told where the overflow parking was located. Any family who came to say hello to my daughter had to take the extra time to check in and out of the office. I had no idea that if the kids stayed there, we would not be welcome to visit. I have been recommending that campground to everyone who asked for over 15 years. I had no idea the little gem of a campground, tucked away off the beaten path had become such a hostile place. Definitely won't be back or recommending it to anyone I know, or those who inquire. read more

Do not stay here!!! The owner is a complete crazy person. I have been traveling for 10 years for work and have never been so cheated in my time at any park. I paid up front for a month of rent. She charge me 15 days and took the whole amount! Do your self a favor and skip this place if at all possible!!!!!!! read more

I'm going to caveat this review by saying that there were two parties here that were in the wrong--both my party and the management. That being said, we (my husband, my daughter, toddler son and me) arrived at this campsite this evening to check in. My husband and daughter went inside to check in while I waited in the car with my son. We paid for a two-adult stay and, when asked, my husband told them that my daughter was 5 years old (she is 6, but it would have been an extra $14 and we were only staying for one night, leaving early the next morning). My daughter piped up that she was six and the management (perhaps rightly so) accused my husband of lying. Instead of asking us to pay the extra $14 (which we were about to do), the man and woman at the front desk used foul language and demeaning statements (including asking me how I felt about marrying a "f$&@ing liar" and "teaching your kids to lie," while shaking their fists (seriously, people do that?!) and screaming outside of the front check-in cabin. They also called local law enforcement to report us and escort us out of the campground. We promptly left (without waiting for the popo) and met the police outside of the campground, where we filed a formal complaint against the campground's management. Like I said, we were admittedly in the wrong but, wow, that Montana customer service sure is lacking. I have never actually written up a negative review about a place (I try to give people the benefit of the doubt) but, really, there are plenty of amazing places to stay in this area. St. Regis Campground should be at the bottom of your long list. read more

The only nice thing about this place was the bathroom/showers. This was the noisiest place due to being right next to the interstate. Felt as though we were not quite good enough for their Campground as we camp in a tent. No grass for our tent. Just dirt! And the place was very dusty dirty. Then we were reprimanded for hanging our towels up to dry. Seriously! Gave them a 1 star only because of the bathrooms. Otherwise would have been no stars. read more

Nice layout, lots of trees. Long, long aprons and Wide. Able to park travel trailer, truck and small car with room to spare. Restroom/showers; Clean, clean, clean. Needs 1 or two hooks on inside of shower door. Only 2 hooks not enough for towel, socks, cloths, etc. Now, look closely . . . no scum in the shower soap dish and the generations of flys and spiders above your head in the shower in other places . . . not there, clean, clean, clean. Staff is friendly and talkative. Directions: From Montana Hwy 135 heading south at the 4 way stop take a right and follow the signs. From I90 coming from east or west at the 4 way stop take a left and follow the signs. read more

We pulled in just before dark on a Friday night and they said they were full. But the owner then said they could make a tent site work for our motor home but we would only have 20 amp service and could not run our generator. We happily took the site. He walked us over to look at it first and then to help us park. It is a nice trees location and everything is very clean. Close to interstate is the only downside. We just stayed the night and walked around the campsite the next morning. We cannot be more appreciative of them getting us in! read more
