It's nice, spots are clean with gravel and very small grassy areas......and they have plenty of help. You pay extra for children, but they don't really have anything extra for them except for the ping-pong table which you have to buy your own balls and also miniature golf which you have to pay for. But the pool was nice and clean and they did enjoy that. the pet area is not suitable for small dogs because they can get under the chain-link fence. The table was crooked and on an angle making it for uncomfortable seating. It is right next to an airport and sometimes the planes are very noisy upon takeoff or landing, but did not detract from our visit. The gift shop was standard. They did have a lot of T-shirts and clothing to select from but the food area could've been improved with more selection. It was a great place to watch the Fourth of July fireworks. They also have a very nice outdoor seating area just outside of the souvenir shop --registration office where there is a beautiful view of the lake however, the motorcoach park that is just below us had preferable seating, and a closed event which limited us to Not enjoying that area for a few hours on the Fourth of July read more

We stayed in the 'kottage' and our cabin had an infestation of spiders. They were everywhere! Covered our cars, covered the porch, on the swing, on the hot tub. All over our firewood. We were unable to enjoy the outdoors of our cabin at all. And when pulling out the hide a bed for our children we were quietly and secretly smashing spiders so they wouldn't see! It was terrible!!! We also had mice droppings on our cooler every night. read more

We spent a week at Polson KOA in July, as part of our Covid Escape and social distancing on the road. I will start by saying I loved this RV park. It sits perched on a small hill right above the airport (which used very infrequently so noise is not an issue at all) and the campground has stunning views of the lake. At night, it even has a lovely view of the twinkling lights of the small town of Polson off in the distance, but it is still dark enough to do some stargazing. First, the office is a cute log cabin with a very nice store, ample restrooms and showers, and to our delight, there was a small pool and hot-tub behind the building. The laundry room was also in this building and it was very clean and the machines were new. They had a great big folding table, which makes it even better. I ended up doing my laundry there twice, once when we arrived, and then once more before we left since I liked their laundry room so much. The staff were very welcoming and friendly as we checked in, making sure we knew all there was to know about the resort. They took us to our site (site 25) and we had a fantastic view of the lake (between two campers in front of us) and a great deck off the side that we used constantly during the week. In the mornings, I would sit and watch the sunrise from our bedroom window (which faced east towards the lake) and just marvel that I got to be here to experience it. The water pressure was great, we had full hook-ups and The RV park is on the smaller side, so it never felt crowded or over run. We used the pool and hot-tub regularly, and it never had more than a few people in it at a time, which was great during Covid. Another great thing is that they do mosquito abatement in this park on a regular basis, meaning, we never got bit by bugs! After being eaten alive in West Yellowstone, I was pretty pleased. We will definitely be back at some point, we had a fantastic time in this area and at this RV park. read more

I've been to many beautiful locations and many desolate ones. This KOA is the worst I've been to. The staff are sweet and friendly but forgetful and seem constantly distracted. The grounds are lovely but small. The tent sites are very small, to small for my six man tent, and are on gravel not grass. The parking for the tent sites is silly and inconvenient. The men's bathroom only has two stalls which doesn't make a lot of sense considering 50% of the men here need to use them, so lots of waiting. The pool opens kinda late and closes pretty early for this heat. There is a hot tub but because of the heat and hours goes mostly unused. This place kinda gives KOA's a bad reputation and I will not be coming back or recommending this place to anyone, I'll be doing the opposite and telling people who love KOA's to steer clear. This place has potential but definitely needs some revamping. read more

Very clean, clean peasant KOA. We stayed in the camping cabins. The bathrooms are extremely clean and well kept. Tile showers are a nice touch. We rented boats and spent a day on the lake. This was KOA stop #3 on our way to Glacier, and it turned out to be a gem of a campground! We reserved a deck-end site and it was well worth it! Fantastic views of Flathead Lake. Our Site #18 had a spacious deck and lots of grass for the labs to relax in! Campground was quiet and peaceful. A smaller campground, the staff service was great and everyone was very friendly. They apologized profusely for the hot tub being under repair when we checked in! Our sewer connection was a bit upslope, but other than that, everything worked great! Just want to note first that we stayed here in one of the cabins. Not a tent or RV site. I was ver impressed with check-in. She was quick and knowledgeable. She answered every question I had. Office appeared very clean and organized. Plenty of items if you forgot anything from home. All cabins seem to have a small fire pit. We had a fire going every night. They sell and deliver bundles to your site! Very convenient. Cabin was also very clean and sanitized. You could tell they took extra effort to make sure kitchen utensils and tv remotes were sanitized during this time of COVID. From our perspective this KOA delivered. This KOA is top notch. We had paid for a premium spot and were amazed by the amenities, the concrete slab patio, the wrought iron table and chairs, the beautiful view. In addition, the WiFi worked 90% of the time (mostly during the day, but evenings were hit and miss). Even the non-premium sites looked very nice. The onsite facilities, such as the laundry mat, showers, bathrooms were some of the best I have seen. The mini golf course was fun and inexpensive. The pool was large, perfect for adults and kids. Our two girls enjoyed the very large playground, complete with a sunken boat. The other huge plus was the activities, there was a ice cream party, pancake feed, music. It is rare to see so many activities in a campground, but this KOA seemed to really make the most of them. The location of the KOA is not the best, it is a bit of a hike into town and there are no sidewalks along Highway 93. The KOA is very quiet though and it's placement allowed for evenings not to be overwhelmingly hot. If we are in Polson, MT again we will definitely stay at the KOA without a second thought. Absolutely, hands down. The most beautiful KOAS we've ever seen! The park sits atop a hill that over looks Flathead Lake. So nice. Full hook up. Free WiFi is nice. Pull through spots with 50 amp avail, water and dump. Spots are all small rock with grass on all sides. A nice picnic bench and fire pit/grill. All the employees are the friendliest people we've ever met, from booking our nights to checking in. Amazing all around. I would recommend this place to everyone. We decided to stay the night here after trying to find a place on the water, to no avail. It is located up on a hill with fantastic views of Flathead Lake and the surrounding mountains. There was a cute mini golf course and a fabulous gift shop. Honestly, we wish we could have stayed for a few more days. Great owners and the town itself is just as cute as can be. read more

TENT CAMPERS BEWARE! NOT REAL CAMPING! THIS IS AN RV PARK! Being from Colorado I know KOA campgrounds and this is NOT like any one I have ever been to. The website makes it appear as if there are MULTIPLE tent camping spots. There are not. There are 4. There is NO privacy, there are NO trees and it looks like they just threw up cedar plots to screw campers out of $53/night. This place is NOT FOR TENT CAMPERS....unless you love the hum of RVS all around you! We were there for approximately 10 minutes on check-in day (Sunday) and left to camp elsewhere. We went back the next morning (Monday) BEFORE check-out/check-in to request a refund for our 2nd day, as we were not going to be staying there and had pre-paid. We were told that they did not feel that they'd misrepresented the KOA campground and that we'd only receive a refund if they could rent out our tent site. I pointed out to the lady that they wear Polson RV Park Polos and she had the audacity to claim that they alternate days between KOA and Polson RV Park shirts. Well I checked in on Sunday and your staff was wearing Polson RV Park Polos and came back on a Monday morning to checkout and request a refund for the second day and your staff was wearing Polson RV Park Polos. Please let me know how that is called alternating? Last I checked that is called lying! If I could give this place a zero I would. We stay in the deluxe kottage every year in May and we love it. The grounds are very clean and well maintained and the hosts are friendly and accommodating. The deluxe Kottage is in the upper corner of the campground with a gorgeous view of the flathead especially from the private hot tub. The kottage has all the things you need to go glamping, you just need the food, just get that before you head to the campground because it's a couple miles to the grocery store. The campground is right near a little airport, but every time we have been here, we've never seen more than 1 plane take off. Top notch place!! read more
