In town and visited this spot. We went for the gondola ride with six people. It was a lot of fun going all the way up the mountain and taking in the beautiful scenery. We got to the top, played a game and took some great pictures. We were stuck up there for quite some time until they were able to fix it. The employees were very understanding to our situation and offered full refunds to our party of six and were very apologetic. They more than made up for it. Thank you guys so much!! read more

First time here for the summer time and it was just as amazing as it is during the winter. I love this place for the snowboarding and the conveyor belts helped our 6 year old learn from the time he was 1years old. The 4th of July was a short show as far as fireworks go but the resort themselves is amazing. We checked in and went to our room and immediately heard a neighbor playing a guitar and singing. Just a little too loud and then we heard a couple F bombs. We told the front desk and they, with no hesitation moved us to different floor which was super Kool. They front desk also provided a treasure hunt and activities for our 6 year old and he was smiling all day. We had dinner at the resort as well and the food was great and staff as amazing as the front desk. Wife wanted a real drink at the bar in the water park and the drink/margaritas I was told was perfect. Staff there was just as awesome everyone who worked here. The fro yo was awesome at the end of the night as well as well as there staff. I wish I rate everybody higher than 5 stars. We'll be back again and especially for the snowboarding season. read more

The 3 bedroom apartment is where we are staying. The outside looks quite unappealing. The inside is clean and nicely decorated. The problem is that it's 90+ degrees and there's not a/c. So I called to request some fans, stating my frustration in regards to the heat and lack of cooling. (Mind you, the description was very scarce as to what's in the $300 a night apartment.). So we received two fans....as seen in pictures. I called to request more, being it's literally an apartment with three bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and there are five of us staying here. Nope, all they have mid summer is 2. At this time, it's 93degrees out. My kids are hot, I'm hot....this is miserable. The description sure left some important information out of it. I am thoroughly unhappy and will not be staying again. On another note, staff was pleasant and kind. It's just unfortunate that the resort itself isn't set up well enough to handle hot weather nor is it thorough in its description. Looks like we're the summer guinea pigs. Went to take a shower, found black hair on the walls. None of us have black hair. Beds are hard, not comfortable at all. read more

I love silver mountain, its an amazing place for family....BUT, I booked my family Christmas in Nov 2020, and the reservation person knew that I had 14 FAMILY members. When I checked in I was not happy that we were on floor 1 and 2! She said we try to get you as close as possible, but not guaranteed. Duh! I worked on the front desk at a 5 star hotel for 9 years, in charge of rooms, I get it. 2 months is ENOUGH TIME to BLOCK my rooms, and a " do not move" note on it. It all worked out, but very disappointed. This is our 3rd Christmas at silver mountain, we go to new places every year..not sure we'll be back. read more

Silver Mountain Resort is absolutely gorgeous and our room was very cozy, comfortable, and well furnished. In addition, the scenery was phenomenal! We both particularly enjoyed having a patio, which was great to enjoy a glass of wine and looking at the sunset​ behind the mountains after a long day of driving. The waterpark was a pleasant surprise! It wasn't very busy for a Wednesday evening in August, so we were able to do everything we wanted in a quick time frame. There are 2 single-person​ tube slides and 1 large family tube slide. All were enjoyable! The lazy river was pleasant and comfortable. We did not eat or try the surf machine, although it looked to be quite popular. As you may have noticed, this review is only for the lodging and waterpark. There were multiple food options onsite, many of which sounded delicious. See my review of Noah's Canteen for one of the options present. We also noticed a pizza place and a froyo place onsite. This is a review for a day of skiing and lunch at the top. Surprised we have lived here for years, but have never made it to Silver for winter fun, until now. We ordered our tickets online and got a discount thru work. Lift tickets were easy to pick up at the ticket window. Ride up the gondola is the only downside, but the employees at the top and bottom were very friendly. We found lockers at the top where we could store our backpack. Now off to the slopes! It's not as well marked as I'd think it could be to navigate from one peak to the other, but a friendly lift operator helped us out. Very friendly staff and having foot rests on almost all the chair lifts is a big plus. Lunchtime! We decided to check out the bar with the fireplace at the top of the gondola. I think it is part of Moguls. It is cozy and has a good food menu with great beer selections. Their bloody Mary looked awesome as we saw some go by. They don't allow outside food in this particular area and they do enforce it, but they are very polite. They had to tell a couple sitting at the table next to us. We were glad to see they enforce their policy. Food was very tasty and service was excellent. Nice view from the windows as well. We will be back! read more

Let the latter part of this review be a cautionary tale for some... This ol' resort has been around for awhile, and in my opinion, still looks fantastic for the well-used ski/summer resort that it is. Our family studio we stayed in was great. Spacious, big bathroom, great wifi, mini kitchen, and a real nice patio area for dining. All the staff: front desk, housekeeping, cafe workers, chair lift operators, first aid station staff, waterpark lifeguards, everyone, were friendly and welcoming--even though we could not see their smiles thru all their facemasks. Extra special shout out to the guys in the bike shop. We love this place, and will certainly come back again. Maybe even next weekend, haha. The big event of this trip was mountain biking Silver Mountain. The easiest trails, only. Sounds fun, right? Hey, it's all downhill, so no major peddling, right? Looking at the website, they even say if you are a beginner, you will have no problem. Oh no, no, no. And no, again. It took a major effort to do even the recommended easiest trail (Crescent), and about a quarter of the way through it I knew it was about the survival of my party. Holy crap. The whole trail was mostly razor sharp basalt rocks, varying between the size of a toddler's and an adult fist. Moguls that came up on you quick and caused you to emergency brake in shear fear, steep runs that had you going way too fast, and switchbacks that only a trauma surgeon would love. I've been in transport aircraft leaving Baghdad that was heavily hit with ground fire that was a more enjoyable experience. It gave me a front row seat to what purgatory might be like. It was not at all fun, and seemed like it would never end. My son's girlfriend hit the deck four times on the way down (no stitches, thankfully), and I wiped out twice. This is why I referenced the nice first aid station staff. ;) This was my fault, and in no way Silver Mountain's. We are not small people, so gravity was certainly not our friend. Thank God the bikes we rented were top of the line. That little Huffy you picked up at Walmart would have disintegrated a third of the way down. Bottom line, this is not a sport for anyone over 200 lbs. The brakes on the bikes can't handle you. I smelled burning rubber the whole way down, and I did my level best to not be grandma going down the mountain. And, my son and his girlfriend (in their 20s) are tremendously athletic, yet struggled as I did. Even though we dropped big nickel on the bike/equipment rental, I had to put the kibosh on our adventure after that first run. It was not the time to be stubborn about expenditures, but it was a decision based on safety, pure and simple. There are decent tarmac paths around the base of the mountain, and we enjoyed those until our a**es couldn't handle that painful bike seat any more. I hope my assessment helps some folks who are considering this activity. Do I have any regrets? Nope. But some things in life are just not for everybody. $370 a night. Zero parking available. 30 inch TV in the living room. Computer monitor in the bedroom as a TV. One bar of soap for the entire condo. One roll of toilet paper. Front desk told us where to go to the hot tub but neglected to tell us they were closed. No sheets or blankets in the room for the pull out couch. Every single aspect of this hotel is understaffed and overpriced. We stayed in room 248. Don't take this room. Actually, don't take any room at this place. Save your money, get a VRBO or stay at the Fairfield across the street. This resort does not deserve your hard-earned money. And if this is a privately owned condo, it's a ridiculously overpriced room. read more

BEWARE!!! This place is unsafe, unmonitored, not-family friendly or even friendly to say the least. This past Saturday 12/09/23 my family booked a stay to enjoy an early birthday celebration and hit the waterpark with our ONE year old. Hoping to enjoy a fun day turned into a disaster! We were in the very kitty area for toddlers and my son 1-year old, was struck in the head TWICE with a chair from another guests' child who was at least over 5+ years old! There was no lifeguard on duty, no parent supervising this other child, no accountability was held for this boys action. Instead of getting to speak with anyone we ended up leaving the park due to the unsafe conditions and since the kid was still wondering around we didn't want to risk our son being harmed or in danger again with no help from anyone on property. I called the front desk at 7:30am the next morning to report the incident and the agent was concerned and let me know her manager would be giving me a call back. I never received a call back instead when I went to check out I was able to be in contact with the manager. I would say meet, but she didn't even introduce herself just jumped right into defense mode like I was about to ask for something in return when I just wanted to share my experience and feel heard and acknowledged since the whole incident at the water park wasn't. She had no empathy, no kind words of sorrow for how traumatizing this experience is. Just brushed it off and told us they were separate entities and they couldn't do anything. There was nothing friendly about her, but I must add the front desk agent I spoke with all through check in and check out deserves a metal for providing her best hospitality to me. She in my eyes was more qualified to be in the leadership position than the current manager, she was SO kind and apologetic. I left the resort as a first time parent feeling defeated, underserved, overlooked, with a bad taste in my mouth about a place I couldn't wait to treat my family to only to have a poor experience and to not be heard from anyone. It is Monday now and I still have not heard from ANYONE! I will be sharing my experience in hope's it never happiness again, it is not fair or hospitable for anyone to get this down right poor treatment. To add- our balcony sliding door was left open all night since we checked in. We didn't notice this until the next morning when we actually went out to the balcony and wondered why it was so cold in the morning. Our sliding door was never properly closed to add the cherry on top of a terrible stay. The floors in our room were very dirty. Dead bugs, dust and long black hair were of the many things that made our room feel cringe worthy. Step it up housekeeping! Most expensive miserable stay of my life. As a Christmas gift I booked three suites for my family to all get together. I spent four hours on the phone booking just the right rooms. I explained that my husband is handicapped and needed to be on the ground floor next to my sons 1 bedroom suit. We planned to cook together and my son would be able to help with his dads wheelchair. I paid more money to get a corner suit so the hotel could accommodate our needs. We booked our sledding also for the family from 1 to 3 the day of check in. When we arrived we were told that they were sold out and that they put us in the ground floor but my son was on the second floor. This meant we would need to still go upstairs to eat. I explained to them that I paid extra for a corner floor suite and now I wasn't getting that and I wasn't getting to be attached or next to my son. The room was available two months prior to checking and suddenly it wasn't available. No doubt they sold it for more money to another customer. They finally agreed to accommodate us but then put the rest of our family on a top floor. When we went to get our tickets for going up the gondola to sled the women said they were planning to close a 1/2 hour early becausre they were "expecting" high winds. Since our group of 17 were all standing there to go up the hill to sled we agreed that we would give up a 1/2 hour so the kids could still sled. As it was the winds started as we were heading up the hill and it was pretty scary. We finally got to the top and the wind was so bad we couldn't see due to high winds blowing. When we stepped off the gondola, the man loading the gondolas said it's pretty bad. We walked out towards the sledding hill and there was a huge line of people trying to get onto the gondolas to get off the hill. The line was already a block long. we were told it was going to get worse and that a girl had fallen from chair lift #2 because of the wind. We decided for our safety we should just try to get off the hill. We went straight to the back of the line and stood in the blizzard until they loaded us with other stranger's, during Covid, with my immune comprised sister, so they could get more people down faster. When we finally got down I asked the front desk for a refund since we could not sled. I was told that they would not give me back my money because we used their service to RIDE THE GONDOLA! I told them I didn't pay to ride the gondola, I had to ride the gondola to get to the sledding hill and that they should not have let us go up the hill knowing it was already too windy to sled. The following day my Sister and I tried to hot tub. We went at 8:00 am and it was locked. I called the desk three times over an hour to get someone to open it up and we finally gave up. The water park was freezing! Who knew they would have an indoor waterpark, open in the winter, that was not heated. We could not do s'mores because the fire pits were not on... I could go on and on about the dirty carpets, dirty sheets, coffee pots not working, etc, but this post is already so long. We paid 1600 to check in at 4 pm and check out the next day by 11:00 am... that's 14 hours... over 100.00 per hour for basically nothing. I have never in my life written a review for a hotel before but this time I made an exception because I don't want another family to go through what we went through. Super disappointed. I was told by the front desk that they could not address my complaints because they didn't have the authority but a manager would call me. That was two weeks ago and counting. I just checked in this hotel a couple hours ago and I was impressed with the resort it self. It's clean and beautiful. The water is good and fun for kids and the gondola is just right next to it. I only give 3 stars because of that one front desk that checked me in. Maybe they have no Asian have been there that why she treat me differently. I totally understand that she was tired from her long hrs job but please be nice to your customer. I have been in the service industry for more than 20 years, I know how it is. If she doesn't want to work please stay home. I also tried to be nice by spelling out my name for her because it's difficult but she was shut me down by telling me that I don't need to spell it out. I wish I could rate each place individually at the resort! As a whole I would give it 3 stars. I will first off start by saying, I live fairly close to this place but have not been in 30+ years. We wanted to take our daughter here for a birthday celebration. We rented the one bedroom suite with no fireplace. (I would upgrade next time for that). We arrived and the power was out in our building. They kindly said our room was ready early and said power should be back shortly. No biggy- just some stairs. Well the room was dirty. Carpets has not been vacuumed. Crumbs everywhere and on the tables. I understand no power- but at least advise guests the rooms didn't get to be fully cleaned. And wipe off crumbs on the tables. Wasn't welcoming and I wore my shoes the whole time inside. Then we went to the water park. Not much to complain about here. A lot less crowded than we expected and everyone had a great time. For the most part the staff was nice. Bartender was a little rude at one point. But plenty of lockers and chairs. My daughter had a blast. We ate dinner at Noah's. Service was okay, some items missed. But nothing to complain about. Food was pretty good and they have lots of choices. My daughters kids pizza tasted like cardboard- so I wouldn't recommend that one. They had live music in the bar outside and bartenders were friendly and nice atmosphere. Frozen yogurt was nice for dessert. Breakfast- we are at the only breakfast spot and the girls working there are horrible. It's packed and they could really use another spot. I would bring my own or go elsewhere next time. Every time we went up to ask for anything at the counter they were so annoyed. Coffee was not good. Food was par and we paid $40 for two adults and a child. Never going back! Front desk staff are friendly but the resort is in need of some TLC badly. One night was plenty of time. Would bring my own food or eat elsewhere in many cases- oh and bring my own pillow. Did not sleep good! read more

This is a nice place to stay if you want the convenience of restaruants right there on the premises along with access to the Couer de lane bike trail. They did not have the water park open, while we were there, which was great, since we did not want to use that anyways. They did have a rather big convention of sorts, catered it and that made it a bit busier. Noah's was the restaurant of choice, great food, nice people. We took advantage of the Silver Cypress Spa, also located in resort, depending on which building your staying in, its in Bld.,B. Our masseuse was very professional and very talented. My husband and I both had deep tissue massages and after a long day of riding the trails, it was the best. We would highly recomend making an appointment, if you stay, to get a massage with "RAE". read more

I went with my family yesterday to do the gondola ride. I grew up spending summers in Switzerland so I am very familiar with the culture around mountain/ski resorts and have been on dozens of gondola rides. Everything at Silver Mountain was in disrepair. There is so much lacking to make it a special/memorable experience for families... which is sad, because the potential is definitely there! I really wish the owners would invest some money to do fresh paint, plant some flowers, improve the restaurant, train their staff to SMILE, put out fun lawn games for kids.... We took a walk through the indoor water park and could not wait to get out of there. It reeked of chlorine and was so hot and clammy. Everyone looked quite miserable! not a nice environment at all. And several of the activities were shut down due to "low numbers of visitors" which I found strange. It felt like a ghost town, not at all exciting and vacation-like. read more

We went for tubing. This was our first time tubing at Silver Mountain. The employees were rude, the wait time between rides was long, the woman running the "magic carpet" ride back up kept stopping the ride and maniacally yelling at young children. We will not be back for tubing at Silver Mtn. BETTER OPTIONS---Employees at Sweitzer Mountain were enthusiastic and made it fun. Mt Spokane was also a much better experience. Visited their bike park for the first time this last week. Excellent trails from beginner to the very advanced with 3400 feet from top to bottom. Extremely friendly staff and was very easy to rent a bike and buy a pass on line. We booked a studio room with a king bed only to realize it was actually two twin beds pushed together that were clearly not meant to be that way. There was a huge gap that couldn't be fixed and as a result, my partner and I got only a couple hours of sleep. The waterpark is great for families but was greatly understaffed, as was the entire resort. The Flow Rider, one of the waterpark's biggest attractions, would've been at least an hour late because the supervisor was coaching every single person who came for at least 20 minutes. I'd love to want to go again, but the room and experience simply was not worth the money. read more

Ummm, can I live here? We happened upon Silver Mountain Lodging when it was getting late, we needed a place to stay, and my boyfriend decided not to stop in Coeur d' Alene. I'd never heard of Kellogg, ID so we thought we'd be stuck in some crappy motel. Boy were we wrong. Not only was the hotel absolutely lovely, it was only $122/night (it's more with the water park access)!!?!?! This place would be twice as much, even $300/night in Seattle. The girl that checked us in was friendly and helpful. The lodge is actually a complex -- we needed a map to get to our building! The parking lot is gated, which helped me feel more comfortable leaving the truck with all my worldly possessions in it unattended overnight. The room was HUGE. There's a COMPLETE KITCHENETTE (with microwave, fridge [not actually in the kitchen so I thought there wasn't one at first], dishwasher, sink, and even dishes!), and two closets. I mean, you could really live here. They don't have WiFi but there are ports and luckily I had my Ethernet cord with me so I could use my laptop. The bed was comfy, the room was clean, there's a large BALCONY, and my boyfriend enjoyed a drink at the bar while I was showering. Speaking of the shower, it was also gigantic (ADA accessible?) and possibly the only time I've ever seen a handheld option in a hotel shower. My only complaint would be that the shower is pretty much at the same level as the floor without any sort of barrier so the floor got soaked. I doubt I'll be passing through this part of the country again, but I do highly recommend Silver Mountain Lodging hotel. And that's without even using the gondola or water park features. 4.5 Stars read more

Very disappointed in my experience with Silver Mountain Resort customer service and misleading advertising. In short - My family booked a room using their website nearly 2 months ago with the intention of enjoying the water park with our two young kids. As of today (12/13/21) the website says in bold letters on their home page "Silver rapids indoor waterpark INCLUDED WITH EVERY STAY". So we booked our stay and told our kids all about the water park. We were scheduled to go in two days. Today i received a call from our of the employees at silver mountain resort giving me a "courtesy call" to notify me that the water park IS NOT OPEN during out stay - that it is only open during the weekend. I expressed my frustration with the misleading messaging of their website to which she did not acknowledge that it was misleading - she just expressed that she was "doing me a favor" for the courtesy call and said they could refund me with "no penalty". i could go on, but ill spare you. Disappointed and wont likely book with silver mountain resort ever again. My advice to anyone considering booking here is to not put your faith in the information provided on their website but to call ahead and get the inside scoop before you make plans. I wish i didn't have to make a review like this, but bad customer service leaves me with no other option. read more

Every time we went into this "full service" restaurant we couldn't get a server to wait on us. Even when it wasn't busy, and they won't let you order food at the bar! Please, please, please do not waste a dime of your money at this shoddy resort/hotel. When we first checked in, we were horrified to see pubic hair and men's beard trimmings in the sink in the bathroom of our unit. Normally we would have requested to move rooms knowing that the room was not properly cleaned. However, we were exhausted from three days of travel, and decided to stay put so that we could make use of the last two hours of the waterslide park for the day. What a mistake that was not asking to be moved....My wife and our three kids spent the rest of the entire night, tossing and turning as a family with a small baby kept us up all night in the room next-door. Being a parent obviously I've been there and experienced the frustration of a sleepless night with an infant, however, I'm specifically pointing blame at the hotel in this particular case. The walls are paper thin, and even before the baby started crying we could hear every word of the conversation that was happening in the room next to us. Needless to say, an entire sleepless night ruined our next day of skiing that we had so anxiously looked forward to. After a half day on the mountain my kids were exhausted and I had to take them back down. We also planned to ski the following day but my kids could not get out of bed as they were exhausted and feeling sick from not having slept the entire night before. After trying to sell some of my remaining ski tickets we had purchased as part of a package with the hotel, the manager came out and demanded that I get off the property saying I was not able to resell my tickets there. At that point, I decided to go inside the hotel, and see if they would accommodate our inability to ski because of the sleepless night the day before, and they gave us pennies on the dollar for the tickets. Even after explaining the entire situation to the hotel manager, Ashlee, She said she would research it and get back to me with a way to discount the rooms for us for our inconvenience. After returning to my room, she then called me and accused me of selling tickets the day before as if I'm some sort of scalper or something. What a complete joke and lack of respect for hotel clients/customers. She refused to offer any sort of discount not even the removal of our cots that we requested for our third child. While the concept seems great with kids having a waterpark and skiing, the hotel rooms and cleanliness were atrocious, and the staff specifically the manager Ashley were appalling in their lack of concern for clients. Went to Silver Mountain for my first mountain biking experience. I rented a bicycle from their store and it was in pristine condition and ready when I was. Andrew made sure my fit was right and the same bike was available for me the next day. Steven at the base of chair 3 made sure I got on safely and had great music to listen to half way up the mountain. At the end of two days we enjoyed dinner at Noah's which was fabulous. Friday night was really special in that their Bike and Dine ticket got us up the mountains for riding, and back up for a fabulous outdoor bbq which included live music and great views of the mountain. read more

Quite disappointed with the reservations and customer service with FALSE ADVERTISING on the their website. We were looking forward to enjoying the TUBE and STAY package deal listed at $64.75/per night based off of 4 person occupancy...which should come to $259 for 2 adults/2 kids for one night before taxes. The disclaimer on the deals page states based off availability! No black out dates or expiration listed on the package deal!! I called to make a reservation for this coming 4/2/2020, the deluxe studio was available for reservations! I then explained I would like the deal listed for $259/night as advertised on their webpage. Unfortunately they gave me a price quote for $345/night for that same room with the tube and stay option! I asked why they couldn't honor the deal listed and the front desk explained starting March 23 and Thursday-Saturday that offer is not valid??!! Which means that deal is only valid on a Sunday night before March 23!!! Why can't the deal plainly state that in the disclaimer if that is the rules and restrictions for the package deal?? What a let down, as I was excited to enjoy the deal offered as I thought we were within the listed criteria advertised on their webpage! I then spoke with Kathy Hudson one of the managers. She was not interested in honoring the special Falsely advertised!! I find it unfortunate they could not understand they falsely advertised the package deal and were not interested in honoring that price even though they had availability! I had unfortunately told my family we were going to enjoy the tube hill and water park assuming it would be in our budget based off of the package and deals advertised assuming the reservations I was planning met the criteria advertised. We will not be going now, what a shame they were not able to acknowledge that package deal is false advertising and honor it for my family and then correct it! Ok I've been coming here for years, but since I've been back from overseas (we stayed here over Thanksgiving and now this weekend) the customer experience has crashed and burned. I can't explain how disappointed my family is. The unit we had over Thanksgiving was trashed, and now we are waiting after dark to try and get in to make our dinner. For a place that starts knocking at 10 am to get you out for a 11am check out that is really annoying. We will not be back, and this is from a family who has been here 10+ times. read more

Took the kids (6yr & 9yr) tubing. We were encouraged to reserve our time slots & pay online, which we did. We went from 1pm-3pm. The gondola ride up was about 20 minutes, so make sure you arrive early, not to cut into your tubing time. The tubing hill is divided into 4 lanes. The tubes are for single riders. But you can tie your tubes together and go down at once. There is an employee that tells everyone when to go. Once at the bottom, there is a conveyer belt that you stand on that brings you back to the top. I was disappointed with the run. Not only myself and my kids but a lot of people had to get off their tubes to push themselves to get going again. The run was super slow. The snow conditions were perfect for tubing too. They need to steepen their slope in my opinion. Besides that, the experience was great. Employees were very friendly and kept the hill organized. read more

We have stayed a few times and have always enjoyed the water park. This time we spent the afternoon (Sunday 2/17/19) on the sledding hill. It was so fun, I think 2 hours of sledding was the perfect amount. We took the later session, so the last 45 minutes the slope lights were on and it was beautiful. The employees manning the sledding hill were friendly and one was helpful in giving people a good push for a great start. We ate dinner at Noah's. I was not impressed with the service, (we waited over 30 minutes for somebody to take our order). Once the food was delivered, well let's just say it almost made the wait worthwhile. Cons: Took our family of 9 snow tubing. Check-in was easy and the gondola ride was fun, but they way overbooked the snow tubing time slots. Two of our party had to wait an extremely long time to even get a tube to use and the lines to get back up the hill were so long that in the whole 2-hour session, you could only get about 6 runs for 30 seconds of fun. The staff was stressed and one of the young lady staff members was gruff and pretty much barked orders at everyone. Finally, they started making everyone trade tubes at every turn. Definitely not worth the money they charge...at least on this day. TIp: get on the gondola at least 15 min to 20 min early and be up on the mountain in line BEFORE your time session starts or you might not get to sled very much. Pros: The Silver Rapids Indoor water part was great for all ages and if we had to do it over again, we'd spend two days there and skip the snow tubing. read more

We came here for a weekend away with the family and weren't disappointed. While it is a little spendy, our room was fantastic! Very clean, spacious, fully supplied kitchen, comfy bed. We had a problem with the air conditioning in our room and they promptly sent someone to fix it. That didn't work so they moved us including offering to help us pack and move our stuff. The indoor water park was fun for the kiddos. The 2 big single slides were lame but everything else was good. It's a water park, lots of loud crazy kids. Towels and life jackets provided. Outdoor activities included a movie under the stars, lots of outdoor games like badminton, cornhole, etc. fire pits, hot tubs. Several dining options. Noah's Canteen was great. My only complaint all weekend was really really crappy pillows! Horrible even. Bring your own :) read more

TUBING PARK REVIEW ONLY: Adult/Child fees are two dollars difference--seems like a shi**y discount therefore charge a flat rate and ditch deceptive marketing. 25.00 is what you pay for the tubing park which allows you a two hour window of using the tubing park. Take into consideration the 30 minute gondola ride up and down the mountain. Parking is spacious, ticket booth is easy to access and the staff have been pleasantly helpful. The gondola ride can be a bit much for those fearful of heights, foul weather, isolation and WIND. The wind will change your life if you fear being a bird on a wire dangling from some cable car contraption ran by Kellogg's finest. Once you get off the gondola you sorta wander around trying to get oriented with your surroundings. I wish they had a map handy of what is where for those of us that are infrequent visitors to the lodge. Speaking of the lodge: it's a vast disorganized mess of a room. I wish the resort would help patrons keep this room from becoming a nightmare of wet clutter, chairs and people. There's food, soda, snacks and booze inside the lodge. Do you enjoy waiting in long lines? The tubing park is booked in two hour blocks. The first hour is congested and old people and babies typically last about an hour before they fade away. The lines are not an issue on the second hour of your tubing time. read more

Let's start with the positives. The water park was a great choice for the kids and was fun! The condo room itself was good, infact, better than good. It was the perfect size for the family of 6. Now the not so positive. The food at the restaurant was overpriced and the cost for activities was a bit overpriced as well. The neighboring room had an alarm that went off 2 mornings in a row at 4AM. For such a nice room, the walls should clearly be more sound proof. In addition to this, after repeated calls the 1st morning to the front desk, they did nothing to resolve the issue. Clearly there was no one in the room with the alarm going off. Finally, after 2 hours the clock shut off. Had to try and sleep in and when house keeping came by and was asked to come back in an hour, they never did. We had to take out our own trash and we let the desk know, again, they didnt seen to care. AM #2, clock went off again and whe. The desk was called, they did resolve it with in 1 hour but it should not have occurred in the 1st place. The staff claimed it was a self managed unit. The issue was not one that should be have occurred in the 1st place. Point being the staff needs either better leadership and training or needs to be replaced. I will give the resort another try, but will be cautious of staying again. read more

The rental area was the least COVID-safe thing I've done since COVID started. Many people not wearing masks. No one was enforcing the posted signs that said face coverings required. Not safe for customers or staff. If I had known it was this bad I wouldn't have come up. Go to Schweitzer - they were much safer. read more

Our family loves this place. Always a great time. We always try to add a couple days in their water park to end our family vacations.
