Absolutely great neighborhood wine bar! The owners are definitely chefs kiss. Having owned La ciccia and now coming over to the west side to bring their charm. The food is made in the kitchen by the owner, at least the time we were there. The space is gorgeous! The wine list spectacular. The recs for pairing and your palette was like going to Italy and having someone local give you advice. Small place, gets loud, so I'd sit at the bar if you Wanta to be where the actions at! Fantastic place! Will def be back!

One wine store goes down, and another pops up... It's been a hot minute since I last went out for some fun at west portal. Went out to try this wine bar. Food was limited to small bites so we ordered a lot. Food came out quick and delicious. I really enjoyed the anchovy cheese chocolate situation they had going on. They have a good wine collection to choose from... And if you get caught in a pickle, don't be afraid to ask for recommendations. Out of the multiple bottles we've had, they were all recpmmended and not one bad recommendation. One might need a little patience on busier nights but I do believe it's worth the wait. The place has a nice cozy feel and operated by a very friendly Italian couple. Great to converse with and adds to the allure of this place.

A really cute neighborhood spot in West Portal. Really wide selection of wines and comes with small popcorn bites. A great place to have a drink and chat with friends, though it is quite small! Service was good and would definitely come back!

Beloved former owners of SF's Noe Valley restaurant, La Ciccia, opened the beautiful neighborhood wine bar/bottle shop @binubonusf. They have an extensive selection of wines from small, passionate producers, perfectly paired with delightful Italian small plates. We had the Lambrusco, Nebbiolo and paired with little bites of heaven in the ricotta & anchovy toast with bitter chocolate shavings, the mortadella with pistachios & stracciatella cheese with capers, marinated seafood & pachino tomatoes with citrus zest. West Portal has a new Gem located across the street from Elena's. Perfect place for a date night or to meet up with friends.

Came back to West Portal to get a few updates . First it seems there has been some changes and delays in some store openings . What I did run into was a pleasant surprise. Another new wine bar low key gem in what used to be " Que Syrah". This newer wine bar is called " Binu Bonu"and it is owned by the former Founders of " La Ciccia" an Italian Sardinian Restaurant and San Francisco staple located in Noe Valley. Binu Bonu is relaxing place to enjoy some wine in the between time before dinner in the early or late evening in West Portal. I ordered the Northern Italian wine Marco Secondo Valpolicella Classico 2019. Since it's a red wine it had hints of red fruits like cherries and strawberries. I was on repeat with this particular wine. It was tasty and not too sweet . They also offer bread , cheese, and snacks to pair with the wines. The decor and atmosphere has neighborhood feel. It's good to see new businesses in West Portal but there have also been recent fires affecting some West Portal businesses. Overall Binu Bonu is a solid wine bar to go to when visiting West Portal. I found a new gem that's shines through its wine Go to Binu Bonu before or after you do the West Portal fine dine

Ummm...why does this establishment only have 4.8 stars?! It needs 5 stars at a minimum!! Lorrella and Massimilano, hailing from La Cicca fame, are the sweetest people in the world. We sat at the bar and had the most wonderful time chit chatting about favorite sushi spots in the city, the quirky eccentricities of winemakers, and what defines a natural wine. Oh, and we had the most delicious octopus salad and a taste of some spicy spicy chocolate! I do like Unwined in West Portal but sorry, Binu Bonu takes the cake! Look forward to many more outings here.

Love discovering a new spot! Cozy, bright, beautiful minimalist interiors and high ceilings. Small bites. Great Italian wine. It's good to have a chic wine bar in the neighborhood. Service was thoughtful, thanks to the owner-tandem who run Binu Bonu. My group occupied the whole bar area. They are serving cold starters like octopus salad, cheeses, and small pinxtos type fare to pair with the wine.

Incredible selection of wines. They were so knowledgeable and very friendly. It was a perfect date night spot, or a good place for friends to catch up.

Walked in and found the place very nice. You have your bar in front and a combination of chairs and tables throughout the room, with some very nice artwork, atmosphere, and the bathroom tiles were delightful, felt very rustic and modern. There was only 1 worker that day as it was an early weekend, but the service was fast, she was attentive to the patrons that was there and also helped us with only ordering red as we both did not have an interest in drinking white wine. The Charcuterie board options were good, and we got the meat, cheese, and olives (sorry, I forgot which exact ones). It was a great pairing to go with the wine, and I'll definitely be back to try more of their appetizers. This wine bar is hidden from plain view and tucked away in the Excelsior/Outer Mission. Some friends and I discovered this little gem while looking for a place to have a nightcap. Sippin' Wine Bar is located on the second floor of the Bottoms Up Bar, but the vibe is totally different. Not sure if the two bars are actually affiliated, but they are like night and day. The stairs leading up to the bar are lit up and the interior of the bar is just absolutely gorgeous! It's spacious and low lit with an extremely sexy ambience. The decor is just out of this world! They have the cutest tables and sofas. The lamps and artwork are very unique but visually appealing, and the tables are set with candles that create a very sensual vibe. There's a small but adorable little patio where you can relax and get some air. The interior designer deserves a pat on the back AND a few glasses of wine (wink wink). Speaking of wine, they have tons and tons of it! Their selection is extensive and they make it really obvious with all of their lovely wine bottles that are on display. I really enjoyed their Angeline Pinot Noir as well as the Kungfu Girl Riesling. They serve food here as well. We had just come from dinner, but a few of us who shall remain nameless (cough cough) were still hangry and ordered garlic noodles, garlic fries, and tater tots. Yep, somebody's breath was stankin' but it wasn't mine! Although I didn't try any of the food, It smelled wonderful. There was no food left behind, so I'm assuming that it was delicious! The owner Shirley was fantastic! She happily hosted our group and let us sample several different wines from her collection. She mingled with us as well and talked about the business. The bar is still relatively new and opened a little over 2 years ago, so she is still trying to generate more business. I'm hoping that more people will frequent this place because I really enjoyed it and would love to see it stick around. So glad we stumbled upon this spot, and I'm looking forward to many more future visits.

Located in the legendary Mission District of San Francisco, this wine bar is a great spot to catch up with friends and enjoy small bites and yummy crafted cocktails. Their decor is very chic and I especially loved all of the hardware, glasses, tables, and benches. This place was styled by a great design artist. Even though the place was pretty packed and can be kind of noisy, I still felt very calm amongst all the healthy plants and loved the sophisticated 70s inspired glassware. Another great feature of this place is that you can buy most of the plants because they have some for sale so after a couple of cocktails, I was ready to redecorate my whole house with all the plants. I ordered a yummy Rose blend that was super crisp. Also enjoyed the Truffle Fungi! A delicious Shiitake and oyster mushrooms with parmesan and arugula on toasted bread. Their Spanish inspired potatoes were delicious with their dipping sauce. They have lots of gatherings there and DJ sets on the weekends. Lastly, a photographer would die to take pictures here. There is no bad shot as the design artist made sure every section of this cute wine bar was picture perfect. Loved all my photos and videos. I look forward to returning to this exquisite wine bar!

You get perks as a thank-you for doing your part in making the City a cleaner place. We had just had a lovely time at another participating business (Beehive) and planned on Arcana being our final stop. Thankfully I was able to use the restroom without a fee, with my gear held up outside by the security team. While waiting in the restroom line, I told a staff member about all this, and the worker seemingly went up to the front to find out what's going on. The line took a few minutes, my friends also bumped into me, and I told them I'd likely wait for them outside the business post-restroom while they finished their wine. Already reported to the Mayor's Office. Maybe I'll add BBB. Should be honest and equitable! Four out of 200+ reviews by me have been one star, so I rarely share negativity. It's all rather unfortunate as other visits here went off without an issue. I warned a group of four about all this while I waited out front, and after talking to the front door folks, they left and thanked me for the advice. Please be careful if you visit here. . . .
