We were pretty disappointed with this experience overall. We purchased tickets for the truffle event and were seated right away, but then waited about 20 minutes for the first course--which ended up being a single chip with crème fraîche and a small amount of caviar served on a large plate. Waiting that long for one chip felt unreasonable and set the tone for the night. The rest of the courses were just okay, but they also took a long time to come out. You could see the staff running around frantically, which made the whole evening feel disorganized. Since this was a ticketed event and not open to the public, the restaurant would have known exactly how many guests were attending, so the pacing issues were surprising. For the price point, this event was positioned as a high-level dining experience, but it fell very short. A $400+ ticketed dinner simply wasn't worth the cost. We've been to many similar events and high-end restaurants in the past, and this was by far one of the most disappointing experiences we've had. A couple of highlights: the filet mignon carpaccio was delicious, and the truffle pasta was excellent. Unfortunately, nothing else really hit the mark. Several items came out cold, and overall the menu didn't impress beyond those two dishes. Cleanliness was also an issue. The bathroom hand dryer was visibly dirty and full of grime, which didn't give a great impression--especially during a special event where expectations are higher. We won't be returning. This spot seems better suited for wine and small cheese plates rather than a full dining experience. On a positive note, the surrounding area is very cute and walkable. We ended the night at a nearby bar called Sherwood, which was clean, welcoming, and had great cocktails--highly recommend that spot if you're in the area.

Great spot with phenomenal service! Stopped in here for a drink and to have a couple of apps before dinner. It has a great vibe inside and an extensive wine list. We got their bruschetta and prawns and both were very tasty! Don't think you could go wrong with any of the menu items, but when in town will definitely stop by!

Stopped by while we waited for dinner and it was such a cool vibe. Came right before happy hour ended and service was quick! Comfy couches with a dark setting made it a fun wine bar feel. Pretty easy parking in the residential area

Five stars across the board! For Food, service and yes even the ambiance. Unwine'd SF is a lively spot to get a great meal and even better tasting wine! I went for the lamb chops and it did not disappoint. Highly recommended. Our server was polite and made some great recommendations as well. Thanks! The only wrinkle in the evening is looking for parking (if you're visiting the area like us) so getting in to the area early is recommended or use public transit. Overall: Definitely on my short list to try again on our next visit. Do stop by and enjoy!

This is my neighborhood wine bar. Great selection of wine (and other beverages) and food! Plenty of seating (they have another room adjacent to the main area) and great service!

Stopped in for a quick drink at Unwine'd, conveniently located right across from the West Portal Muni station. It's a great spot to unwind after hopping off the train. They serve only wine and beer, and the beer I ordered was nice and cold--just what I needed. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax.

Fun date night spot and they have happy hour mon-Fri 4-6pm which included some wines and food! We got wine, oysters ($2 each) and a Margarita pizza!

I found this by accident because I was craving for wine that day. I went down on West Portal Station Muni and walked around the stores. Boom! I found a cute wine bar close to the muni line. The oysters are $2 dollars on a happy hour. 6 pieces maximum. I can say it's super fresh, clean an yummy. I love how the vinegar tasted, it's a must for me for my condiments. The wine is also on happy hour I think $2 off? I got a piñot grigio. I came in early around 5:30 pm, and when I left the place is packed. The ambiance is cozy, they have more seating area in the back for more quiet setting. The restroom smells nice and clean.

Amazing Wine Bar, this place is a hidden gem! Tucked away in West Portal, this is definitely a popular spot for happy hour. Their happy hour is every day from 4 to 6 PM. You can get $2/oysters, 25% off HH bottles, $5/beers, and $8/limoncello shots. I haven't had lemon cello shots since traveling to Italy, it's not common to find in San Francisco. However, their shots are delicious! We absolutely loved their wine selection. The co-owners are Italian and Greek, and they have a great selection of old and new old wines to suit your palate. I highly recommend trying the Greek wines because you likely won't get them at too many places. We started off our happy hour with some small bites. The shrimp scampi was so flavorful, the fried zucchini was perfectly battered with a delicious yogurt sauce, and their Greek salad was so authentic and refreshing. We moved on to ordering the lamb chops, and I have to say this is some of the best lamb chops in the Bay Area! Not gamey, super flavorful. Their Roman styled pizza was to die for. I ordered the Emilia-Romagna which had handmade Italian sausage. I'm still dreaming of this cheesy pizza. I was in love! My husband is WSET certified, and he commended their wine selection, and the knowledge of the servers in recommending well balanced wines to go with our meals. They also have a cute little shop area if you would like to purchase any of the wines. Their back room is super Instagram and I heard that it's also available for rent for private events. Highly recommend that you check out this hidden gem! You won't be disappointed. ==== Hi I'm @jetsetjanine. 100+ country world traveler and 100+ Michelin Star diner. Absolutely unreal experience. Champagne was flowing, vibes were on point, and the white truffles did not stop. When they say truffle night, they mean it, shaved generously over multiple courses until it literally felt like they made it rain Alba white truffles. What really stood out was the value. For the quality, the amount of truffle, and the overall execution, the pricing was more than fair. You could tell this wasn't a gimmick or a stingy tasting this was a full-on indulgent night done right.

    Amazing truffle dishes!

Went to champagne and truffles! It was so delicious. I plan to attend this event every year. The amount of truffles between five course was divine!

Date: Thursday, May 9th, 2024 Time: around 6:30pm Party of: 3 What: Pre-Dinner Drinks and Snacks *Falcone Syrah ($17) *Leviathan Cab GLS ($20) *Spreads Platter ($20) *Brut Rose GLS ($14) *Bardos Tempranillo GLS ($15) *Amethystos GLS ($18) *Château La Croix Montlabert, Saint Émilion Grand Cru: glass ($20) *Château La Croix Montlabert, Saint Émilion Grand Cru: bottle ($78) *40% Off Bottle (-$31.20) I was meeting up some friends. We were having dinner nearby, but decided to check out Unwine'd beforehand. They got here first and grabbed the couch by the front window. They have happy hour until 6pm which they were trying to make. Unfortunately they were too late, so we didn't partake in their HH deals. I got the glass of bubbles and the last red listed. Both were good. Exactly what I was craving at the time. Tho they did have bottle specials which we did not notice until the end. So if you are getting something that that's included in the 40% off, I'd say buy the bottle. A much better deal since a glass of my red was $20, while the bottle was $46.80. For tipping, I'd be careful of tipping on anything to go. I realized we tipped on the bottle we bought to bring to dinner as well as everything we consumed here. They have those portable CC machines, so it's easy to just hit a percentage without thinking about it. If I got a real receipt, I probably would have written out an amount versus just pushing a percentage button. Good spot to grab some wine. Would love to come back and check out their HH specials. This was my 2nd time visiting Unwine'd and it was just as amazing at the first. Starting off with a bottle of the house whites and the prosciutto Burrata *chefs kiss* was so great! The server was very nice and checked in with us regularly. It is a very chill atmosphere for a Saturday night. I will be going back

This wine bar is hidden from plain view and tucked away in the Excelsior/Outer Mission. Some friends and I discovered this little gem while looking for a place to have a nightcap. Sippin' Wine Bar is located on the second floor of the Bottoms Up Bar, but the vibe is totally different. Not sure if the two bars are actually affiliated, but they are like night and day. The stairs leading up to the bar are lit up and the interior of the bar is just absolutely gorgeous! It's spacious and low lit with an extremely sexy ambience. The decor is just out of this world! They have the cutest tables and sofas. The lamps and artwork are very unique but visually appealing, and the tables are set with candles that create a very sensual vibe. There's a small but adorable little patio where you can relax and get some air. The interior designer deserves a pat on the back AND a few glasses of wine (wink wink). Speaking of wine, they have tons and tons of it! Their selection is extensive and they make it really obvious with all of their lovely wine bottles that are on display. I really enjoyed their Angeline Pinot Noir as well as the Kungfu Girl Riesling. They serve food here as well. We had just come from dinner, but a few of us who shall remain nameless (cough cough) were still hangry and ordered garlic noodles, garlic fries, and tater tots. Yep, somebody's breath was stankin' but it wasn't mine! Although I didn't try any of the food, It smelled wonderful. There was no food left behind, so I'm assuming that it was delicious! The owner Shirley was fantastic! She happily hosted our group and let us sample several different wines from her collection. She mingled with us as well and talked about the business. The bar is still relatively new and opened a little over 2 years ago, so she is still trying to generate more business. I'm hoping that more people will frequent this place because I really enjoyed it and would love to see it stick around. So glad we stumbled upon this spot, and I'm looking forward to many more future visits.
