This is the worst "fast food" establishment I have ever been to. First of all, I ordered a plain cheese quesadilla and was charged the same price of a chicken quesadilla. This was obviously a scam since the reason a chicken quesadilla costs $8+ is because of the protein, not the inexpensive cheese. Next, after waiting for over 45 minutes, my simple order of a cheese quesadilla never reached me. Eventually I just had to leave the restaurant losing myself close to $9. The staff did not apologize at all for the delay even though there were over 20 customers waiting for their food. Take my advice, don't waste your money at this place. Myself, and many others who were there tonight, won't be going there ever again. Update: I gave this restaurant a second chance after my friends really wanted to go here. Once again I was extremely disappointed. This time, the staff was fast and nice, however the food was overpriced and over-seasoned. I bought a chicken quesadilla for $9 and ended up making my own at home later that night. Please spend your money elsewhere. read more

Having grown up in Binghamton, I've been constantly amazed at how much downtown has developed with new restaurants during the time I've lived elsewhere. Binghamton Hots is BY FAR my favorite! I've dined at Hots so many times I've lost count, and this 5 star review is long overdue. This place has everything you could want: light and healthy lunch options, unbelievably delicious dinner options, to-die-for late night snacks, and, somewhat surprisingly, a top-of-the-line and gourmet catering menu -- all for great prices. If you're looking for a quick, delicious lunch, definitely stop here. Panini, great salads, friendly staff, fast service, nice atmosphere. You can also call ahead to order take out. Some of my favorites: pear and gorgonzola salad with grilled chicken, spiedie sub (2nd best spiedies in town, only next to Lupo's), veggie burger, sweet potato fries. No free water. Upon request they denied, claiming they are not obligated because they do not serve alcohol. This is a representation of the stupidity of their management, clearly they do not give a damn about their customers. Even asking for a cup full of ice, they still denied after talking to the manager. Food is decent, but if a customer was choking. They would offer you an option to purchase a bottle of water to wash down that mozzarella stick. *edit* I was/am angry at the time I wrote this. Their food is good--drunk or not. The white girl in me loves their seasonal specials. Their staff is SO NICE!!!!!! Highly recommend their mozzarella sticks and salt potatoes as well as butternut squash soup. The line while you're drunk is worth the wait. read more

Great food but very slow service. Two nights in a row I waited over 20 minutes for my food. They had only two workers but a full restaurant. Would be great if they were faster but the wait isn't worth the food. They should be prepared for the rush at night. read more

I had a great experience. I came for restaurant week and I had the salad with glazed pecans and pears' the bacon cheeseburger and for dessert brownie with raspberry sauce. the food was great other than the fact they forgot to say no onion in the salad. I'm also not sure why they don't have the restroom clearly marked. the service was outstanding; from my server Corey to the owner Dave. they are very nice people. Binghamton Hots catered my outdoor wedding reception on the lake. We chose them because they had both my husband's local food (spiedies from Bing) and mine ("hot plate" from Rochester). They were great! David, the owner, was friendly and easy going. They are very reasonably priced. Tons of people complimented the food at the party. Yesterday was my first time going to the establishment HOTS and the food was delicious the service was great, I liked that they didn't just serve meat they also served food that accommodated for vegans and vegetarians alike I highly recommend people attend this place and come to this great establishment!! 5 star rating!!!! read more

Have been here a few times now and I'm always excited to go back! Food is always hot and delicious; my favorites so far have been the buffalo mozz sticks and chicken philly. The staff has been super friendly in my experience. I like to get there before the drunken hordes and chat with whoever is behind the counter. :) Only loses one star for charging for water! read more

I've been here twice, once with a friend and I did not get food. He asked for a plate without the burgers (so pretty much just mac salad and home fries) and they did NOT understand. They kept telling him his order made no sense. We were completely sober they were being very rude. There was no line and it took him like 20 minutes to get the two sides. I went the other night. I ordered a veggie burger plate because i'm a VEGETARIAN which you think would be implied and it costs two dollars extra.. whatever i'm over it... they were very rude to us, we finally get our plates and mine has meat sauce all over it. I go up and ask for a refund or new plate, I didn't ask for meat sauce and didn't know it came with it and they acted as if it was all my fault and they weren't going to take it back. Finally they did and another twenty minutes later I got my veggie plate which only had one patty when they specifically told me it would have two... didn't even mention it just sat down and ate. Plate wasn't even good, probably had spit or hair in it knowing the type of people working there. ALSO no free water, you have to pay like 2$ for water. Needless to say will never return. read more

Great lunch spot for students and professionals alike. You'll be greeted by friendly staff and quick service, a huge array of sandwich/salad options, and a unique/fun atmosphere. Recent BU grads. Love Bing Hots! Great food, great staff. They catered a luncheon for us last time and it was so delicious! We will def be calling them from now on!! I went to Bing Hots last weekend. I ordered a garbage plate and requested a combo plate, specifically red hot and cheeseburger. They do not have this on their menu but are willing to make it... For an extra charge. I'm from Rochester, and I can tell you that none of the hots' in Rochester charge for this. I agreed to pay the extra money. I then was requesting toppings for my plate and when I said relish, the cashier told me that was extra. This is when I got upset. Why is it that tons of other toppings, including hot sauce, ketchup, mustard, onions, and so on, are free, but not relish... "It's just relish, why should I have to pay extra" I asked. The cashier couldn't believe I would ask such a question and told me it's the owner's policy. Well then, I'll pass on the relish. Finally, I wanted to roll my plate into wrap, because they don't have place wraps on their menu (they should)so I asked for a tortilla wrap on the side. EXTRA CHARGE. GTFO, this place claims it brought the Rochester plate to Binghamton, but don't be fooled. It's over priced, its menu is limited, and it's quality is low. Their location is the only thing that's keeping them in business. Requesting for a new garbage place joint asap. read more
