My girlfriend and I stopped in here an 1.5 hours before a graduation we were attending downtown. Now I've been here on a packed weekend during the bar crowd and you wouldn't even know this place has the room it does or food even but thankfully it was a weekday and like 6pm so there wasn't much of a crowd. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's your basic sports bar definitely more than enough TV's to cover whatever sport you'd want to watch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered pretzel bites with beer cheese the pretzels were very salty but warm and in my opinion better without the cheese it definitely is more like nacho cheese rather than beer cheese but it's not bad just nothing to write home about. I got the Caprese Fried Chicken sandwich and it was pretty good and the fries in my opinion are the real show stopper crispy but not burnt the perfect fry homemade I believe too. My girlfriend got the Chicken Philly in a wrap and she enjoyed it. We had a new server training with Julianna and he was great very attentive asked if I wanted a refill when my drink was gone. I Stopped in the bar during the tail end of happy hour after work. I didn't intend to stop by, but I'm happy I did. I had a great overall experience. It was wing night so naturally I ordered wings. The wings don't seem to be breaded so that's good for me. Some people like breaded they have boneless. The menu was affordably priced and the staff were busy but extremely helpful. and super friendly too . It's busy so, if you're planning on calling to try and do a pick up order or make a reservation ? You might be better off just showing up and getting the vibe . They still have Sam Adams cold snap on draft and that's a seasonal beer that's hard to find right now, so I was happy to find it. Not a totally terrible place but I visited early in the day when it wasn't busy and the lady behind the bar was straight up nasty! All I wanted was a beer and some finger food but the lady taking my order seemed like I was bothering her. She was even nasty with another customer blaming him for whatever the issue was. At first I thought maybe the customer was wrong till I got the same nasty service. If you can tolerate shitty service which you may not notice if you plan on getting drunk and being incoherent then stop by. The food itself isn't bad, I really wish for any business if an employee is having a bad day to stay home or don't get a job serving the public. read more

Takes sooo long to even take the table's order. When waiter finally came after 30 min, he attempted some strange banter. After an hour of waiting, he came back to say they had received lots of DoorDash orders and that's why our meals were taking over an hour. Not sure how that gets priority but overall bad experience. You'll find this place in the former Colonial space (under new management), so it's in a great spot downtown. They have an extensive drinks menu, but they don't actually explicitly list any of their non-alcoholic options (soda, etc.) nor do they have mocktail options for those abstaining from drinking. So unless you want soda or water, alcohol is the only option. The food is pretty good. In particular, Pretzel Bites appetizer - Delicious! The saltiness and flavor of the bites themselves were delicious and the sauce was great! Grilled Cheese with Tomato - This is served on Texas toast so it was huge! But they're cut into smaller bites which are easier to manage. The perfect grilled cheese! Cheesecake - A classic cheesecake with raspberry drizzle. Sports bars aren't really my vibe, but if they're yours, I think you'll have a blast. Wouldn't mind coming with friends to watch a game here again. read more

GREAT place to grab a bite to eat, a cocktail, watch a game. The food is consistently excellent - the service is prompt. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The owner must be a big fan of Christmas, because right now (December) the place is decorated to the hilt! I don't think there's a spot in the whole place that isn't covered by tinsel, ornaments, candles, wreaths and whatever else they could find. Went here in April, after a show at the forum. The crab rangoon nachos were great, and the honey mustard wings were very solid. Grand slam burger was delicious. Fries were also solid, nothing special. Drinks were very good. Service was excellent. read more

Second time here since reopening. I didn't write a review then because I didn't think I would go back so what would be the point. We get there and no games are on the TVs - fine we're a little early. We order drinks (cocktail and beer). I watch as the bartenders are on their phones instead of making the drinks or even just pouring the beer. We decided just to get regular cheeseburgers and fries and a side salad for me. Overcooked, salad had no dressing and the waitress argued with me when I mentioned that. We tried to order something else but the waitress never came back to confirm with us on an ingredient/ preparation so we just didn't order. Waited for a second round and then left. Someone finally came over and asked if I had been helped; I said no but I was just waiting on a pick up order. He asked for the name and walked away. Didn't come back and I saw him chatting again - I assume then that my food wasn't ready? Someone else came over a few minutes later and managed to get my order - he was very nice and apologized for the wait. I don't mind waiting for my order, especially if it's busy - but when I watch people stand around and walk past me? They don't come check on me? Or communicate with me about food I already paid for? That I have a problem with. When I got home to eat, the food was hot and better than the burger I got before but the wrap had too much chicken (and too big pieces) and not enough romaine for a caesar wrap. Online it didn't specify that it came with fries so I ordered a side so I have two things of fries that I don't need. But no drinks were available online, not even just a can of soda or water. I wasn't expecting to get an alcoholic drink to go but surely I could get a Coke? Nope. But saves me money I guess. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, it's just a loud bar. Food is meh, but hot at least. We (10 retirees/former colleagues) met at Courtside for lunch on 3/19/24. Our host, Justin, seated and took our drink orders promptly. They have a large selection of delicious craft beers from around NY State and elsewhere. He was very patient while the 10 of us gave him our food orders. The menu provided us with a large number of choices and the food was excellent. In fact one of our 70 year old diners described his Reuben as the best he had ever had. My Buffalo Chicken Melt was excellent as well. Parking was not a problem for us on a Tuesday at lunchtime (most of us were parked on the street right in front of the restaurant) but might be at other times.
