Had to be cheddar cheese instead of the usual mozzarella. The crust was soft and bready and had an off-putting taste I didn't really like. Now, had I been drunk at the time....I might be telling a different story. But hey, they've been in business for 92 years. For a local dive bar that's a pretty solid run. I don't know if I'll ever go back myself, but I think there's a lot of folks who would really like it there, so I'd imagine come 2102, another 92 years from now, they'll still be cranking out the Hot Pie like they've been doing since Woodrow Wilson occupied the White House.
