Three Cs: cream cheese crepes! We ended up here at 7 am on a trip south and ordered a Farmer's Skillet and Cream Cheese Crepes to share between the two of us. Service was very warm, our waitress was bubbly and attentive. The food came out in 10 minutes! The skillet was very good. Cheesy, lots of sausage gravy and meat; the potatoes were cubed, browned on the outside and fit in perfectly with the rest of the dish. We got a pair of sunny side eggs on top, it comes with toast and jam as well. Very filling. As for the crepes, you get three. They are freshly made and filled to the brim with really smooth, rich cream cheese and topped with berries and a bit of whip. I haven't had crepes this good for a long time. They are totally worth it and the portion won't make your stomach hurt. Apparently these guys recently renovated and everything is shiny and clean. Really easy to find off the highway as well. This is the epitome of a local restaurant, with a hometown feel. We love this place and its nice to see the owner there most times we visit. The cream cheese frosting looked like it would be sticky sweet but was the perfect balance of cream cheese and sweet. Portion was huge. Boyfriend had the Billy the Kid. Traditional 2 egg breakfast with hashbrowns and bacon. He also added on a biscuit since they were homemade. Huge portion. Biscuit was a little dry and very dense. Four and a half stars is hard to believe, or I might have ordered incorrectly. I was recommended the chicken fried steak, there is no steak in this meal, I'm not sure what it was but it was flavorless, may have been newspaper or cardboard. The gravy was exactly the same, did I come on an off day, no flavor of sausage in the gravy, no flavor of gravy in the gravy. I covered everything with Tabasco and ate it cause I was hungry. They gave me a steak knife, thank god I didn't need it, as it looked as though it was just wiped clean after use, yuk! Even my glass of water came with extras on the outside the glass. For $14.99 I expect to be blown away with excellent flavors coming from everything! We have been here a couple times now and most of what we have had has been so good! Eggs Benedict is a favorite of ours and unfortunately both times it has fallen short. The sauce both times has been it's down fall. The first time it was super runny and very lemony and the second time the consistency was perfect but no flavor. I don't have the opportunity to go out for breakfast very often. But this weekend my sister was visiting and we decided to go out for brunch. Knowing how insane most breakfast places are on weekends, I was a bit nervous. But I checked Yelp, and thanks to it and a few coworker recommendations regarding Billy's lunch menu, we were encouraged. We got to Billy's at noon and were pleasantly surprised to see that it wasn't super busy. This didn't worry me- they are pretty new, after all. The waitress assured us, "Yep, we serve breakfast all day, sister!" The staff was so friendly, and we found a comfy booth in the corner. We promptly got our menus, coffee and water. My sister ordered the French toast and I the crepes topped with fresh raspberries. We both opted to make our meals a "full house-" meaning two eggs, two slices of bacon and a (big) link of sausage- all for $2.99. While I didn't have my timer out, I swear we got our food in about five minutes, barely enough time to go over the trivia questions in the little periodical ever-present in American cafés. My sister said her French toast was amazing- just like mom's, which is saying something. She wouldn't let me try a bite. Too many restaurants ruin perfectly good French toast by getting all fancy, often with disappointing results- not Billy's Cafe. You just don't mess with the classics! My crepes were also light and amazing, with über fresh raspberries on top, the cream cheese filling not too sweet. My extra-crispy bacon melted in my mouth, the polish-style sausage link was fantastic, and my eggs-over-easy were easy, well, like Sunday morning. The service was great- coffee and water refills offered just often enough, and everyone really friendly and relaxed. I will definitely be retuning to Billy's Cafe for breakfast and probably a lunch here or there! Although maybe I shouldn't have given it such a glowing review- once the secret is out, I might not have such an easy time getting a table. read more

Just moved to the area, have been to Billy's twice now. The service was awesome. The food was awesome. The coffee, awesome. The music....ummm....not awesome! It was REALLY loud modern country (ick - for me at least) both times. I'm hoping that's not always the case and perhaps we were just seated under a speaker or something. Bacon was thick and crispy, pancakes were fluffy and came with lots of butter. The house corned beef hash had tons of veggies too (yum!) Eggs were exactly as ordered. Between this and Café Burlington, I'd say they both taste fantastic - Billy's is for quantity and Café Burlington is for quality. Some times you want one over the other - go to Billy's when you want more. read more

Excellent local diner! We did the chuckanut scenic Drive and looked for breakfast afterwards. Friendly, hometown atmosphere with delicious scratch made food. I had scrambled eggs, bacon and pancakes and all three were absolutely fantastic. The eggs tasted farm fresh, bacon was crispy and chewy and flavorful. And the pancakes were absolute perfection. This review has nothing to do with the food or service. Yesterday I took my 4 year old grandson to breakfast. It so happened that Billy's was open so we went in. Upon entering I noticed every window was covered with a lowered shade or covering, couldn't see inside. This seemed strange. Upon entering I discovered the reason. It seems that they have never heard of or practiced COVID protocols. Not one member of their staff had a mask on, not the server, not the cook, and none of the kitchen staff. Every table and stool was being used for seating. Apparently this was a COVID free zone. It does make me wonder what other health protocols they choose to ignore. Do they bother to wash their hands after using the restroom before they cook or serve the food? Do they care about the quality or safety of the prep area? Is the food fresh? Do they sneeze on your food??? Some may say, "Well, if you don't care for their disregard for Public Safety, just don't come." I won't ever eat at this establishment. I would discourage anyone from eating there. This was a deliberate disregard for their customers welfare and the safety of the community. Not impressed. read more

Someone is a fantastic organizer and problem solver to have been able to utilize so much of a generally small space so well. Amazing job! The partitions between booths are unobtrusive, but effective. Being able to remove just a few things here and there to space everything out properly... great job. This cafe is a model for others to follow everywhere. This is the top breakfast spot in this area. The food here was very good. You can tell they use high quality ingredients. My wheat bread had seeds in it and the bacon was a nice thick cut.
