We have done our research before started the back-yard landscaping in our new house. We got multiple quotes. Bills Landscaping had done our front side landscaping with the builder even that we were little concerned by the reviews and the stars received for Bills Landscaping. But discounted some of them based on the lack of quality content and decided to stick with Bills Landscaping to do our Back-yard landscaping too. They did our front yard and it was done nicely when we bought the home. In fact, they had done the front yard landscaping for all the newly built houses with that builder. We were also a little concerned because Bills Landscaping gave us the lowest price (by far) of anyone we consulted. We heard sometimes using the cheapest service, you may get low quality. After much more thought and discussion and verbal guarantees, we decided to move forward with Bills Landscaping. They gave us a quotation for the first(original) design and it was very fair. We changed the original design and asked to add concrete patio area, thrash bin holding area and drive way addition too. Bill had come second time and provided the updated quotation as we requested. After reviewing the plan, we asked to update and include all the measurements and more detail about the work. Bill was honor our request and written the plan and provided design with all the details and sent back within 2 days. After checking all the updates, we met Bill in person in his office and discussed all the detail work need to be done including the artificial grass type, rocks type, variety of plants, DG area, Boulders etc. We were very happy with his suggestions and the explanations he provided. We negotiated with Bill and he gave us free 2 medium size Boulders too. We paid initial nonrefundable deposit $620 and signed the agreement. This is a family own business. Their staff members are very professional too. They coordinated with us in advanced the dates that they will be coming to do the landscaping after signed the contract. One time they had to reschedule the starting date due to weather conditions. Even they emailed and asked to select the plants and fruit trees that we like from their available inventory stock. Per agreement, once they complete 50 % of the work, we need to pay 50% of the money. But in our case, they have completed 100% of the work and then only they sent the invoice for their work. They took around 5 days to complete work. Since we were not living in the house, they sent pictures for us to review after completing the work. We paid in full even without checking the complete work. We email them saying if the completed work need to be corrected, we will let them know. In fact, we went after a week and checked the work. We found out the patio concrete was not completed as we had in our original plan. We informed Bill and he came on the same day and promised to take care of everything to our satisfaction. Within two days' time, Bill has arranged his crew to complete the work and they took care of everything. We didn't have to pay anything extra since it was a correction to the original plan. They had done an excellent, beautiful landscaping in the back yard and front (had done before) both. We highly recommend Bills Landscaping to get your landscaping work done with fair budget. They are very trustworthy, professional, experienced, reliable, low cost, quality, licensed company and we are very happy and pleased with their work. Normally I don't write Reviews. But I thought of writing this since some people had written wrong information in their past reviews. We can recommend Bills Landscaping for front and back yard landscaping, concrete work, trees, rocks, artificial grass, DG everything that you need to make your yard beautiful. read more

I called Bill's Landscaping to give me a quote for my backyard. It was a complete mess when I bought the house and while I knew I wanted to get rid of a short wall and planter, I had no idea what else I wanted. Bill came over and walked the yard. I explained I wanted that horrible planter gone and wanted a some grass but had no other ideas. Bill walked the yard, stood and looked like he was in thought for a few min and then told me his rough ideas. He sent me a proposal and a few days later I went to his office to go over a few questions I had and sign the contract. The first day Taylor, Bill's son and superintendent, was there to tell the crew what the plan was. Luis, the foreman on the job, was very friendly and professional and they got to work right away with the demo. I was kinda bummed that I had to work late all week and I couldn't watch the transformation, but every morning Luis and crew were there working away. It only took 5 days from start to finish. Every night when I got home from work I tried not to look as I wanted the finished product to be a surprise. I didn't get home until a little after dark on the final day and when I finally walked the yard I was in disbelief. I had no idea how beautiful my yard was going to be. Bill, Taylor & company had made a backyard paradise, complete with a little area that had a fire pit so I could relax and have my coffee in the mornings, or a glass of wine after work. Even though I really didn't know what I wanted, Bill's knew exactly what to do. They created a beautiful space for myself and my family. It is beyond amazing. I had a small hiccup after they were done. I spoke to Karyn in the office and Luis was out the next morning to take care of it. Everyone that I've dealt with is friendly and professional, from the office staff to the crews. I am so happy with the back yard that I am having Bill refresh my front yard. read more

My father is 90 years old, on hospice, and lives at his home in Lancaster. As his son, I handle all his bills, so when I noticed his water bill had increased from $48 to $205, I was concerned he may have a broken irrigation line or something. Normally I would investigate the problem myself but I live seven hours away. So I looked online for landscaping companies in Lancaster and randomly called Bill's Landscaping, Inc. I explained the situation and ask if it was possible to send someone to his home to investigate? A short time later that day I received a call from Taylor Pursley stating he was at my dad's and what could he help me with. I described my concerns, so he checked all the sprinklers and looked for leaks. Finding none, he then asked my dad to look at the timer in the garage and discovered the programming was way off. Mr Pursley then reprogrammed the timer and got everything back to normal. I am very grateful for the excellent customer service displayed by Bill's Landscaping, Inc and can't thank Mr Pursley enough for stepping up! Sincerely, Scott read more

I would highly recommend Bill's company if you are thinking about getting any future landscaping work done! Also, the crew were great guys helping anyway they can if I had any questions or concerns. Finally, Taylor is the backbone of making sure everything is taking care of all your questions, needs adjustments you name it, he was great! He didn't hesitate to respond by making sure the project get done in a timely manner when some of the material was delayed for my project, which was no fault of his, he jump right on it to give me updates on when the rest of the materials has arrived. We had a slow start due to the rainy/stormy weather but in the end, it was all worth having an amazing front-yard and backyard hill top!! read more

We decided to re-do our 31 year old front yard this year. Normally, we always get a minimum of 3 bids for anything we do. However, after meeting with Bill, we decided right away to go with his company because of his honest, straightforward manner and years of experience. We had to wait a bit due to their busy schedule, but it was definitely worth it! During the job, Taylor was great to work with as we made several changes to the original plan. Communication was great and Taylor was there every day to make sure that things were moving along and that we were happy with what was being done and the progress. We can't say enough about Miguel and his crew that showed up every day on time and really put in the work, even in the extreme heat. They finished up last Friday and we were amazed at the final project. It not only met our expectations, but exceeded them! Our new front yard looks amazing! Thank you! read more

Since moving to the Antilope Valley both my wife and I experienced disappointment, much to the degree of strife with gardeners. Needless to say we were compelled to terminate the services of eleven gardening services since 2009. Mind you it was never about the money but the level of communication and competency between us and the gardening service who, sad to say, had issues with listening and aptitude. Since employing the services of Bill and his trusted lead gardener Carlos my wife Kate and I are at last pleased beyond contestation! As a former mayor in the San Francisco Bay Area, I am quite familiar with pleasing all the people all of the time. As such I can tell you without any reservation Bill and his legion of attentive employees measure up to the task. read more

From start to finish- it was awesome! I called to get a quote about leveling my land for my pool and Bill came and we walked my backyard and talked about my vision. He gave a me a great price and Taylor was able to squeeze me in between projects. It was amazing! Especially because other landscaping company's are pushed out till mid-June for new projects. Sergio and Enrique's crew came the next couple days and they worked two full days. Very fast and efficient workers who also knew exactly what I pictured and wanted. Everyone stayed up to code via Covid-19 and was very very respectful of my home and neighbors. My backyard came out beautifully. Thank you, Bills Landscaping! read more

I highly recommend this company! Bill and team were a pleasure to work with and did a great job on both my front and back yard. Had all the grass removed, sprinklers re-routed, some concrete replaced and dry riverbeds put in. They also did some creative work for me with some planters I already owned by putting drippers in them for self watering and installed over 20 drought tolerant plants. Even with 2 yards to work they completed the job in less than a week. It's actually fun for my wife and I to be outside again, and with no grass to cut we're saving big on the water and doing the right thing for planet Earth. Thank you Bill! read more

We had our front yard done by Bills Landscaping, with desert landscape, and it turned out marvelous, we love it. They installed a walkway, with steps made of concrete and red brick to match our front door. We get nothing but positive compliments from anyone who visits our house. The one thing that stands out is always hearing Taylor, the crew foreman, say over and over "I want this yard to look like I live here." The crew was very receptive to any suggestion we had, even if it meant doing it over again. Just outstanding work, and we would recommend Bills Landscaping to Family, Friends, or strangers, doesn't matter. read more

We were very happy with Bill's Landscaping Inc during every step of our project. Bill came out to give a quote, he was very professional and did not make us feel pressured about any aspect of the job. Once we decided to move forward, everyone we talked to from the office staff, scheduling, and foreman were very professional. Our backyard came out better than we expected and took less than time than originally scheduled. We will definitely continue working with Bill's Landscaping Inc. read more

We had them come out and install another water line to the backyard along with sod and some trees. The guys who came and did the work were absolutely amazing. They did it all in a timely manner and were incredibly professional. After a few months (11 to be exact), one of the trees died and sadly didn't come back. I called them to let them know and they brought me another one in less than 48 hours. So glad I went with this company and look forward to using them again in the future. read more
